Very nicely appointed room with fireplace and updated bathroom, with different angles. Small kitchenette is convenient for consecutive day stays. Our Murphy bed was a double but comfortable. The sofa bed was more on the lagging spring side. The kitchenette was comfortably supplied with coffee machine, coffee and basics.
There is a ski valet on 2nd floor and a small gym and pool. Our room had built in cabinets that can fit anything you could possibly bring for a 3 day week end. They also have a breakfast package that is served in the Huntley Lodge across the “street” in a huge room with a very very large supply in their buffet. What was mind boggling is the luke warm water in shower during our entire stay. Multiple requests to Front desk generated absolutely nothing but ridiculous excuses. It is surprising considering the price and property level. Last but not least: check in is at another building, then they follow your car to the parking lot, move all your suitcases to their suburban and drop you off close by, at front entrance (to avoid a myriad of cars driving on pedestrian walk through the village). Enjoy!

My wife and I stayed here mid-December 2020. I was REALLY pleased by the super friendly staff and the room itself. We stayed there for 4 days and we saw Emily (the front desk girl) all the time. She was super friendly and always had a smile on her face. She made our stay there even better with our quick conversations as we came and went from the resort.
I really enjoyed the room as well. It had a small kitchen complete with microwave, coffee maker, sink, and ever a humidifier (which we got a lot of use out of!) The bathroom was a good size (plenty of room for 2 people to be in there at one time.) Our room had a murphy (wall) bed and also a pull out couch. My wife and I used the murphy bed every night and it was good. We were nice and toasty warm every night. The couch was a leather/cloth mix and pretty comfy. One of the best parts of the room was the fireplace! It was a gas fireplace with a timer (of course) but it provided a lot of heat and it was just nice to sit in front of it and warm up after a day of snowboarding.
The worst part of the room is that you could NOT see the tv while you were laying in the murphy bed. The tv tucks away inside the wall closet unit but it doesn't turn enough (and the closet door is in the way) so you can barely see the tv while laying in bed. Annoying but not a deal breaker. You can see the tv perfectly if you are on the couch.
Breakfast was included (tipping seemed to be optional) but you had to go to the building across from ours to get it. It was kind of a buffet style breakfast. We mostly had the eggs, bacon, potatoes, and pancakes every morning with were all very good. They did have a small carving station and an omlette station (I believe) as well.
I loved this resort and the room we had was great! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and when I return to big sky again I will be staying here.

Danielle and Whitney were awesome and I cannot thank them enough for their efforts in helping me find my lost skis during my stay. They worked her to get my skis back to me and kept me updated the entire time. I would definitely recommend staying at the village center. I would also highly recommend this place for the breakfast that was provided every morning, it was buffet style and had lots of options for you to chose from omelets, bagels, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, etc.

Really enjoyed our star at Village Center! First, the suites are not enormous but well appointed and very much updated compared to other properties we looked at. The location was amazing! Well situated in the village, can ski down to your personal ski valet and right next door to the Huntley Lodge where an A-mazing breakfast is served complimentary every morning. (My kids seriously loved the breakfast)
Great heated pool and hot tub for after skiing that never felt crowded. Beds were all comfy (even the Murphy bed) The staff was extremely accommodating and overall a great experience! The only knock was the room temperature (very warm) ...we had to toggle when the thermostat on the first night but figured it out eventually.

No longer truly ski-in/out as they've done away with attendants who used to take skis up the hill for customers, something that should be included at the exorbitant price points that have become the standard throughout Big Sky post-pandemic (hard to justify as their "no lift line" claim no longer holds true). Some rooms have Murphy beds, some have mini or full kitchens. There's usually plenty of storage, nice bathrooms (no tubs), gas fireplaces. Large, average-quality breakfast buffet is down the lane @ Chet's in the Huntley.

Was on the road traveling from out of state and on one of the nights stayed at the big sky resort. The wife and kids were very happy with the beautiful resort and comfortable room. Cassie at the front desk was very helpful with directions and giving advice on places to eat and hike. She also helped me with some urgent documents that needed to be signed. Hope to be back again and be able to spend more time in Big Sky and at this beautiful resort.

This hotel is wonderfully located, and every member of the staff is a gem. But we paid for what we thought was "ski in, ski out" convenience, but didn't get it. If you get a ground level room you can ski in to your place, but you cannot ski out. In order to get to the closest lift, you have to carry your gear at least 100 feet, up an embankment, and around a fence for a ski school area that I never saw used once during our 9 day stay. It is also important to know that runs are neither clearly marked nor sufficiently groomed at this resort. On more than one occasion I was skiing with my two children on what we thought was a green run, only to encounter a steep section covered in moguls. Also, we took a chairlift over to a part of the mountain where the entire section of green runs were closed off, though there was nothing on the trail map or posted by the chairlift to tell us that. This resort wants to compete with the biggies but still falls far short in many areas. The people and the free breakfast are the best things about this place. Will not be returning.

Hi @LynneAnn6, Thank you for taking the time to review the Village Center. As you mentioned, the Village Center is wonderfully located right in the base area, and the ground floor units ("Ski Suites") are right on the snow. However, for the reason you mentioned, we do offer complimentary ski valet, where our valets will store your gear right at the base of the lift so that you do not have to carry it up hill. I apologize that this was not effectively communicated to you on your arrival. We value all of your feedback, and will pass on your comments about signage to the appropriate department. -Zander, Big Sky Resort

Huge thanks to all the amazing friendly staff at Big Sky Resort Village Center for a wonderful vacay. We were always greeted with a genuine smile and positive helpful attitude from the front desk, valets, and house keepers. Special shout out to Geoff, Jenelle, Garesha, and all those who made our stay feel supported and connected. Our room was clean, warm, cozy and well appointed, and ideally located with very close proximity to the chairlifts and central village. Early access to the Ramcharger chair is a must for an hour of fresh tracks and uncrowded open runs. Food and coffee are easily accessed and a full breakfast buffet at Chet’s Restaurant (just across the walk) was included with hour room. Be sure to sign up for Boyne Rewards through the resort to get cash back deals during your stay. We cashed in over $85 toward a lovely lunch at Everett’s on top of Ramcharger. Absolutely delicious and a gorgeous setting. Reservations accepted and encouraged. Big Sky ROCKS and we can’t wait to return. Thanks to everyone for making it both elevated and down to earth. Nailed it!

Superb experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and provide every amenity you might need for a long stay or a short one. The rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, large walk-in showers, and lots of space for storing suitcases, and all of your things. There is a free on-site laundry, which is amazing, and I definitely needed it and used it . They also have a wonderful turn down service . The staff on site is also very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The view from my room is also beyond anything I could have hopes for.

Resort was great...cozy, clean, and provided everything needed. Ski in Ski out was exactly what we needed and waking distance to everything not in the resort. Due to dry air we kept the heat off because it caused extra stuffiness (would have been great to have a humidifier in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an amazing housekeeper Jenelle that made our stay even better!!!
