Detailed Reviews
A recent home renovation led me to stay four nights at the newly built Fairfield inn in Plymouth, MA. The staff is exceptional and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and very clean with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The free breakfast each morning was well stocked with a variety of hot and cold food items and beverages. We also enjoyed the fresh baked cookies each night. The building itself is new and well kept from the rooms to the entry to all of the public areas like the pool and fitness center.
Location, location, location....this hotel is located in Colony Place a shopping and restaurant filled area close to downtown Plymouth, the Plymouth waterfront,Kingston Collection (mall) and highways. I would highly recommend the Fairfield Inn in Plymouth, MA to anyone looking to stay in the Plymouth area.

No concerns with cleanliness here! You can see people actively cleaning and sanitizing at any time of day unlike other hotels I’ve stayed in that look like ghost towns due to Covid. What stood out was the general Manager Daralyn’s commitment to the success of this location. The communication exceeds expectations don’t hesitate to stay here, any concerns you have will be addressed promptly by Daralyn. And to all the pet parents it is pet friendly with immaculate grounds for a short walk which is always a factor in where I stay. Booking a suite for a little extra space is worth it!

The room was well prepared and fresh. The attendants were polite and knowledgeable and eager to help. The facility was clean and well maintained including the fitness room. There is a small indoor pool which I did not use, but looked fine. The breakfast area was in keeping with current Corona Virus regulations with paper bag breakfast, though coffee and juices and some cereals were available. The coffee was excellent!. Easy to recommend.

The people who work there are amazing - very accommodating and all had smiles on their faces. We got there about 2 or 3 hours early, and they still checked us in without any problem. At other hotels in the past, we would have to pay a fee for checking in early. The room was very nice, but unfortunately the showers (no matter what time of day) were not hot! We really wanted to wind down with a good hot shower, but the temperature went from cool to luke warm - not at all relaxing.
Another thing was the pool - we had kids visiting for the day, so we all went down to the pool. The levels of chlorine must have been incredibly high, because all of our eyes were burning (just from sitting in the chairs, not even going into the pool!) and breathing was getting hard because it felt as if there were just so many chemicals in the air. Finally, the breakfast was quite good, and again, the staff were very friendly. The problem was that with over an hour left at breakfast, they said there were no more yogurts left and many things were in need of refilling (though I didn't ask if they had any more of the other things: creamers for the coffee, cream in the large canister, fresh fruit,...) Aside from those little things, it was a really good visit.

Hello there, Thank you for your time in sharing this review. It is great to know you enjoyed your stay overall and I appreciate the feedback you’ve provided. I do apologize for the lack of hot water during your stay, unfortunately, one of our pipes was found to have been damaged from the prior day’s high winds. It was repaired as soon as possible, so I thank you for alerting us to this. I also want to extend my sincerity for the issues described with our pool. Although all tests have shown a consistent balance in the chemical levels, we have been closely monitoring them to ensure its safety. I truly appreciate your choice to stay with us again in the future and look forward to providing you with an even better experience from the improvements we’ve made in these areas. Thank you so much!

We are staying here over the Christmas weekend to visit family, 3 nights in to a 4 night stay, and could not be more satisfied. On arrival, we were greeted by the most cheerful and helpful young woman at the front desk. The reception area is modern and welcoming and includes a decent snack shop that also offers a choice of wines for sale by the bottle. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, linens ample, and beds very comfortable. Walls are substantial and noise control excellent. Dog friendly. Complimentary breakfast is generous and includes eggs, prepared oatmeal, turkey sausages, fresh fruit, waffles in addition to the usual yogurt, cold cereal and pastries and bagel options. The common space includes an airy and spacious breakfast area, full bar, reasonably well-equipped gym and small indoor pool. Every single one of the staff we have encountered is incredibly friendly and has gone above and beyond for us, and Joyce in particular is a stand out. She helped us make last minute arrangements for, and was extraordinarily attentive to, our larger family group throughout Christmas Eve. We don't see the barest hint of any issue with cleanliness of the rooms or quality of the linens. As a reasonably wallet friendly hotel, don't expect the plushest Turkish towels, but the towels provided are more than adequate. I can't imagine finding anything better for the price.

