We stayed here at the beginning of September. What a beautiful Place, surrounded by trees, sunflower fields and peace. Thierry, our host was wonderful, it was more like staying with friends than a chambre d'hote. The pool was great, and heated!! We were the only people there for most of our stay and when we needed to stay an extra couple of nights because our ferry back to UK was cancelled there was no problem. Thierry doesn't speak much English, but between schoolgirl French and translating app on the phone it was fine!!

La Grange au Bois is a very nice and quiet property with heated pool. The whole family had a great time during our 6-day holiday stay. Stunning countryside offering nice food and wine. Very good breakfast and comfortable rooms. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and really made us feel at home!

We returned to La Grange au Bois recently and despite poor weather we found this an excellent place to stay. Thierry couldn't be more hospitable and helpful. The area is very calm and the rooms comfortable

8 of us spent last weekend at La Grange au Bois and it was great. The house has been beautifully refurbished and is comfortable. It's very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the owner, he looked after us as if we were members of his own family. We ate 3 evening meals and they were all 4 courses and very good. Highly recommended if you want peace and quiet.
