We stayed here whilst travelling Dunedin to Cromwell. The room & bathroom were both huge, items included to assist with your stay were on a par with any fancy schmancy place in a big city - iron, toiletries, extra blanket, plunger coffee, everything you might need. Bed was amazingly comfortable & we loved having a quiet drink at the outside table in the late afternoon sunshine.
Centrally located, tucked away off the main street and yet perfectly positioned for a wander downtown.
Highly highly recommend, we really enjoyed our stay & wish it had been for more than just the one night.

Excellently presented unit. Very comfortable bed. The shower wow the water pressure we loved it. The hostess was very accommodating and organised it so we could have the unit for 3 nights at peck time of Christmas after just coming in on chance

I stayed here with my parents on our way from Queenstown to Dunedin. Our rooms were large and incredibly clean. The bathroom was also spacious with great shower pressure. It has everything you might need including a fridge and microwave. There was a heat pump in each room, electric blankets and spare blankets if needed. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Susan was super friendly and you can tell she takes pride in her rooms. Our stay was faultless. We arrived on motorcycles, the parking was good and they were hidden largely from the street. The room was spacious and contained everything you could ever need. Kit Kat bar was really appreciated. Such a simple cheap thing that means so much after a day of travelling. Supermarket was across the street and so were the cafes and the pub was short stroll as well. This is the type of place that you would change your trip for so you could stay here.

We stayed at Jafas 3 bedroom house in Lawrence when biking with friends to and from Waihola and must recommend it very highly indeed. The house is modern, clean, warm, very well appointed and has little extras to enjoy. Because we were on bikes Susan made a car available to us to go out for dinner. She was so accommodating re luggage and check in. All 6 of us found all the beds really comfortable.

The room was well maintained & clean. There were lots of little extras in the room ie: filtered water, Kit Kat chocolate, bathroom extras. The service was super friendly & the lady went above & beyond.
The breakfast was amazing value for money.
Definitely recommend staying here.

Hotplate and saucepans provided for us to cook an evening meal. Very clean, up to date decor, spacious unit and most comfortable bed in Unit 2. Loved the Kit Kat bars. Lovely shower and fluffy, well cleaned towels and bed linen. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the near new holiday house, it was absolutely perfect for our family stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and it provided an excellent base to explore the Clutha Gold Cycle Track. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thanks.

This was just an overnight stop but what a great choice. The room was spacious, the bed really comfortable, location close to shops and cafes but quiet and the owner was really friendly. Definitely worthwhile for a stop in Lawrence

Motel room was very clean and warm on arrival. Susan the host provided advice for dinner. Supermarket and main street are 50m away so park up and explore the town is so easy. Local pub is nearby for very nice meal. Definitely stay again and explore the town and Gabriels gully. Ideal stop for after the bike trail.
