My family went to Alpenglow Condominiums this summer and had an amazing time. It had four amazing rooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, a huge living room, a great kitchen, and a awesome hot tub to use. It was a very short drive from the ground camp which made it very convient. It sure was a great condo to stay at!

Stayed one night in a three-bedroom condo. Arrived late (about 9pm) so didn’t get to explore the Big Sky resort as was on the road first thing the next morning. Note the bar and supermarket in the resort closes at 10pm. The condo we had was awesome. Based over three floors, it had three bedrooms spread over the top two floors. The balcony on the second floor which had a BBQ and hot tub. Bedroom had a comfortable bed and bathroom had a good shower. The condo was well kitted out including a decent kitchen and washer/dryer. Check in for the Alpenglow Condos is at the Summit Hotel. Recommended. Stay more than one night though!

There are many different condos so this review is about where we stayed and may be different from the other units. Our unit had a nice view and a hot tub on the first floor. The hot tub was off of the master bedroom. We didn't use it but don't expect any privacy. The other units are right there. We sat out on the tiny deck on the main floor and could see the neighbors in the hot tub and hear their conversation. Usually A/C isn't an issue but it was very warm when we were there and it took a while for the place to cool down especially the main floor. There was parking in front of the garage and in the single car garage. The place we rented had a bedroom upstairs and a full bath. Downstairs there were two bedrooms, two baths and a full size laundry room. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is across the street from the main hotels, lifts etc. It is walkable, sort of if you mind the traffic. We walked over and there are no sidewalks. The unit was a bit dated and the bedding/pillows left something to be desired. The only real complaint was that our unit looked like it had not been dusted in a good long time and there was pet hair on the rugs and scattered throughout the place. That being said it was a comfortable unit.

We stayed at alpenglow for 2 days after 7 days at Teton/Yellowstone. This was just for a slow down before our next week of hectic vacation mode. The condos are very nice. Pretty clean though the cleaners don't bother with dusting under chairs or beds. Very spacious and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Big sky is a nice get away where you can slow down on your vacation. You have full access to the hotel pools but the pools were pretty dirty so you are better off using the hot tub at the condo.

WOW. This was, quite possibly, the best place I've ever stayed. The condominium had a living room complete with a fire place and large flat-screen TV, a large kitchen and dining area, a one-car garage, three bathrooms, and three bedrooms. There was also a hot tub off the master suite, which was perfect after a day of skiing! Also included were the regular amenities - towels, soap, dishes, etc. The entire condo was clean, airy, and homey. It's also very close to the base of Big Sky Ski Resort...literally two minutes down the road. We booked a stay here through vrbo.com and highly recommend it. It's a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it!

A very, very large condo. The view was one of the greatest parts of the room. The room overlooked Lone Peak, and was beautiful at the sunrises and sunsets. Most of the condos were owned by people, so it was almost a grab-bag on the quality of the beds/furniture/etc. It was not too far from base, but it does require a shuttle to go to and from the mountain. The skiing was amazing. I myself ski the blacks, and the powder was some of the best in the U.S. What I liked about the skiing was that no matter how good or bad you are at skiing, you can always be challenged. There is a wide variety of small cafes right on the mountain, so you don't need to ski all the way down to the main base area.

After deliberating where to stay we discovered Big Sky and Alpenglow Condominiums. This was truely the best discision we made by far. The condo was wonderful, fully equipt and so cosy. Everything we needed was there and a beautiful view. We could even do our laundry which was great as we are on a month USA trip. It was a gem of a find. Shuttle service to where you want to go and free as well and on time. Thanks to Melinda our housekeeper as well for cleaning up after us every day. We will indeed be back.

We have spent the last THREE January's staying at Alpenglow. We rent with an AMAZING Owner through VRBO (vacation rental by owner) #328898. His Condo is comfortable and well stocked with EVERYTHING you need. It is nice to be less than 5 minutes from the hill and yet far enough at the end of the day to not feel crowded like a tourist staying a the base of the mountain. The Condo has everything for families with young kids, such as a playpen, gate and baby chair. The hot tub and views are fantastic! We LOVE Big Sky... the locals are fantastic! And the Ski Conditions and Alpine are unbeatable at any other resort. Traveling with three kids, the Ski School and Lone Peak Playhouse have been amazing to us, making us feel at home and like we are family.

Our unit at Alpenglow (36A) was convenient and the views were terrific. However, the condo itself was disappointing. It does not feel like a "home" but a rental that no one takes a real interest in making homey. The wall spaces are very large but bare and make it feel empty. The level of cleanliness was bad, it was not vacuumed when we arrived, the sheets were clean but the bedding looked unwashed, and the garbage disposal hadn't been run so an odor of garbage emanated from the sink. The kitchen was adequate but knife handles were broken making them hard to use and the pots and pans were a medley of non-stick with the surface material scratched and dirty looking. The master bath even had a dirty hand towel left from the previous occupants. We called the main desk to ask if someone could come in to vacuum and they came and emptied the trash but didn't vacuum. Also, no information was available in the condo on local dining options or activities if someone wanted to take a day off from skiing. All of this was in contrast to many other condos we have stayed in at other resorts where we felt like we were welcome guests in someone's home. Despite our disappointment in the condo we had 5 days of terrific skiing so a return visit in a different condo is something we will consider.

Hi, We are very sorry to hear that your stay at the Alpenglow Condominiums did not meet expectations. The housekeeping issues you point out are unacceptable and have already been addressed. In addition, all of our condominiums have information on the Resort and local dining and activities and we are very sorry that this information was missing from your condominium when you arrived. We certainly hope that you try booking with us again.
