Hotel's Favourite
We were so happy with the close proximity to the Mayo Clinic and the ease of getting to the clinic. This was in January and we so appreciated the skyway so we never had to wear bulky coats to get to the clinic. The entire staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful.

There is only a small parking lot on the premises ($16 parking charge) which cannot fit many vehicles at all. Overflow parking is a block away and very inconvenient. There was a nasty sewer smell coming from the shower drain, the toilet kept running, and the sliding bathroom

Were you able to take advantage of our valet parking to the ramp? Also, I am sorry about the smell. I hope that you were able to mention this to our front desk staff so that an engineer could visit your room right away to correct as issues? We had to stay in Rochester so we could be close to Mayo Clinic. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Each and every staff member we encountered was helpful and welcoming. Access to Mayo was extremely convenient via the skyway. We would definitely stay here again!

Hilton Garden Inn staff and facility were amazing! We were at Mayo Clinic for a week and needed to extend the stay due to testing and weather. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our hotel does not have shuttle service to and from RST, but there are many companies that can offer you service. Go Rochester and Yellow Cab are a few. They have counters at RST or you may call ahead and schedule a reservation.

No there is no fee as long as you can please let us know by 1pm that same day. There will be a fee if checking out after 1pm but if you just need to shorten your stay we understand. It is sometimes easier than trying to extend it. Deb Knox

Sure, due to availability sometimes this happens. I would recommend first that at check in you ask if a standard, non-accessible room is available and they will move you if possible. But to answer your question, the additional items would be hand rails/bars in the bathroom area and you may have a roll in shower instead of a tub.
