Our second time here visiting family in the Boston area. Overall the place is a great value. We had a 2 bedroom suite and a 1 bedroom suite, loved having the full kitchen and the extra space. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was fully stocked and even had dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Elly at the front desk was welcoming and put our rooms as close together as possible. The rooms are spacious, beds were clean and comfortable, but the decor needs a serious upgrade.

Two years ago we were here and the rooms needed updating, but unfortunately they were still slightly musty and worn looking. Old ugly carpet, uncomfortable couch, dresser drawers broken and off-track, sliding mirror door off track, and our walk-in shower leaked so badly it was like a small pond on the bathroom floor every time we showered!

On a positive note, the daily free breakfast was great. Eggs, toast, bagels, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, bananas and oranges, yogurt, juice. There was something for everyone and we filled up for the day. And the parking was plentiful and well-lit.

The front desk staff were friendly and didn’t even mind when we stayed in the lobby watching the World Cup and playing cards until midnight! We also enjoyed taking a dip in the pool this trip, although the whole separate key at the front desk is a bit of an annoyance and the pool towels stored in an ugly old plastic tub was a bit of a disappointing surprise.

I would have loved to given this Residence Inn a five star review, but it’s just not quite there. Hopefully room updates are scheduled soon and we would definitely consider staying there again.

After staying 2 nights to visit friends/family in the vicinity, we were surprised how the exterior of this property is in need of a serious renovation. Rotted trim work, peeled paint, rusted stairwells, and stained sidewalks greet us throughout the property. I’m sure in years past this property was a shining star but now it’s a tired worn-out property drastically in need of some TLC.

On the flip side, our room (while dated) was clean and in good order. Bed was comfortable and bathrooms clean. Water pressure very adequate in the shower. Even though our room faced I495, the noise level was minimal.

The location of the property is ideal and the breakfast fine. Breakfast staff was very attentive to keeping the buffet stocked and surroundings clean. Front desk staff we encountered during our stay were polite and attentive. Exercise room was clean and adequate to provide for a good workout.

Overall we would be surprised if Marriott corporate office is not concerned with the overall external structural appearance of this property to let the owners continue to carry the Marriott name. While we cannot say this property missed the mark in all categories, it did not meet our expectations of what a Marriott property should aesthetically present to its customers upon arrival.

It was a great stay but the staff is attentive since we needed maintenance on the refrigerator since it wasn’t cold but freezer was. Comfy bed. No usb plugs near bed but plenty of outlets. Close to interstates but not easy to find since the big sign is hidden from the road and there is nothing from the main road. The small sign was way to the left which is not easy to see for the driver.

Super depressing and run down. Rotting door frames, cracking paint, low ceilings, cheap sliding windows that fog up with AC on, stained lampshades, sagging couches. It looks like they have tried to revamp the place, but maybe needs a bit of a more serious approach.

AandN , I am very disappointed to hear that you found our hotel to be so disappointing. I am sorry to hear that the stay did not meet your expectations. Covid -19 has been difficult on the staff and the hotel, but we feel that with each passing day the hotel continue to improve both the product and the guest service element. We hope you return but we truly apologize for your subpar stay. Have a great summer and stay safe. Regards, PeterC Hotel manager

We booked this hotel under the assumption it had a pool and a hot tub. When we reserved it we were not told it was “seasonal” the room smelled weird, the entire hotel smelled weird. Customer service is subpar, when you let them know your concerns they basically brush it off like it’s nothing. Breakfast smelled fine but looked disgusting. There are a lot of things that need improvement. The thermostat in the room didn’t work, you can try to set it all you want but apparently they like to cook their guests. When I woke up it was 86° in my room and we had set it to a crisp 65°. They don’t offer anything to you other than crap coffee in the room (unless of course you want to go to the lobby and overpay on items you can get across the street at the gas station for cheaper). All in all I would never stay here again.

To be fair in this review, there are a few good benefits about this place. It has free breakfast, which is nice because the area doesn’t have a lot of other dining options. Staff was really nice and helpful, I had no complaints about the people at all. There is also a full fridge and microwave which is useful. Linens/towels and beds were ok.

However, the place is old and could use a huge update. It’s not very nice, but it’s a place to sleep if you need one I guess. In my opinion, this place felt like a motel.

The place is quite old and kind of falling apart. The floor in my room was sunken in places, so the carpet had big divots in it. Paint was peeling everywhere, and there was a lot of rust. Walls and windows are thin. The layout is labyrinthine. And rooms face a busy road and/or the highway, so it is constantly loud.

From a safety perspective, I did not like that my door opened to the outside rather than on an enclosed hall, since it could be approached without a key to the hotel.

I also noticed that the air conditioning turns on and off at random, and changing the thermostat didn’t do anything. Woke up really hot every morning because it didn’t run, even if I set it to a max/min temperature the night before.

The room also was just... not clean, and this is my biggest issue with this place. The shower was filthy, with visible dirt and other people’s hair left on the walls. I also regularly got jump-scared* by spiders and cockroaches in the room. There was a huge spiderweb in the bedroom corner and it had clearly been there for a while, which should've been my first clue. I also noticed that every day, there were big bags of trash just randomly left in the walkways/hallways for hours at a time.

In the end, I checked out of my room as soon as I could because I didn't want to be there longer than I had to. It just felt gross.

*A weird side note: the light outside my door attracted flies and moths too, which got sucked into the room by the air current whenever I opened the door. They seemed to like the room more than I did, at least.

Horrible hotel in need of a ton of updates. Bathtub rusting. Floor tiles are loose. Carpet baseboard is no longer glued and falling over. Front desk technology is half working. One front desk computer is not working . The card scanner on the other computers is not working. Carpet in the room needs stretching. Outside of building needs maintenance. I could go on.

Exterior of hotel looks awful, metal posts holding up balconies and stairwells are completely rusted.
Included breakfast was not fit for a dog. Bacon was burnt black, no OJ, no cups for coffee, plates were 5” in diameter, no butter, waffle iron took six minutes to cook a 4” waffle, bananas were grey brown, ran out of room temperature scrambled eggs.
Marriott quality has gone over a cliff.

PLMESQ, Thank you for your feedback, with the pandemic of the last year the scheduled redo of the stairwells was delayed (they are safe but difficult to look at). We are currently the only hotel that has attempted to do the buffet in our area. I'm very sorry it did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your business, in the future please bring your critique directly to us so we can take care of it immediately. Thank you again for your very direct feedback , we will use it to improve our service and product. regards, PeterC Hotel manager

Rooms were booked well over 2 years ago for a wedding. You would think a block of rooms would all be together but they weren't. Coming in after a local wedding, we were put in building 11 room 21. Everyone else was scattered among all the mini buildings. This was not what was expected!
Tired after a long day, we went to our room and immediately could smell the cat pee! It was so disgusting! What were we going to do at 2 am when we were overtired and there was nowhere left to park? We opened the window to let some air in but then the highway noise filtered throughout the rest of the morning. Hardly slept and couldn't wait to get out of there.

A HUGE thank you to Samantha G....I came into the hotel frustrated and stressed (My own fault) and Samantha helped me resolve the issue I was having with calmness and respect. The hotel was clean and equipped with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. During my stay we had a pretty crazy snow storm, and maintenance did a good job keeping up with the snow removal. The room rates were very reasonable. I will absolutely seek a Residence Inn from now on while traveling for work or pleasure
