Detailed Reviews
We came here for Supercross 2020 and had a great stay. They offered a free shuttle up to 3 miles (stops at 10:15 pm) and we were able to use that which was a money saver. Our driver really knew his way around and even picked a large group of us up after the race, which ended up later than the stop time. We were able to check in 2 hours early, our room was spacious and clean. We had a small kitchen, 2 beds, and a pull out sofa.
The continental breakfast had items for all ages, all likes. It was well stocked even close to closing. Animal friendly, but kept clean and close proximity, would definitely stay here again.

Reasonable price for its close proximity to attractions downtown. We initially booked a single room suite with the intention of letting the kids share the sofa bed but…the sofa bed is tiny. My 10 year old *might* have been comfortable but there was no way my kids could have shared it.
The front desk was very accommodating and moved us to a 2 bedroom suite as soon as we mentioned it. Although not a perfect room (some things could have been a little cleaner, the dishwasher had standing water in it when we arrived and one bedroom had a little awkward setup), it was overall very comfortable and we would stay there again if in town
Major kudos to all of the staff! We didn’t run into one person that was anything less than lovely. The continental breakfast was amazing. Special shout-out to the staff running the kitchen were very friendly and willing to help you find anything.

This is a great location, they are saying it needs a remodel and is scheduled. It needs it. Seems a little neglected compared to last year. Breakfast still outstanding. Two staff working there are fantastic. Check in went great. Kitchen supplies were basically nonexistent in our room, we requested three times over 2 days, none ever brought to us. Place is clean.

The only thing that was nice about the hotel was the distance to downtown and the friendliness of the front desk staff. First, after we checked in, I went to the 4th floor where our room was and it smelled of hot garbage as the doors opened. There were bags of garbage on the table in the hallway down the hall as we walked to our room was the same. It smelled terrible- the garbage had sat for a while, and humid. In the kitchen area, there was water staining on the 'wood' floor, like something had leaked and had not been cleaned up. Later as I opened the cabinet beneath the sink to grab a sponge that was still wrapped in the plastic package, I opened it up and there was mold spots on the sponge. Reflection of the cleanliness and housekeeping team. I went to check out the bathroom in our room, and there was paint hanging down from the ceiling. This is likely from the humidity of the bathroom since there is not a fan. I also requested a pack and play a couple weeks ahead of time and requested it to be dropped off to the room ahead of time. Had to call the front desk and they brought it up about 20-30 minutes later, without any extra blankets, or pillows. We went down to get them ourselves. I brought my own disinfectant and sprayed high touch surfaces. Lastly, the grab and go breakfast was completely disappointing. Only a few options to grab and go- no fruits, prepackaged muffins that also tasted awful, yogurts, coffee and bottled juice

This is the worst Residence Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The price is outrageous priced for the value.
1. checking in was a bad experience. The lobby were filled with unhappy people. There were 4 staff behind the desk, most appeared to do nothing. I’m platinum elite and I ‘ve chatted ahead of time requesting that my friends and I be assigned connecting rooms or at least be close to one another. Wasted effort because they had no acknowledgement of our request and took a long time to get us to be across from each other.
2. the room was in dilapidated shape. The chair was tattered on both sides with foam exposed. The carpet had many visible poop stains near the sink. The shower has fallen shampoo/conditioner bottles that once were on the wall. The ceiling above the bathtub is peeling. I took pictures of all this.
3. They did have a nice evening “happy hour” where burgers and brats were served on Tues night and Sub sandwiches on Wed night. All was good except there was a “beer” Natzi who insisted on serving the beer and she was very stingy with what you can get. We gave up and forgo the “free beer”. It just wasn’t worth it dealing with the beer natzi
Bottom line? This place needs a total overhaul. The price they charge is way overpriced for the value you get. Also, the claim that their location downtown st Luis is a total stretch. We will not be back!!

The first lady at the desk was very nice she was the older one at the front desk and was was very accommodating. The younger one is ruder then #$%%. Completely unwelcoming. Left me at a bar for 45 minutes out in the cold waiting for the shuttle driver. When I called the shuttle driver hadn't left because she didn't tell him. ST Louis Louis downtown is not a place to be on a corner at night. The room is dirty for what you would think a Marriott should be. I didn't even have a toilet paper roll holder rod, must be too expensive to replace.... The shower leaks water down the wall behind the pipe as well. The toilet seat has stains. There's dirt in the corners of the floor as if vacuuming is a inconvenience to them.
The bartender was nice and the shuttle driver were nice. So in guess that's a plus...
Long story short. Last time I visit St Louis, last time I stay at a residence inn.
Fyi I stay at about 200 nights at a Marriott a year so at least take that for what it is.

This was by far the worse Residence Inn I have ever stayed at. The front desk clerk was nice and friendly, this is the only good thing about the hotel. The entire hotel smelled very bad. Our room was very dirty with stains on the couch, dirty tub, broken screen, bird poop on the outside table, dirty bathroom and a clogged bath tub. The blanket in our room for the sofa couch smelled like pee. I asked the manager to smell it and he said it didn't smell and that's how all the blankets smell however when he gave me a different one you could clearly smell the difference. I didn't get credit for my hotel stay even though I booked it directly through Marriott. They also said gold members pretty much do not matter at their hotel. This hotel was so bad that I was scheduled to stay two nights and I only stayed the one night because there were no other hotels available. I was so determined to not stay another night at this hotel that I paid almost double to make sure I had a different hotel the next day. The maintenance guy who came to fix the tub was nice as well. However the manager definitely should be replaced at this hotel.

Please do not be fooled by the central location to downtown. This is not a good place to stay.
While our room was great and the breakfast provided was delicious, this hotel is not safe at all.
Our car, along with at least 4 others was broken into. The windows were busted out on each vehicle. Turns out the gate was broken, which allowed them to get in. After talking with employees, we learned that this was the third break in within the last couple of weeks. Management knew this was happening and did not care about the safety of their guests. So what the gate is broken and you are waiting in a part to come in. Hire security in the meantime! Thankfully no guests were hurt but our vehicle along with several others were damaged.
While the window experience was horrible, we did have a very nice employee help us clean the glass out of our car and went out of his way to find us duct tape and cardboard after another victim used it all.
We are Marriott titanium members and have stayed at hotels all across the world. Nothing like this has ever happened and we have never felt so unsafe. This hotel is NOT safe and does not care about the safety of their guests.

All of our burgers were juicy and full of flavor
We have a big family and we got pull pretty fast and fries were really good to. My burger was really spicy and really goo. This is the burger I expect at a fancy restaurant

My wife and are both Titanium for Life with Marriott's and we have stayed at a lot of their hotels on various continents. We had a problem with the way we reserved our room, and when we presented the from desk associate with our dilemma, that associate Karniesha, went way above the call of duty to take care of us and help us. No questions asked and it was done with excellent hospitality and would highly recommend this property to anyone needing a room in downtown St. Louis.

I think it can be either way. I’m a gold elite Marriott rewards so you would think that might get comped. It has some but have also paid $10 I think. But, I’m done staying there, at least for now. Too many problems that go on and on. Have liked this property for years. But, too many negatives for now. And don’t like paying for paying above the price of room.
There is a new manager. He had just started. I plan on addressing the issue with Marriott Corporate next week. The price to stay was too steep for the issues the propriety has right now.
It was pretty cool when we were there so I didn’t try. Some of the rooms do have balconies.
The kids will be able to ride the shuttle as well. I believe it is within a 3 or 5 mile radius.
