Cons
1. No resupply toilet tissue available. Front desk was very courteous but there was nothing that could be done. Something about local manager in a feud with district manager who was retaliating by denying toilet tissue supply. We wound up going out and purchasing toilet tissue ourselves.
2. Coffeemaker available but no supplies for it (filters, coffee, sweeteners). Front desk was very courteous but there was nothing that could be done.
3. No hot breakfast. Only prepackaged small muffins and oatmeal. Coffee was hot.
Pros
1. Very cheap price: 50% of their hotel competitors (but next time, I think we will pay the money).
2. Derek was very helpful in helping us escape the original room assignment that reeked of cigarette odor (suppose to be no-smoking building), and not adequately clean. The new room was clean, smelled fresh, and was odor free.
3. Free parking but fills up fast and only 2 handicapped spots.

First off, Hotel was booked and no one called to inform me, when I arrived man at the front desk told me he has just sold out when I booked and the only room available was one with a fridge that did not work. I was like whatever and took the room anyways. The shower was dirty, only 1 towel and pretty sure it was used, soap used, no shampoo/conditioner in the room at all. Also phone in the room didn't work, so I had to walk over to the front desk to ask for things that should've been in a clean room. I feel terrible writing a bad review because I did reserve it last minute and it was cheap but come on! A dirty room with a broken fridge, Front desk didn't even offer me any discounts or anything, didn't even try to accommodate me!

Dear bryannas261, please accept our apologies for your suite not being ready for occupancy when you checked into our hotel. It is a miscommunication between our housekeeping and the front desk team. As the suite is not made available for occupancy until the cleaning process is complete and it is inspected by a supervisor. Also, we are sorry for the lack of attentiveness you encountered at our front desk. We know a first impression is essential, and what you experience is not typical. Should your travels bring you back to the city, we would welcome the opportunity to have you stay with us again and receive a much warmer welcome along with our outstanding hospitality. Sincerely, Hotel Management

This is a very busy hotel and staff work very hard to keep things moving. I want to give a special call-out to Greg M. who works at both the 32 4th Ave and the 52 4th Ave locations. He was extremely helpful regarding the accommodations and questions I had about a bill and was always gracious and courteous and got back to me in a timely way. I very much appreciate his professionalism and his help.

The general manager Rebekah and staff are very helpful and friendly. We were very happy there during our stay. The property is located near the highway with nearby stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to our family and friends.

My experience at this location has made me never want to stay at another Extended Stay ever again. When we checked in there was no a room ready for us and then when we did get a room it was dirty. There were belongings from previous guests left behind, visible spills on surfaces, stains everywhere, the floors were dirty and sticky and the bathtub hadn't been cleaned. During our 34 night stay the hotel was falling into disrepair. The common areas and hallways were never vacuumed or cleaned once. There was often small pieces of trash or dropped candy that would sit in the same spot for a week. The laundry room kept being flooded and there were several broken machines. We had clothing shredded in the one working washer. The door handle to the fitness room was broken so that when you tried to open the door to leave the whole thing would come off in your hand and you couldn't open the door. At the end of our hall there was a broken AC unit that looked like it had been ripped off the wall and left there in pieces. The key card reader on the rear door of the hotel also did not work. The fire alarm went off 6 times during the last 2 weeks and at one point it went off 3 times in 24 hours. At no point did the hotel manager make any announcement or send any communication about what was happening or if we should be concerned about the increasingly frequent alarms. The font desk is always empty regardless of the time. Every Sunday while we were there our key cards would stop working and we would be locked out of our room. If that is standard policy that was never communicated. Additionally, we paid for 30 days of enhanced WiFi which was terrible quality and would constantly go down only to find out when the 30 days were up and we were back on the free WiFi that the speeds were exactly the same. Overall, this location is poorly run, very dirty, not well maintained, and over all a very unpleasant place to stay. I would discourage anyone from staying there.

We made a reservation stipulating a king size bed. When we arrived we found the hotel very tired looking. Our suite was minuscule and the bed was a queen. We were told there were no king suits, so I had to sleep on a pull out couch, which was so uncomfortable that sleep wasn’t an option. Next to water boarding, this sleeper couch could be used as a substitute by the CIA.
The grab and go breakfast was a packet of instant oatmeal served in a paper coffee cup by adding hot water.
When I checked out they were unable to print me an invoice so that I could get a rebate for the lower cost room.
To sum up in a few words, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

I recently had some very serious issues arise with family and had a week in limbo to where I needed a place to stay. I was going through a lot at the time trying to process everything and was not thinking clearly locking my key in the room more than one occasion. Alex and everyone were always upbeat and understanding. I really felt the genuineness of the staff as they always made me feel welcomed. Whether it was getting my daughter and I real plates when we ordered pizza, new towels/linens when needed, or the maintenance guy getting me the plunger right away for a clogged toilet, the overall experience has been 2nd to none. I am checking out tomorrow but will not forget this experience when needing or recommending a hotel in the future. The manager here is very lucky to have such a wonderful staff!! This is how a hotel should be operated!! Once again, thank you all for going above and beyond accommodating me!!

When we first walk in there was an smell that reminded me of a hot sheets motel. When we got to the room I could tell it was not going to be a good stay. I had to use the bathroom and first thing I noticed was there was something that looked like hair or a bug on the towel, the tub had hair all in it the toilet had a small poop stain on the back of the seat the room looked as it had not been cleaned in months. Towels had a yellow stains on them. The pulled out couch mattress and what we found was something that you can not make up, a finger nail on the bottom of the mattress food crumbs on it the stains oh my good food wrappers and crumbs behind the it I mean it was a complete mess. If it was not for the fact that my wife and I are here to see our daughter in school we would have left. The night guy did bring up some cleaning supplies but that’s not our job to have to clean a room up that I paid for for a weekend. The morning clerk 1st took about 15 minutes before she got to the front desk and then was very dismissive when I asked to speak with the manager and said she will not be here then she said I will text her to see if she was coming in. Then said that she will have housekeeping address the room issues or see if she could move us!!??? I think you get the picture of what we had to deal with.

Everyone reading this pay attention, DO NOT STAY HERE ON A BET!. The most disgusting place I've ever had the displeasure of briefly staying at, I'm still fighting the chanrge because we walked out and found another hotel in the wee hours of the morning. The smell of the hallway and room is putrid, not smelly, freaking putrid! Run down, filthy and smelled like old burned cooking oil. Oh and the nice surprise of blood on bathroom floor, not a serial killer amount, just drops, but cmon now? Go anywhere but here

It is a very well maintained hotel with everything that we needed. When we walk in the room you can smell the fresh Cleanliness!!!!The design of the hotel is a bit dated but it did not affect our pleasant experience. The staff at the front desk was helpful and obliging. Everyone in this hotel are very friendly including the maintenance guys! The manager inquiry about our stay I was pleasantly surprise her going out her way to inquire. She mentioned I would get a survey I haven’t received yet. A great group.
I do have a complain they do charge 100 incidental and our room key kept on deactivating which was kind of annoying also the heater was on we couldn’t turn it off.

There are a number of restaurants within walking distance but we didn't go to any of them. They appeared to be more expensive than their value promised. They are Bonefish (seafood), Osteria Posto Italian), Relish Burger Bistro (burgers at hotel prices). There are also standards like Dunkin' Donuts and D'Angelos pizza, etc. A short drive brings you yo Naked Fish which has a reasonable menu at reasonable prices. Just across MA-128/I-95 is Umi (Japanese/Asian)--they deliver. It is about a 10-minute drive to the Moody Street/Main Street area in Waltham Center. There are many excellent restaurants here with varied cuisines.
