Detailed Reviews
We chose this hotel because it was convenient to the places we needed to go and pet friendly. We do prefer IHG properties when traveling and this one had recently been re-done. The room was in nicely done & convenient for us with our small dog BUT clearly the bed choice was not appropriate for the size room. There was approximately 1' of space between wall & bed on one side, same between second bed and heating unit. About 2' between the beds and the same between end of beds and desk/bureau unit. Two adults could NOT pass each other. We had to back up to find space to let the other person by. This is not a room meant for 2 queen beds. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom "all new" looking and spacious enough. It was quiet and comfortable otherwise. On the other hand, we are used to the type of breakfast offered at Holiday Inn Express hotels and it is usually quite adequate. The dining area was nice but that is it. The food every morning was almost inedible. There was nothing that was hot. The toaster barely worked. The attendant did not come out often to check on things. Nothing more unappetizing than cold scrambled eggs and sausage. We would consider staying here again but if the food is the same- you certainly do not get your money's worth with the "breakfast included"! Location is OK and lots of restaurants nearby - that is a plus.

Hotel's Favourite
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the last few years. It is always very clean and the staff is always very welcoming. Special thanks to Jordan for his help checking us in this time! I really appreciate the work they do in keeping the hot drinks area well-stocked throughout the day, since I often crave a hot cocoa after a long day of fighting Boston traffic. Highly recommend!

This was a very pleasant visit do to the staff members who were uniformly helpful. When I asked that my daughter and her husband be given a room on the same floor as us, the staff member was able to give them the room right next door. Because of Covid, things are not the same as they were a couple of years ago, but we were always able to get fresh towels and coffee pods. Staff members were not masked, but they were behind plexiglass. Breakfast was also good.

Based on the photos and reviews, we were expecting a better stay. Perhaps the rooms elsewhere in the hotel were a bit nicer? We had a first floor room. The room itself was fine, but there were a bunch of little things that added up to a non-stellar stay.
Our biggest problems were related to the bathroom. The bathroom seemed designed by someone who was completely unbothered by anyone knowing what was going on in there. The toilet is angled against the wall, and seemed to amplify any noise made in there. The door was frosted glass, so sounds and blaring light would come out whenever someone was in there. And of course, no lock to keep anyone out. Unique to our room, the bathtub was stopped up. You stood in a pool of your own wastewater that drained minutes after the shower was over. Also, no bars of soap are provided, only squirt bottles of liquid soap.
A little less expensive than neighboring properties which we would probably consider in the future. Not sure it’s worth saving the money.

Dear DesmondBono, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your candid feedback. We use guest feedback such as yours when planning for future updates and renovations, and will definitely consider your comments for upcoming projects. Additionally, I apologize for the slow-draining/clogged tub. I am sorry that the issue was not caught and fixed before your arrival. Our maintenance team is on duty 7a-11p everyday to take care of any routine plumbing issues, so please do not hesitate to alert our staff so that we can remedy the problem. We strive to provide all our guests with a five-star stay, and I am sorry that we fell short during your visit. If you return to the Waltham area, we hope you will give us another chance to provide a better experience. Happy holidays and safe travels! Kaitlyn T. General Manager

We stayed here mid-week in March. The room was clean and neat but small. We were on the front side of the building (room 119) and had hardly any space to walk in front of the bed and there was only a desk chair!! Our adult son had a room on the back side of the hotel (across the hall from us- RM 120) and had much more space and a lounge chair on the side!! Size was an issue for us. But we choose this hotel as we were traveling with our 9 pound dog and they are 'pet friendly' (well, at a cost of $50). The bathroom was large and I was glad to see that they had a tub/shower (I like tubs!). Everything was spotless. I did appreciate that they have a printed TV channel listing and large tv (I find it hard to believe not every hotel has this!). I did enjoy their breakfast too. The selection was great- fresh oatmeal, pancakes, eggs w/ veggies, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, danish, muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs, etc etc! The breakfast staff kept the meal stocked and the area clean. I also love having my USA Today to read at breakfast! The location was good and easy to get to and easy to get to places we needed to go in town. The hotel has a gym, store for candy/food/personal needs and business center too. The room had a Kuerig, fridge, and safe. The only reason for 4 stars is the size of our room. The king size bed just took up all the space!

We arrived at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning too tired to continue our trip home. The night manager was friendly and accommodating and happy to help us. The room was clean, modern and exceptionally comfortable. Room darkening shades allowed us to sleep late and refresh. Coffee was available in the room. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but varied and plentiful with hot options. This hotel epitomizes the value and friendliness that one expects from Holiday Inn.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet hotel. Desk clerks are professional. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything one might need. Large bathroom had a great shower (tub/shower) with very good water pressure. Breakfast was as expected and sufficient. There’s a good view of a reservoir from the breakfast room, and I assume from the rooms on the back of the hotel. Route 95 is a moment or two away.

We choose this hotel because of close proximity to Boston with free self parking.
Hotel itself is clean with new decor, price is affordable. Lobby smelled nice. Location near corporate offices.
Breakfast was standard, nothing memorable. Pillow kinda sad and thin.
Too bad the room next door smoke marijuana all night and the smell permeated to ours.
Overall a good hotel for its price range.

My wife and I stayed here on a quick 3 night trip to visit some of the historic sights in MA, including the very close Lexington and Concord battlefields. The property and our room were very clean. The included breakfast was good quality for a basic budget property. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. All and all this property delivered on my expectations for this kind of hotel and at a very reasonable rate.

The rooms were great. Firm mattress which I like. The breakfast wasn’t to hot. There was breakfast sausage that needed to be cooked longer, there was eggs, turkey sausage I did not try, toast, muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, oat meal, coffee and juice. The parking was all around the hotel. The rental car I had was all bang up from people opening and scraping the side of it with there doors because they can’t drive. I am glad I purchase rental insurance.

I don't know this information, but the hotel could provide it for you.
Yes, the wifi was pretty good.
We offer a shuttle to local offices and points of interests within 3 miles of the hotel. Our shuttle operates Monday through Friday from 7am-11am and 3:15pm-6:45pm. The shuttle does not operate on weekends. The shuttle can be booked with our front desk to ensure availability.
According to their web site (and I quote) "We offer business travelers complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius to area companies." While staying there, I didn't need a shuttle, thus hasn't verified that option.
