Beautiful, from the time I checked in to the moment I checked out,. Chan greeted me at the Hotel counter and was nothing but friendly and accommodating. She made sure my Card matched my ID and even added my guest to the room so they could obtain a key on their arrival incase I was in the Casino. The Luxury King Smoking room is gorgeous and even being a Smoking room it didn't smell of stall smoke or anything. I enjoyed the shower and the bed, it was a nice Local Getaway , and I will be sure to return.

Very beautiful hotel and casino. Very very clean. I’m very funny about where I sleep and shower and I never felt like it was nasty, I slept very comfortably. The room was fancy had a tv in the mirror of the bathroom. Also the room had a doorbell. The do not disturb and housekeeping request was digital and a little light would come on outside the door when pressed from the inside. A few people stuck out to me lenika at the front desk was always friendly and joking with us. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable! And a Houskeeper Jennifer I believe was her name. They don’t come clean the rooms daily if you are staying multiple days and she was very nice and stopped cleaning another room to come get our dirty towels and trash upon my request. Great stay. I have no complaints.

The room was clean, decorated well and of ample size. We had a good night’s sleep on a comfortable bed. It was a nice room. There were small things that kept it from being a great room. No bar soap. The liquid soap dispenser was terrible. You had to Puskar so many times to get a small drop of soap. Temperature in the room is supposedly locked down when the room is vacant. There is a certain procedure to unlock the thermostat and turn the heat up which is not written down. I called the front desk and no one ever answered. I went down to the front desk, waited in line to talk to someone who shared the procedure to turn up the heat. To top it off no one apologized. Nice room but not perfect.

Horrible for $133 I could have stayed at a Marriott in St. Louis county with a pool open, Fitness center open, Restaurants and everything around me. I got way duped on this stay. First they are still charging a resort fee granted it is discounted to 5.85 vs 10 but they claim its for security and parking and that stuff. LOL this is a joke parking is already free and If I come to a hotel that doesn't have security we have problems. They don't clean the rooms until you leave and if you go on a monday don't expect any food options most of the restaurants are closed. They take a $50 hold for amenities lol but there are none my tv didn't even offer on demand movies, there is no room service nor anything else I would spend that $50 on so I am still confused why they took it. I attached a picture of the hours for food. If you decide to book here the one thing I can tell you is the Bed and Shower are 4 star material but everything else I would say 2 star:-( The place just is not ready to open yet and I think that's part of the issue. I also noticed when leaving that a BMW parked over night in the garage, its windshield had been hit by a baseball bat and was messed up. Not sure security is doing a very good job. I did talk to the housekeeping manager on exit and she did try to make things right but she was very limited on what to do. Also why in the world would you still allow smoking during a pandemic that is why we couldn't even try the asian noodles place because its buried in the smoke filled casino. If you thought this was helpful please give it a thums up and follow me for more.

My husband and I visited the casino last year for a few hours and loved it. So for our wedding anniversary, we decided to stay the night. Disappointed, appalled and disgusted would fit this experience. Starting with a $200 room that looks like it is a 50.00 motel, pictures of disgusting furniture attached. I understand COVID but why stop serving at 9 pm drinks and then 5 workers come by and say "hurry up drinks done at 10!" So not even water on the floor after 10...what do people do?! The icing on the cake was two worker came by saying drinks need done in 2 min, my husband just set the drink down and had not even had time to put mask up when the one worker became very rude. My husband tried explaining he had just took a drink when the worker said " I don't give a f***, before you set drink down put your d*** mask up!" What type of employee do you have working for you? So naturally that put my husband in a foul mood. Thanks for ruining my anniversary

I have visited River City a several occasions since there re-opening. The property is spotless and they made every attempt to keep the players as safe as possible. I like the dealers and the players. Very good experience.

No communication throughout establishment. Bought some food To Go at the restaurant outside casino. On my way back in the casino to get my mom so we can leave. I was stopped by Abdul in security and was told I couldn't take food in casino. Was not notified by the restaurant nor where there signs posted informing guests of this. I asked for a manager who was very pleasant by the way. Forgot his name. Tall, african american. He was very professional unlike Abdul who was very rude and shouldn't be in the front greeting people. Please inform people of this by posting signs or having the restaurant let the patrons know this before ordering their food. I threw my food in the trash because there was no way me nor my nom who is elderly and on a cane was going to walk ALL the way around the casino to my car!!!!!!! unacceptable!!!!!

The last few years, we have gone to a hotel near the airport, enjoying their party and accommodations. This year, we found out the night before that it was cancelled because someone had passed away. On New Year's Eve, while looking for a new place, we thought of River City Casino because it is close to where we live. When we got there, they were booked, but put our name on a waiting list, hoping for a cancelation. We had to get a My Choice card first. We kept checking in with the rep at the desk, Kiera. She was awesome! Eventually, she was able to find us a room. She said she our persistence inspired her to work really hard at getting us a room, and at a good price. Kiera was amazing! In addition, we ate at The Brewhouse. Our sandwiches were delicious and so big, we only ate half, saving the other halves for dinner the next evening. While waiting to be seated and while we ate, we were emtertained by Tisha(from season 14 of "The Voice". She sang a variety of songs, putting on a fabulous show, even though many people in her audience were just passing by or were just rude and didn't bother to clap. I made sure I clapped at the end of every song; she deserved it! We also went to hear "Breakdown Shakedown" in "Judy's Velvet Lounge". They were fantastic, too. They pkayed a variety of hits from over the decades, rock, country, pop, etc. Great dance music! We stayed for about 2 hrs, even though we did not gave seats. Since the drink lines were pretty long, we got drinks at the bar on the isle on the opposite side of the casino. The bartender, who was working the right end if the bar served us and made my drink, including giving me a little extra sour mix. He even remembered the 3 times we came back! Also, our room was excellent! There was a TV in the bathroom mirror! The room had a mini-fridge for our left-overs. We slept very well. I would reccommend River City to anyone.

Looked into hotel that were affordable really nice really safe and close to St Louis MO on my drive from east coast to west coast moving in a Penske truck rental and found River City hotel and casino we aren’t gamblers but the hotel has a separate entrance from the casino. Easy free parking with close access to lobby. Easy check in check out. The prices were really awesome. We paid $116 a night plus tax! The room was a king room and we could see the River from the room. The hotel was great!’ AC was very quiet and worked perfectly! The shower has 2 heads and the bathroom mirror has TV!! Really luxurious for $116!!

My husband and I came up for graduation at FLW and decided to have some fun. So glad we stayed here. Room was impeccable and spotless, super clean, comfy bed. Loved the staff, loved the casino. My only complaint was there wasn’t a lot of selections as far as food goes. We are at the Asia restaurant and it was average, Panda Express would’ve been better. The pizza from the SC ports bar was delicious. No place to get coffee in the morning bc the breakfast spot was still closed. The front desk gave up coffee for our room but it’s not like fresh brewed coffee. I’d definitely go back and if all the restaurants were open it would’ve been excellent.
