Detailed Reviews
I have stayed at a few Drury Inns and they are all consistently good. The corporate ethos is pretty strong and you can tell this extends to their management. This property was good, not spectacular but better than a lot of other hotels.
Rooms were large but dated
Wifi was good
Toiletteries were just that (wall mounted)
Location is good and access is good depending on what you want to do downtown. I tried to stay over by Union Station but that Drury was sold out.
Breakfast and 5.30 kick back was good and well serviced.
Overall, don't expect luxury but do expect a good all around stay.
The only complaint would be the fitness center is pretty weak for a fitness center. Could be improved.
Recommend and would stay again.

The rooms themselves were a bit dated, but certainly not bad, and there weren't a ton of fancy amenities, but the staff was the best I've ever seen, even compared to much more upscale places. I feel like this must be a good place to work, because every single staff member we spoke to seemed genuinely happy to be there. Just the friendliest and most helpful folks, anything we needed was provided IMMEDIATELY with a smile. Check in took seconds, even though we arrived late at night, and the man at the front desk, Greg, was so charismatic I actually stopped to chat for several minutes even though it was late and I was tired. He let us know where and when everything was. He seemed like he sincerely enjoyed working with the public and talking to people, and you could tell he had experience in hospitality. We had a dead battery in our truck, and the front desk had someone out to help in less than 5 minutes. We were late checking out, and they accommodated us at no extra charge. Every staff member we passed greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. Can't say enough about how impressed we were with the people working there. Parking was convenient, there was an entrance to the hotel from the parking garage just steps from our vehicle and the elevator to our room was just inside the door. Not to mention you really can't beat the price for the location. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to St. Louis.

We stayed for one night. We were greeted at reception by GG, she was very cheerful and accommodating. The lobby is large, had everything even a shop. Parking was $15 but totally secure and you could leave the car after checkout. Good value for St Louis. Our room was spacious, really clean and comfortable.
Best thing we had 3 drinks each included, snacks - which was basically a meal and hot breakfast, all you can eat.
The Gateway Arch is only 15 min walk.
The hotel is a little dated but can be excused as it’s such great value and service.
Would stay again.

We LOVE Drurys. We have probably stayed in 6+ different ones in the St Louis location. This hotel is very much run down and in desperate need of refurbishment. Stains on floors/furniture, mold, holes in wall, hole in furniture. We pulled out the couch to use it as a bed and found food all over the sheets. It’s just not a clean hotel. This location isn’t the greatest for downtown. It can be rough at night. If you want to stay downtown, stay at the drury right next to the arch.
I do want to highlight the customer service. It’s some of the best we have ever received at a hotel. They are all friendly and go out their way to make sure we had a great experience. If it wasn’t for the quality of the hotel and the location, I’d come back just for the service. These employees need more pay/recognition with the environment they are dealing with. Housekeeping does need to step it up. Room was not clean at all. Floors were sticky, food inside furniture, sheets dirty…
Thanks to the manager and the front desk staff… I gave this stay 3 stars instead on 1.

Best price I could find in downtown St Louis. Turned out great. Is next to convention center and was a 10 minute walk to the Arch. Parking on-site in a deck, only $18 per night which is 20 to 30 dollars cheaper than all other hotels downtown. Parking is on 4th floor and aim for the red lit up Drury sign which is closest to the hotel entrance. It is a huge building so takes a little bit to get used to navigating around, but after 1 or 2 times in and out of your room it will be east. Our room was on the 6th floor and is a long walk from the elevator because there are tons of rooms and the floor is enormous. A unique and convenient thing that our room 639 had was a 2nd door in back of the room which led to the 5th floor via just a few steps. Hard to describe but the back door leads to a courtyard like area on the 5th floor. Beautifully appointed area not a creepy back door. You can re-enter your room directly from this back door with your key card. The 5th floor has some rooms but also all the common amenities like sitting areas food, swimming pool and work out room. Beautiful lobby on the 1st floor. They have free full breakfast and also free full dinner each day. Amazing!. Also includes 2 free alcohol drinks on 1st night. This is a huge time and money savings being downtown. The room itself is nice and large. Had a microwave and mini fridge. Good bathroom, very clean room. Comfy bed. Staff was very friendly, helpful and great. Felt safe even though its such a big building. Key card is needed to get into the building and elevators to help with security. I will stay here again for sure when in St Louis.

Although the hotel is in a convenient location it is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The room had no window, only a window to an interior hallway. The room was also very small and everything felt in need of updating. There was only one working elevator for the whole hotel and staircases that only went to the parking garage which seemed like a major safety issue. The hotel's interior is drab and everything is outdated. The breakfast was mediocre at best and the pool looks like a kiddie pool. For the price this hotel is absolutely not worth it. Look elsewhere!!

Despite the very high price, we chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Gateway Arch Riverboats but have been disappointed with our stay. The hotel room allocated only had an internal window and led out onto the main public eating areas and swimming pool. This area was very noisy with children into the later hours and also the food smells were very apparent at times. The air conditioning system in the hotel is very loud all night too so not conducive to a relaxing stay.

Excellent location if you want to visit the Arch in St. Louise. Just a short walk and youre there. The hotel has a secure parking area so you feel safe leaving anything in your car. And they allowed us to leave our car in the car port even after we checked out so we could have a secure place for the day. The hotel is beautiful inside. Nicest dining area I've ever seen for breakfast, and they have dinner and drinks in the evening!! Wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi area that's open year round. The room was comfortable and we slept well with no noise at all.

Perfect hotel for our recent stay. It is within walking distance to the Arch and Busch Stadium. The hotel is VERY SECURE. Parking is $18/night, which is reasonable after checking other hotels. It is a secure parking structure. No one gets in without a room key. No one gets in the lobby or in an elevator without a key. I felt totally safe in the hotel. Room was nice and very clean. The rooms have 2 doors, one to the hallway and 1 that opens to the atrium area where breakfast and dinner are served. The pool and workout room are in the same area. The hot breakfast is good and so is the dinner! The only problem we had was we asked for light housekeeping and no one came, but it was ok. We went to the front desk for towels. The location is easy off and easy on the interstates. Definitely would stay here again!

We stayed three days and found the staff here one of the friendliest of our many hotel stays including a long visit with the manager who came by at breakfast to ask how our stay was.
I left some important computer parts behind and the housekeeping staff quickly overnighted them to me at my next destination.
A historic building like this has its challenges when repurposing to a hotel but its great location and friendly service make it a great place to stay.