Our family needed accomodations to live quickly, and we were met with such helpful people! Amy was so refreshing, like family... natural and easy to chat with! She took the time to get my children situated with remote learning and WiFi! Such a different year.
All the front desk help was great!
The pool was so clean and salt water, ever better!
Cleanest hotel around...Mike was always busy cleaning floors, vacuuming, or talking to guests. Such a great guy!
We were never once nervous about covid, as everyone took all the precautions we all needed to feel safe, even at breakfast. They took the time to individually wrap all the fruit... Little things were noticed!
We will be back, for a vacation this time! Highly recommend this hotel.. for a break, vacation or just a night away!

We were very impressed with most of the staff at this hotel. However, the girl on Reception, when we arrived, was not very good.
We arrived at 12 non, thinking check in was 2.00pm and knowing we were early. She advised if we wanted the room before 2.00pm it would be $25 and we said OK. She then advised the room wasn't ready and we asked if we could leave a couple of suitcases whilst we went out, which she kindly let us do.
We asked if their App would let us know when the room was ready, she advised the App didn't do that. She said she could not call us to let us know as she could not dial internationally. I asked if she could email us and she agreed.
We didn't hear back, but we returned again at 2pm, as we had run out of things to do. She said the room still wasn't ready but it may be ready by 4.00pm and we asked if she could check again at 3.00pm.
At 3.00m I went upstairs and saw Housekeeping in the room. We therefore waited and about 10 minutes later, we were finally given the room keys.
At no stage was I welcomed as a Gold Bonvoy Member, told about the Gift Marriott advised I would get, breakfast, the bar, the pool or gym. I did ask about the laundry and I was told there were complimentary dryer sheets but there was no longer any washing powder, so I went out to Walmart to buy some.
The room was good size and the only down point of the room was no safe.
When I went to use the washing machine there was powder up there but you need a card credit to use the machine, which proves difficult if you are an overseas guest but this is not the hotel's fault.
I just feel the start of the stay was marred by the lack of information. Had we known there had been a bar we would have used it the first night.
Megan in the bar was excellent as was the food from the bar. Mary and the Maintenance Man were all excellent helping with the washer and dryer.
Overall it was a good place to stay.

My kids and I had an unexpected one-night stay due to some work on my house. Everything was perfect. Amy at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The room was modern, simplistic, and clean. No surprise, since this building was only built very recently. I was very impressed with the pulley window shade in the room with the printed foliage scene! It creates a more calming / less claustrophobic feeling when the window shade is down. The heated indoor pool was just right for our party's needs: 3 to 4.5 foot depth throughout. I must live under a rock, because this was the first hotel I've seen with the tap-the-keycard entry. Apparently that's a thing now. Thank you, Fairfield Inn Plymouth.

Traveling during a pandemic means cleanliness is especially important. The Fairfield Inn is perfect choice for cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are new and spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel was opened in hopes of serving Plymouth's planned 2020 quadricentennial. The pandemic canceled all the festivities, but the hotel remains open and well staffed. I hope travelers will consider staying there when visiting the area. It doesn't overlook the ocean, but it is only a few miles from the harbor and the area's historical sites.

We were here to participate in horse shows nearby. Since amenities like a more or less full breakfast buffet are taken away, they are less attentive at breakfast with very little on offer. Our king suite room is nicely laid out and everything is new, this we liked.
It would be nice if we could fill up a water bottle somewhere else besides the gym. Trash in the parking lot was still there 2 days later. Nothing earth shattering but the standards were not as high as normal. Oh yes, the door to our room was open before we came in the first evening, key card not needed. Things like this put us off.
