This lodging is an excellent facility close to the main town locations, the beach and much fine dining.

The people who you need to interact with are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Adrian is a dedicated hospitality person who strives to make the vacation experience as enjoyable as possible. His front desk colleague Luis is equally passionate.

In the restaurant, Jonathon was effortlessly attentive and friendly helping enjoy the breakfast experience. He is very knowledgeable about amenities in the town and speaks excellent English.

We were there 2 weeks and discovered Mary’s Tacos, La Rustica and the Parisienne Bakery diagonally across from the Sports Bar around the corner. These are real finds.

The hamburgers at Fongeria directly outside the lodging were excellent and inexpensive. It is essentially a food truck with atmosphere but has flat tire.

The fresh churros by the bridge at night are great and we went 14 times.

The lodging is a quaint place essentially a motel on steroids and a standout in a chic town down trodden street that is self contained.

This facility is not ritzy but offers convenience and excellent value

The housekeeping is spotty.

This bed was comfortable and we slept comfortably.

There’s no hotel amenities so bring your own tissues.

This not the Ritz Carleton !

And bring plenty of pesos as the smaller shops do not take dollars or convert at extremely expensive discounts

Great boutique hotel, beautiful interior courtyard, spacious rooms, friendly and attentive staff throughout (reception, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping). Location within Sayulita is perfect: away from the 24-7 hustle & bustle of town centre, but within a 2 block walk. Also close to the beach and bus station. Able to book excursions through the concierge (Priscilla), who went out of her way to ensure our sons got to their pick up spot on time. Complementary daily yoga on the rooftop with Lise was wonderful; such a beautiful setting to start your day! Our package included breakfast, which allowed for a variety of menu items, both Mexican and Canadian (pancakes). Our server, Jonathan, was super accommodating and friendly. Kudos to José and Ampero at reception for responding to our many requests for assistance, including replacing used pool towels. On the downside, we were disappointed that smoking was allowed on the balconies, as both our neighbours, at some point, were smokers and tended to hang out on the balcony in the evenings. It can be difficult to find a spot by the pool after 1:30 pm, as all the lounge chairs are claimed by then. A few more more amenities in the room would be nice, e.g. reading lamp on the night table, dresser in master bedroom, more hangers in the closets. Also, a few more amenities in the kitchenette would be helpful, e.g. bottle opener, dish rack, dish towels, cutting board, vegetable peeler, etc.

Very good facilities, excellent decoration throughout the hotel. The included breakfast option is worth it, plus one of the young people who serves breakfast is very friendly and attentive. And Amparo Valencia was also very attentive and friendly, who explained to us that he has promotions for his frequent customers. The location is not very busy, without the hustle and bustle of the center, but everything is very close. We only found one detail on the base of the king size bed because it makes noise with the slightest movement while you are lying down.

Please read before booking! Here is a complete review of our stay 1/19-1/24 booked in the Presidential Suite (2/2 plus Kitchen). Our trip was originally supposed to be 4 people. When we arrived on 1/19, we were told our room was not ready and it would be another day until it was. We have read in previous reviews that this is a regular occurrence, so we were a little annoyed that it was happening to us as well. The room they put us in was a single room, no kitchen. Luckily, last minute, the other couple was not able to join us. Had they been able to, this would have been a huge problem! We were put into our original room the next day (1/20), however, the master room had a broken AC. We asked them to fix it while we were out. We realized upon waking the next morning (1/21) that the living room AC was broken, and asked them to fix it while we were out that day. When we got home that night, the living room AC was fixed, but now the Master was broken again. We asked them to fix it, but it never got done. So we spent the rest of our nights with no cold AC in the Master. The ceiling fan was also broken and would only go to the low setting. Other things to note: there are no washcloths provided, there are no knives in the kitchen except butter knives (which made it impossible to cut any food), no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen. So if you plan on using the kitchen, you will need to buy all of these things. Also, after day 2, hot water was very limited and a very slow water pressure, about half the shower head had water coming out. Pool is not heated and does not get sun, so very cold. One more thing, we got terribly sick day 2 of our trip. Not saying it was from our hotel food/water, but it was either that or two other places (Pineapple Paradise around the corner or Sayulita Cafe in town). When we checked out, we were told we were only going to be charged 1/20-1/24 since we did not have our room the first night. Its been over a week and we still have not been refunded the amount for the first night.

