Guests enjoy the inviting atmosphere and the value offered through competitive rates and complimentary amenities. Detailed Reviews
We had a stay here for a quick trip to Boston. The price of the hotels were much more reasonable than being actually in Boston and only about 20-25 minute drive in so it was definitely worth the savings.
We needed a 2 bedroom suite which this hotel so not offer, however the 1 bedroom does have connections to the King studio, so in essence it becomes becomes a 2 bedroom. Thankfully we used this arrangement because the studio did not come with a full kitchen, only a mini fridge. Not the biggest deal but was a bit of a pain for us, since we were expected to be able to utilize the kitchen after the kids went to sleep, which we were unable to do.
Upon checking in I asked about house keeping. They informed me that it is every other day. Since we were there 3 nights, it would be cleaned only once. Ok no problem. We come back on the first day to find 1 out of our 2 rooms were cleaned. Not only was it cleaned, all our reusable baby food container that has been washed and were drying on the counter had been thrown away. Took 3 follow ups with the front desk until they finally admitted they spoke with the housekeeper, and it was their fault and handed me cash for it. We did not receive housekeeping again the remainder of time we were there (meaning one room was never cleaned), and no one could explain why the cleaning was not as I was told.
We met some friends at the hotel for dinner one night. We picked up pizza and asked the front desk if we could eat it in the breakfast area since the room is a bit crowded and they said absolutely. At that time however the bar was open which meant the breakfast area was used for that. The woman at the bar told me we cannot be in there without buying a drink. Not what we were told but whatever, I bought a beer and the 6 of us could stay there, great. A little pricey of a beer for a Hyatt House (I think $8 for a bud light).
Overall the hotel was fine. The customer service was definitely lacking, but the rooms were functional. Would consider staying again, but would definitely think twice about it.

Three stars is being generous. From the outside the Hyatt House seems up to date and well cared for but after staying there for three days I think differently. It started upon check-in when a gentleman checking me in seemed less than enthusiastic about either checking me in or his job. When done checking me in I asked him what temperature the pool is at and he putting quite bluntly that the pool has not opened for the season. As for the room, it is very large with a kitchen, living room and the separate bedroom, which was very nice. But this is where I started finding issues, first of all someone put a dirty glass in the cabinet and I almost drank from it the first night in the dark, the device that locks the shower soap/shampoo/conditioner we open and thus people could put something in the bottles other that what should be in there. After the first full day at the hotel our room was not cleaned, so I went down to the front desk to ask if they are supposed to clean the room nightly but was told only if we ask for it, otherwise it is every other day or so and I should have asked for it to be cleaned if we wanted it. The bed, good thing I like being close to my wife otherwise we would have had a problem as the bed is well used and slopes towards the center. Lastly, as I appreciate breakfast being included it was the worst free breakfast I have ever had the opportunity to try to eat, ended up throwing it out and going to a restaurant to eat. You might ask if I spoke to the front desk agent upon check out and I had intended to but she was on the phone with what seems like a personal call (not positive) and just checked me out and kept on with her conversation. Would I stay there again, NO.

We traveled to Boston for a graduation ceremony and found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the accommodations at the hotel. Our time in the room was limited to sleeping and enjoying breakfast, as we were busy exploring Boston and spending time with family. The room turned out to be a small suite, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the necessary amenities one could need.
Although the room had a small kitchenette, we did not make use of it during our stay. The hotel was about a $45 Uber ride away from downtown Boston, taking us approximately 20 minutes to reach our destination. While there were a few minor maintenance issues, they were not significant enough to detract from our overall experience.
The hotel also featured a bar, which we did not have the opportunity to visit. The breakfast buffet offered a standard selection, with the option of custom omelets for those interested. Additionally, there were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, all of which appeared to be of high quality.
If we were to return to Waltham, we would likely choose to stay at this hotel again.

