We stayed here twice, coming and going from Logan Airport. It's got a lot to like -- location, convenience, facility, people. Comfortable beds, reasonable price, beautiful ocean view. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this new SpringHill Suites on 7/27/2022. We were in Room 406 which faced towards 500 Ocean Ave Apartments that includes 2 outdoor restaurants which were both busy. We were surprised at how quiet the room was. We did not hear the restaurant noise & music or any airplanes. The room had a couple of deficiencies in the bathroom. Specifically, the toilet is not securely installed and there apparently no fan to whisk away steam and odors. Lastly, the shower water pressure was horrible. I have a low flow shower head at my home and this was way worse than that (perhaps a blockage). I failed to get one of the business cards at the front desk and later I called the front desk asking for the GM voice mail to report the issue and I hadn't finished my message and it got cut off. The Marriott website doesn't have an email for the property either. Despite the bathroom issues, I do plan to give the SpringHill another chance because of the great location, the fact that the "T" is right behind the building and the pleasure of being at the beach and super close to the airport. Last thing - if driving, when you first pull up, it is a bit confusing. There isn't really a front entrance as you would expect. It is best to just drive behind the hotel and go into the parking deck and then go to the lobby. Overall, a really nice hotel.

We apologies that you had a few hick-ups during your stay, thank you for pointing the issues in your room. We will have our Engineering department look at the issues as we haven't had any complaints on water pressure or the toilet. Could be a specific issue with that room. First time visit to Boston for our family and we were thrilled to find this newly built hotel right on the beach. It was clean & the staff was very friendly & helpful. I read a bunch of reviews before booking & all seemed to be positive despite a few things which I’ll detail below. Positives - on the beach, Starbucks on site, 3 restaurants & rooftop style bar provided good entertainment & food options. The T train station is directly behind the hotel for easy access to the city. 15 minute ride at most. The hotel restaurant serves big portions, the food was very good and the staff were friendly. Plus a great view of the beach. Parking in the garage was east & accessible. Free parking on the street but good luck finding a spot, beach area is very busy most the time. Pool was big but chilling - not heated (at least when we were there) There is not much to do with kids (besides the ocean). There are no local shops or souvenir stores of any kind. We found a cute ice cream shop down the road, but that was it. Pain points - rooms were clean but setup strange. The bathroom is in the center of the room which creates less space. The door is frosted and let’s through a ton of light. Wouldn’t be an issue normally but the beds are directly across from it so if someone uses it in the middle of the night it’s like the lights were just turned on in the room. We had a family of 5 & there were only 2 full size towels stocked. The shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower were all empty upon arrival. We used the pull out sofa bed but had to request the bedding be sent up from the front desk. Breakfast included to me means there will be options available for the entire time breakfast is offered, however this is not the case. All 3 days and at all different times we made our way to the free breakfast to find 0 options. The hot breakfast sandwiches were never out, seems they can’t keep them stocked. It was frustrating to say the least & left us having to order Starbucks each morning (costly $$!) As stated before, I read about all these things prior to and was hoping they would have figured it out by the time we went but alas that was not the case. I think breakfast along with the extra towels & stocked amenities is an easy fix if they read these reviews. No hotel is perfect, but this place does have the potential to be great. We’d definitely stay here again, but definitely packing breakfast food as a back up.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for five nights on an east coast road trip. The hotel is new and very clean. Employees were helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the location if you are visiting Boston on a budget. The parking is cheap and easy in an out. We decided to visit Cap Cod for a day and it was nice to take the elevator down to the parking lot and drive the car out. The train station is next to this hotel and we were able to take it directly to downtown Boston. There is a Starbucks at the hotel and the beach is across the street.

The hotel is great. Fab location, clean and everything you need for a beach stay on your doorstep. Tip: nowhere to hire beach chairs or beach towels so come prepared. Downside: They say wifi is free...it is if it works. Being an international solo traveller I had to use my own data quite often to get emails, communicate with home etc. I stayed here 5 days and have to say at least 60% of that time it didn’t work, which also impacts the tv in the room which made for quite a lonely, frustrating stay in parts. Manager promised a stay refund which is appreciated and still pending! Check in advance if the pool is open which was a reason I booked this hotel only to find it was closed. No safe in the room. Lovely supermarket just near the train station less than one minute walk or for more on offer a 7-11 about a 10 min walk Could do with a bench outside Lower Lobby for when waiting taxi pick ups. Great atmosphere with the bars close by and the lovely Mission Beach House onsite. There is a Starbucks also.

