Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for business. Seems pretty nice, but I didn't get to enjoy too much outside of my room, other than a nice drink at the bar. Beds were much too firm to my liking and I woke up frequently in paid or with appendages falling asleep. Rooms only come with a shower, which would normally be fine but I was there with my young child who only likes baths, so keep that in mind if traveling with children.

The hotel is nice enough, but something is off. Our junior suite looked like a Scandinavian -style residence Inn suite—not really special though the per night price was quite high. The bed was too soft The parking garage is confusing. Water in the room is $5. We tried having breakfast downstairs and after a long wait for the hostess to show up (who was making a latte for someone) we were told we had to have a reservation in spite of empty tables. (We had a great breakfast at Maggie’s family restaurant just up Lake Ave). I travel a lot for pleasure and business and know good properties. I would not choose to stay here again

I stayed here for 4 nights for work. The hotel is located in a lakeside area with high-end residential areas and tourist restaurants, so there were no security issues. The dining bar in the hotel was open until late every day, although it wasn't that late, but it was busy. Because it is an upscale area, there were no reasonably priced restaurants like McDonald's in the area. However, there were many locals walking their dogs and jogging early in the morning, and many people enjoying dinner in the evening, so I felt safe.

Booked this hotel as we are in area for wedding this weekend. It is not on the lake. There is a “lake-ified” strip shopping center opposite and then a freight rail train line and then the lake which is not visible The king room that’s supposed to have a lake view has a sliver way off to one side. The delivery trucks for hotel restaurant and other deliveries are constantly parked in front of main entrance making all sorts of beeping noises. The total for two nights for a basic king is almost $1500 and the room is at best like standard Marriott or Hyatt. It sure what the allure is but feeling “taken.” Buyer beware

Service was awful and no one seemed able to help. Room service took 1 hour and 30 minutes with initial ETA of 20 minutes. We were also charged for someone else’s meal ($100+) and no one seems to be able to follow up with the issue after a couple calls

Nice but overpriced. Don't waste your money on the breakfast package. Did not realize how restrictive it was (they won't even sub greens for hashbrowns) so it feels like you're overpaying for a very cheap breakfast when there are a ton of nice restaurants right down the block. For $400-500/night you'd expect the bed/breakfast option not to feel like perkins food. Light from bathroom shines into the room whenever it's on since there's a window in the shower.

Disappointing for $450/night. Area is walk-able, which is good because the shuttle they charge for was not available when we wanted it. Room was average. Others in our group stayed at airbnb or other property, much better value and experience.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. This past weekend we stayed in a suite to celebrate an anniversary weekend. Our only and largest problem was with room service and the restaurant, 925. We had gotten the champagne with flutes special. We called the restaurant to order in room breakfast. The 18-22 year old female was completely uninterested in actually taking our order. I asked if the orange juice can be brought up first so we can make mimosas and she said “no, we’ll bring it all together”….because this apparently is not a hospitality business…About an hour goes by and no word on our breakfast. I call down there and they tell me they tried to deliver it and no one answered the door. A few minutes later we hear the faintest knock on the door. I open the door and ask:
* “is this the same food that has been getting cold for 40 minutes?” Answer: “Yes”.
* “would you ever have tried to call us or redeliver?” “No”
* “so if I didn’t call, it would be sitting down there getting colder?” “Yes”
We ate our cold $100 breakfast with a $6 delivery fee and 24% gratuity while their entitled and bratty staff members went back to TikTok or whatever they do on their phones in between being inconvenienced by customers.

Absolutely abysmal service at every level. At check in they charged my cc $1400, $200 more than my booked total price; they explained this was to cover any potential incidentals. This of course is absurd: I’ve never had a Hotel charge me the full amount of the booking at check-in rather than at check out, particularly as I booked thru booking.com and payment is guaranteed by them through my credit card. second, the TV in the room didn’t work and they had nobody on hand to deal with it. Nobody! Third, we went into the restaurant for happy hour and ordered oysters. After 30 minutes (the place was empty) we had to order them again. The WiFi log in is ridiculously cumbersome: you fill out a form, they send you an email, you have to confirm via the email, etc., and of course you have to do this on every device. And lastly, they bombard you with unnecessary text messages endlessly.

This was our second visit to the Hotel Landing and the service, meals and accomodations were even better than the first! You also can't beat the location, which is centrally located in Wayzata and within walking distance to the lake.
This was our first get-away outing post-Covid19! The hotel has taken safety precautions very seriously while also maintaining their level of service and amenities and the staff was courteous and lovely. Their management has developed an operating approach that provides guests a full experience in a slightly tailored format from our first visit, including everything from the dining experience to the spa and fitness center.
The rooms at the Hotel Landing are extremely comfortable. They are large, well appointed and the linens and bedding are beautiful and luxurious. Throughout the weekend we had excellent service (when requested) from housekeeping. Sirilene and her team kept the rooms and all public areas very clean, including the fitness center.
Although we arrived rather late on a busy weekend we received a friendly greeting from Sarah at the front desk, and the restaurant was kind enough to accomodate a late night order for us.
The restaurant staff and menu were excellent, and we really appreciated Rebecca and the rest of the team. We always felt that we were in a safe environment but able to relax and enjoy delicious meals and service. They also have a great drinks and wine menu!