This hotel was amazing. When you walk in you’re greeted by staff members who are all very personable and helpful. There are not too many so you feel like you know everyone. Once you get out of the lobby, you’re welcomed by a well maintained beautiful pool and lounge area. The plants, papel picado, beautiful wooden furniture, and colorful paint make the place feel so warm and unique. The room itself also had a big comfortable bed (with great pillows), a beautiful frosted glass shower, and even a private toilet. The view out of our room was the best part. No matter where you’re located, you will have a view of the pool and beautiful outdoor decor. As for amenities, the pool was refreshing and never busy. Lots of iguanas like to hang out there as well. The restaurant tucked behind the pool had the best guacamole we had on this trip. I personally attended yoga everyday which is provided by the hotel and LOVED it. The setting was on a balcony on terracotta tiles with a palapa roof and the most relaxing morning vibes every day. Not to mention the instructor who is incredible and helps everyone personally, so if you’re a beginner like myself you will have a more than comfortable experience (she also will speak English if there are English speakers). Overall, this was a great place to stay and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to and hope we get to do so very soon again.

My wife and I spent the last 8 days at El Pueblito Sayulita. I highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons: value, rooms, restaurant/bar, service and location.

All of the service was fantastic including Patricio, Amparo but especially Jonathon who served us breakfast every morning by the beautiful pool and rented us a golf cart we used to cruise around town and adventure through the jungle.

The location is perfect as it is a 5min walk to the plaza and near north beach which is less crowded & less rocky.

I work remote and the internet worked well. I did notice a little slow down in the afternoons probably as folks returned from their day trips and logged on.

A couple of nitpicky suggestions: wash clothes would be great and coffee available from 7am. Maybe a couple of forks & spoons for the kitchen in our room for those late night leftovers.

We will definitely be back soon! Thank You El Pueblito Sayulita.

In general we had a great vacation. Sayulita is a beautiful town and we quite enjoyed ourselves.

The apartment was spacious and meant our needs. We had a second bedroom which allowed us to invite a guess at a minimul price of 400 pesos per night

Breakfast was included and the food was very good.

Housekeeping was good. The concierge was very helpful in arranging transportation and answering all of our needs

The kitchen was a little dated and the counter topwas cracked and in need of repairs.

The bathrooms were a little substandard and the water pressure was very low.

The pool water was very cold resulting in the young children using tge hot tub as their own private pool . Staff tried to remedy this by posting an adult only sign, but it wasn't inforced and the children continued to use it as a swimming pool . It got so dirty that it became unsafe to use it.

On the positive side, we had a great balcony that allowed us to spend quality time in this great weather.

With a few timely fixes, this could easily be rated a 4.

This is a totally adequate hotel but be sure to confirm what you booked when you arrive, as it felt like they deliberately tried to scam us. We booked a Master Suite Premium online (2 floors, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, balcony w/ view of pool) but when we were arrived we were put in the worst room in the hotel: last room on the bottom floor, dark, behind the bar, next to storage closet, no view, no wifi, shower didn't work properly and a light from hallway shone into the room all night. When we asked why we weren't in the room we reserved, they said there was nothing they could do but would move us to the correct room the next day and would include breakfast. We asked for a refund for the difference and they said someone tomorrow would take care of it.

They called us the next afternoon and we moved to the correct room which was a huge improvement, plenty of space. We asked for a refund for the difference in room price and again were told someone would refund us the following day. This continued our whole stay and we were never given a refund, which is why I am giving a lower rating.

That being said the location was excellent, easy walking distance to everything. The breakfast was decent, we only ate there once. The suite is the way to go, nice to have the balcony and 2 bathrooms. The pool was nice. Pool/beach towels were not available the majority of our stay. There was a festival going on one night which was quite loud so if that is a priority you may want to stay further outside of town. We did not find the front desk staff very friendly or helpful. I would recommend this as a good location, but be careful they give you the room you booked.

The property is lovely. The stone steps and tiled hallways are beautiful and we loved the balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were helpful. The restaurant has a nice breakfast outdoors. The location is close enough to take a short walk to any restaurant in town yet far enough from the hubbub in the evening to be quiet.

It is so close to being a great property, but the cold hot tub and unheated pool make it prettier to look at than to use. More importantly, the furniture is right down uncomfortable. There is no proper couch and the chairs are hard. It makes relaxing difficult because spending all evening in the room is not inviting. One of our showers worked and the other had a weak water flow. There are no kitchen towels or knives. In fact, towels are in short supply and one thing I had to request in person nearly every day from the reception desk.

With some attention to detail this could be a stellar hotel.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool!!! Air conditioning worked well with numerous ceiling fans! Reception was very friendly and helpful. Ensuite shower had very low water pressure so chose to shower in main bathroom. Pool was chilly so unable to do more than a quick dip to cool off. Hot tub was as cold as the pool so this was disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this quiet hotel, yet close enough to town for meals.
