Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Very clean place. Rooms are big enough and looked spotless. Halls had a new carpeting I think. It is very quiet too. My windows were facing I-95 but there was no noise whatsoever with the closed windows. Plenty of parking too. I used a gym in the morning. It had a limited equipment, but was good enough for a quick exercise. Looked very clean as well. I didn’t have a breakfast here as there was a dunkin donunts at the gas station for a quick coffee and muffin. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with 2 dogs and were happy to pay the dog fee of $50 for our stay (not per day or per dog). When they heard that one of our dogs is a therapy dog, meaning she visits hospitals and senior buildings, they removed the charge from our bill which I thought was very gracious. There was also and enclosed dog park, down the street next to the neighboring hotel. The room was clean, with a huge TV, Wi-Fi was good for streaming without having to pay for the faster option. The exercise room and equipment was clean, spacious, with newer equipment. All in all it was a lovely stay.

I have extended family in the area and this is the preferred hotel in the area. There are several options (some even in the Marriott family) but for the price you are getting the best bang for the buck. The rooms are very spacious, I would argue more spacious than other options. Walkable a few restaurants but if you are staying in this town you are going to be doing some driving (most likely into Boston) which is very accessible.

I had a big presentation for a client and was put in a handicap accessible room. I didn’t really care, just needed a good night sleep and a shower to get on my way and to do my job. They managed to almost go 0 for 2. There was construction into the night and my room faced the road. Thankfully it ended when I went to sleep. But then the shows didn’t work. I told the guy at the front desk and he kind of shrugged and remarked “oh yeah you probably got a handicap accessible room.” So beware that’s the norm and if you require such accommodations, unless you can bend your body in ways which I hadn’t for years to shower under a faucet while getting ready for the presentation of your career, I don’t recommend. Also the location sucks if you want to venture out. It has bad traffic patterns and is not easy to get to a neighboring restaurant or hotel.

Pros: Very clean, nice room, friendly staff, super comfortable beds.
Cons: The only breakfast available was a vastly overpriced and understaffed Starbucks. There was only one very polite young employee at the front. She was clearly overworked , and I had a long wait as there was a long line. .
Would I go back ? Yes if they brought back free breakfast, no other wise. I Spent over $40- on breakfast for two. A major and standard perk of staying in Courtyard is free breakfasts.

Dear 'businessfuntravel', Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We appreciate all feedback, positive or negative. I want to apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding the food & beverage offerings of the Courtyard Marriott brand. All Courtyards nationwide have the Bistro restaurant as their entity for breakfast and dinner for guests, at an additional fee to guests. Although some Courtyards may at times offer different promotional rates that include breakfast, it is not the standard for the Courtyard Marriott brand. In addition, details regarding our offerings to guests (as every hotel has) are located on our webpages with details regarding the menu offerings and hours of operation. Again, my apologies for any miscommunications that may have occurred prior to your booking and arrival and thank you for sharing your experience with us. Daniel Gregorio General Manager

Platinum Member- So tired of these hotels that control the air conditioning. Room was hot! No matter what the temperature AC was on. Air would come on, cool then turn off. Room would get stifling again. My son goes to school around here. This hotel is off the list of places we’d stay when visiting. Let your customers choose their own room temperature!

This Marriott was ok for our night visit to Boston. There is no fresh on site restaurant. Grab and go breakfast. Pool was a bit of a disappointment. Very small for the size of hotel and not clean. Had to notify management the pool was way too foggy and smelled of chemicals. Not the worse stay but probably will look elsewhere on our annual trips to Boston. Room was nice and big but seemed to missing something. No outlets on the entire window side of the room was problematic when traveling with 4 people looking to charge devices…..

Since covid re-opening, they decided that breakfast is just cold box cereal, muffins in plastic, nothing fresh or healthy. Other restaurants are open, why not yours ?

Otherwise, the hotel is a nice one and easy to find, right off the highway. I just miss their former hot meals that were very good.

The room was clean and very well laid out. We had a king-size room which included a sofa. Bathroom was comfortable. Everything was laid out by someone with common sense. Lobby and common areas were clean and otherwise as expected.

Carpet could use replacing and there was a loud noise from the shower in the room above in the morning.

Do you offer a shuttle to the "T"?
Answer from CYWalthamGM
Waltham, Massachusetts
Dear 'kalentkow', Unfortunately our shuttle only runs within a 3-mile radius of the hotel (basically just the Waltham area), so we are not able to drive to the T, however, there is a train station stop in downtown Waltham that we can drive to--visit the MBTA website, click Rail, then select the Fitchburg line to see the times for the Waltham stop. Please note that our shuttle only runs Monday-Friday from 7am-11am (predetermined times that must be signed up for with the Front Desk) and again from 3:15pm-7pm. I hope this information was found to be useful!

Do you provide free shuttle service to Brandeis University and/or Bentley University?
Answer from CYWalthamGM
Waltham, Massachusetts
We do have a complimentary shuttle that can bring our guests to and from Bentley or Brandeis. This shuttle runs Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am - 11am and 3pm - 7pm--the morning hours run on a schedule and goes to any company within a 3-mile radius of the hotel. You can sign up for the shuttle at the front desk. Don't hesitate to call us at 781-890-2800 for more details!