We unfortunately had an outage during your stay and are working diligently to fix the issue to avoid any future outages. Pool also had a emergency shutdown due to unforeseen required repairs, we apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused during your stay. Safes are readily available at the front desk and are complimentary to our guests. Thank you for the suggestions of a bench at the entrance and thank you again for taking the time to write a review. Our experience was much like everyone else described but I will add to it. We drove down the street looking for the hotel but couldn’t figure out where to pull in. There was one driveway with traffic cones blocking the entrance and come to find out that was the hotel. After double parking on the street we walked up to the hotel to check in. You have to get on the elevator to check in. Front desk staff was very nice but after explaining the traffic cone issue there was no offer of resolution. We were not leaving the car overnight so didn’t need to park in garage. We just needed to be able to pull up and put a suitcase in the room and to leave again. After figuring out the parking issue we went and dropped off our rental car at the airport. We toured the city a bit and hopped on the T to return to the hotel. We returned at sunset and the beach was beautiful. We crossed using the bridge which was beautifully lit up at night. There is quite the nightlife scene right next to the hotel. The restaurants/bars looked great but cannot attest to the quality. Although they were busy! We all went up to our (small!) room. Room was pleasant enough for five of us for one night although there were only two towels. I had to call down for bedding for the pull out couch, and the shampoo/conditioner/body washes were all completely empty and it wasn’t discovered until already IN the shower. We didn’t have noise from the T but our neighbors slammed their doors repeatedly and seems like the walls are very thin. We woke for sunrise and what an excellent start to the day! Beach was beautiful and clean. We hit breakfast right at 6:30 and not everything was out yet but stuff was continuously brought out. Green bananas are not going to get eaten though and warm option for vegetarians would be a suggestion. We had a quick bit outside looking at the beach. Breakfast needs work compared to other hotel offerings but it feels like they are trying. We checked out of the hotel around 8am and walked out the back door behind the check in desk and hopped on the Wonderland T stop bound for the airport. We were at the airport within minutes and was so easy compared to driving. Hotel has so much potential and we will absolutely stay here again. Looking forward to seeing how they grow.

My family stayed there for five nights and very enjoyed it. The beach is right in front of the hotel building and it is super clean. The blue line station is located at the back and just a few steps away. During the daytime, the trains come every 8 minutes. It takes 20 minutes to get the New England Aquarium. The breakfast is a weak point however staff tried their best to provide the service. I got extra towels from the front desk and staff were nice.

The location is best. A pedestrian bridge links to the beach, and the subway station is right out the back door/garage. One queen-bed room can accommodate 6 persons maximum. This is great for a family trip. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We got up early so we went for breakfast before 8 am and did not experience waiting in line. We will definitely stay again!

We are a family of 5 (boys aged 14, 12, 12) that have stayed in several Springhill Suites locations because the standard rooms accommodate our family. We were planning a 3 night stay in Boston to spend time at the beach and tour the city, so when we discovered this brand new hotel, at a reasonable price, it was a no-brainer. Overall, we were pleased, but there is definitely room for improvement. The positives: - across the street from a long, clean beach - literally steps away from the subway into Boston - clean and new - staff were friendly - we had an unexpected partial ocean view which was nice - the gym is clean and well fitted, although there are only exercise mats, nothing suitable for yoga The negatives: - rooms are narrower than other locations (felt tight and didn’t have a dresser) - we heard the subway every time it rattled into the station - the biggest issue is the glass barn door on the bathroom - the light from the bathroom shines through and disturbs anyone in bed - unlike some other locations, the toilet, sink, and shower are all in one room - giant walk-in closet with only 3 hangers and no luggage rack - why check a family of 5 in to a room with 2 towels and no bedding for the sofa? And then say “you’ll have to come to the front desk to get them” - the sofa is a pull-out, not a trundle like in some other locations - breakfast is a zoo! The hours (6:30-9) might suit business travellers, but it seemed to be all vacationing families. Between 8:15-9 there were lineups, nowhere to sit, and as soon as the staff brought anything out it was snatched up. - parking is $15, but our car information wasn’t taken and anyone can drive into the parking garage (or walk in from the subway station) - the restaurant in the lobby is terrible! Would we stay here again? Absolutely. If management figures out who their customers are (NOT single business travellers!), this place has the potential to be a 5/5.

The rooms are laid out well and decorated nicely. Lobby looks great. However with this being a newish hotel I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. Our room had food on the floor, some garbage on the window sill, hairs and stains in the bathroom and a stain on the carpet. God knows what this hotel will look like in another 12 months if they keep this up. Obviously the cleaning crew need some direction.