Room was fairly nice, with a few caveats. The beds were small and crammed directly into a corner. The person against the wall had to craw out over another sleeper. Beds were fairly uncomfortable. If the door was closed between bedroom and living area, the living area got very cold (with AC) while the bedroom was too warm. The shower had a handy dispense for shampoo / conditioner / shower gel, but the shower gel was empty. Not a big deal, but inconvenient if you got into the shower expecting to use it. Breakfast was good. Room was fairly quiet, but slamming doors woke me up.

This was our first HH experience. We "upgraded" to a King suite that has a full kitchen, a separate living space with a TV, and a separate bedroom with a TV. The room furniture is very dated and the walls look like painted concrete. The carpet is from the 1980s....The front elevator was broken, so we had to haul all of our bags to the rear elevator. The positive is that the full breakfast was included in the price, and parking is free. Won't be returning.

I was very impressed with this Hyatt House location. The rooms were clean and up to date and the front desk staff recognized my status immediately and even at Check out. They offered me bottle water and check in and checkout even without being asked, which is incredibly rare even as a Globalist. I will definitely select this property again for that little touch of service and recognition.

The Hyatt House greatly exceeded our expectations for a mid-range hotel in the Boston area. We had a king suite which was the perfect size and layout for our family of 3 (could easily accommodate 4). The hotel had everything we needed and didn't waste money on things we didn't. Free and easily accessible wifi, kitchen in the room, pool, gym - we used all of these and all were in good condition and just what we needed. They have a new Peloton bike in the gym. The building is on the older side and it was busy, but we were not kept awake by noise, which is a huge consideration for us. The breakfast was much better than offered at comparable hotels. We would have used the grills and grill area but ran out of days. Really good value for money. Wish the pillows were better! We will be back.

Hello. I would like to address some unfortunate issues that I had over this weekend at one of your hotels. I booked a room at the Hyatt House in Waltham on 03/16 until 03/17. My room was a King Suite which was suppose to be fully equipped with cooking utensils etc. However it was not that case. The few pans we had were dirty and not usable. The pans had Teflon Chips flaking and mold. I called the front desk asking for a clean pan and a cookie sheet. I was told that they would look for the items I requested. Approximately 20 minutes later I was given a skillet pan that was also in bad shape. So it was apparent that I could not cook. The water temperature was horrible. From Luke warm to cold. I called again to report the issue. A maintenance person came to my room #219. He went under the sink and checked the valve handles. I explained to him it's a water heater issue. He said it wasn't and he would look into it. The next morning the water temperature was the same. Couldn't even take a shower. I also reported that the shower glass door would open and the floor was sustaining alot of water. Bathroom towels were used to dry up the floor. Then my check out time was at noon. And at 11:20 my door was knocking asking to come in to clean after there was a privacy notice hung on the door. All noted to management. Understandably this was not a pleasant stay. Especially the water temperature issue. Thank you.

I stay at the Hyatt hotels often. Some staff even know me by name now. I choose the Boston/Waltham location because I don't have to pay the price of a downtown Boston hotel, but I can get to downtown Boston easily from this location. I hope that Hyatt does not use this remark as evidence that they can raise prices from this location. The breakfast is subpar since I have a gluten allergy. The rooms are clean and nicely smokefree. Somethings do not work. For example at my last stay the room door knob was jammed and it never got fixed.

The fridge in the kitchen was not balance and had water leaking from the freezer.
The water wasn't hot on the 1st night and you to request your room to be clean 24hrs in advance but that was difficult when you check in on Friday at 3pm and you want your room clean on Saturday.
if you decide to stay bring some cleaning supplies and a bag of ice and can't forget nothing to wash the dishes so bring some dish washing liquid as well.

I’d definitely ask! I heard two dogs barking in a room when I was walking down to breakfast if that helps? Traveling with fur babies is a necessity at times!
When we were there, I asked and was told no. This service is used only M-F and during certain hours within a certain radius.
Lots of renovations are underway... lobby, bar area, rooms, outside landscaping and painting, they’ve been very busy. We were there in June and the manager told me that I wouldn’t recognize the pla6 months due to the renovations and staffing changes.
I just have their phone number 1-781-290-0026
No The hotel pool closes in the fall when it gets cold. I don’t think any hotel in Massachusetts has an outdoor heated pool in the winter
