When it comes to lodging in Salema there are limited choices and this one is the main hotel right on the beach. The town is small so everything is right out the door. The staff were friendly, the room was fine and sleep was good and quiet. I would stay here again. Most of the rooms have partial beach views only so ask if this is important to you. The only downside is they have no parking just for the hotel, all the surrounding parking is public and fills up fast so it could be a challenge to find a spot but they are all free. Lots of good restaurants close by. Good option if you are planning a stay at this lovely beach town.

Great location, right on the beach. Multigenerational family owned, great people, always willing to help. On site bar, say Hi to Valentin. Easy walking distance to 3 great restaurants that we know of. Well situated about halfway between Sagres & Lagos. Bring a cooler - no in-room refrigerators. Beds were great. Slept like rocks - could have been the wine.

Excellent location, excellent cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast didn't keep up with the standard, but it's not bad, mind you. The hotel is a few years old, but it has all the current amenities and you can even see that the bathrooms have been modernized. In short, I enjoyed the stay.

Despite being a hotel that is a few years old, it has adequate rooms and facilities with impeccable daily cleaning. TV with a variety of channels, wi-fi and air conditioning in the rooms. There was a mini fridge missing.
Regular breakfast, however the pies could be homemade.
Super available staff.
Location on the beachfront, close to restaurants and bars.
Very pleasant stay.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before and it is always great. The hotel has an excellent location and is always spotlessly clean. Since our last visit, it seems to have had all the bathrooms refurbished which is a brilliant addition. We will be back again.

Hotel very well located in the centre of the beach of Salema in the Algarve (between Lagos and Sagres). Much hygiene and sympathy from all employees. Hotel 30 meters from the beach with a good breakfast. Fair price. I loved and recommend. I will definitely come back.

It is not a state of the art modern hotel but it is exceptionally clean, family run hotel with lovely helpful staff and that means more. Exceptional location and all rooms have a sea view. This is our third stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

You can't ask for a better location - 30 seconds to walk to the beach, around the corner from the bus stop, a 2-minute walk to every restaurant in town (not that the town's very big). Room was great - had a balcony, small bathroom, air conditioning!, and a little TV. Breakfast was included and was delicious and fresh every day. Staff was very nice and spoke perfect English.

The price was definitely right - 60 euros/night in the middle of June. Don't know that you can get much cheaper than that anywhere in the high season.

Hotel does have wi-fi, but you can only access it in the lobby. Not a problem for us.

The only downside (which seemed pretty consistent throughout Portugal) was the beds were fairly hard - no good for my pregnant hips. Other than that, everything was great. I would definitely stay here again and would have happily stayed longer than our 4 nights.

This is the only true hotel in town and gets the job done. Rooms are clean and average size. Perhaps the smallest baths in the world outside of a cruise ship. Beds just ok. When this place was built, it must have been pretty great, but that was decades ago and showing its age. Needs a complete makeover. That said, the location is super, right at a beautiful beach. Each room has great views. We rated it very good because of location and we spent little time in the room. Parking is free but limited so finding a place to park in the summer or weekends a real problem. Business ideas: Bar should offer a happy hour and hotel should offer a beach special which includes beach chairs and umbrellas in overall rate. Breakfast was excellent.

Now I usually stay at high end properties. However I wanted this location. Location is great, view is great. Staff was fine. The hotel is basically clean but it is so run down that it’s not really clean. While staff is good, the hotel is badly managed, it’s being milked of its profit and nothing is being reinvested. It was cheap. I doubt if you can finder a better price that’s just across the street from the beach. I’m not knocking the hotel, you get what you pay for. Here you get a lot of location and view for the money.

There is a bus stop just a few meters from the hotel. I don’t know their hours of service, But it’s a big comfortable bus that stops at all the little towns along the coast.

On the day we departed I found a notice in the bedside drawer saying you can ask for beach towels at reception. A little late for us but might help someone else! ☺️

There is really only on-street parking. About a 5 or10 minute walk away, there's a lot where many people park. It's just a big empty space where people park if no on street parking.

El hotel no dispone de grandes espacios, tiene una edificación antigua, pero esa cuestión será más conveniente consultarla con Recepcion. Un saludo.
