Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park is often celebrated for its immaculate cleanliness and stunning location, with guests regularly commending the breathtaking views and beach proximity. Despite concerns over value, with some finding the pricing steep, the campsite's amenities, including pristine private facilities and a well-supplied shop, receive high marks.

Detailed Reviews
Loved our stay at Three Cliffs Bay. The views are absolutely stunning and the beach is within walking distance (down quite a steep path). The glamping experience was great - we had everything we needed. The evenings were quite chilly when we stayed, so we made use of the heater. It takes quite a while to warm up the tent, so keep this in mind if you're someone who feels the cold! The shower block is good - each cubicle contains shower, basin and toilet and is nicely heated. Great location for exploring the Gower peninsula or just lounging around on the lovely beach below. Very friendly staff too.

Wow! From arrival until we left, staying here was a lovely experience. The shop was well stocked and had a one way system in operation to keep us all safe. I had ordered logs and was offered delivery to our pitch. We paid for partial sea view with electric hook up. We had fabulous views and a lovely flat pitch. We also paid for a fire pit which was excellent. I was very glad we had paid for hook up (we only have a heater) as there are some very sloped pitches on the other field which I would not have been happy with. The toilet blocks are the best I've ever come across. Once you get in you have your own fully tiled wet room with toilet, sink and a very fancy electronic shower. Amazing. From what we could see they were cleaned at least three times a day. The walk down to the beach is very steep. Fantastic views from the campsite and some beautiful walks and beaches in the surrounding and immediate area. Highly recommend

This is our second holiday to Three Cliffs Bay Holidsy Park, the first time we camped but this year we treated ourselves to one of their glamping tents, which was amazing
sleeps up to 5 people, lots of space. It was fabulous holiday as a family of 3 with a 3yr old. The site welcomes dogs and is very child friendly. The site is immaculaty clean, the aminities block is excellent, which is cleaned regularly, touch sensive showers and underfloor heating. The site has a excellent shop which supports local business and provides products from local butchers, brewed beers/ales, ice cream, amongst other things like takeaway coffee/tea cakes, rolls etc. The site is a 10min walk to the most fantastic beach which is well worth the walk down. Lots of space and lovely views. We have made some amazing memories from.this hoday and we will be returning next year.

We have visited this place 4 years in a row, the view
Is outstanding, we were lucky enough To have a sea view by booking as soon as the bookings opened last November.
Next year is getting busy re bookings so sadly think
We may have missed the boat as I assumed
The usual November booking system was in place.
I have noticed the expansion of the business and
It felt bigger and busier and less personal.
In view of covid, I feel despite obvious risk assessment and box ticking, hand sanitisers
Etc, these were not enough.
Learning points and suggestions for the management.
Shower blocks.
I expected to see the cleaners permanently in this area, I took a daily shower and only noticed the cleaner once in 4 days.
Hand sanitiser and encouragement of visitors to use
These upon entering and exiting. - there was only one visible hand sanitiser on the wall, one outside every door would have been more effective and user friendly particularly as the entrance doors were closed.
Shop
8 in shop allowed at one time.
This was not managed or policed. Shop narrow and impossible to socially distance.
Hand sanitiser station. on entrance had a cardboard box dumped on it, suggesting it be not important.
The weekend was very hot and the car park for
The beach had hundreds of cars - each person had to walk through the door of the shop. The option to take car park fee outside the shop surely a more responsible option.
Thanks three cliffs bay, you have given us yet more
Memories - we may spread our business and look for something less commercial and more welcoming next year.

Hi Bodie75 Thank you so much for your feedback, we are thrilled you generally enjoyed your recent stay, but agree improvements can always be made. In terms of amenity block cleaning currently we have 3 major cleans a day by two cleaners at a time, 545-9am, 1030-230pm and 4-7pm that equates to 21 man hours. On top of that we have general walk through cleaning of 4 hours on top of that. So 25 man hours a day. Externally on the block is hand sanitizers by all of the external doors. In and around the site shop and reception we have hand sanitizers on both entry and exit points and at each till point. We currently have lots of guests who are staying at present who visit earlier in the season normally and then go abroad in the summer, we are naturally at our current capacity. The tents are also larger this time of year as more families are staying rather than couples. Hopefully we will see you again in the near future 2021 bookings are live

Staff very friendly and check in was easy.
Taken to pitch and clearly shown boundaries of the pitch.
Quiet after 10 pm which was very welcomed by us. We do not like noise and chaos we go away to relax!
Toilets and showers lovely apart from the broken doors on some of the cubicles
Shop well stocked non food items expensive but to be expected from any campsite shop.
Food items great and fairly priced given the quality of them.
Ice Cream
Coffee
And Welsh cakes deeeelicious
Fire pits and picnic tables available for booking
Dog friendly with a dog walking field and plenty of poop bins.
Views absolutely amazing from the cliff top
Check out very efficient.
Cautions:
The rocky path hill walk to the beach is about 15 - 20 minutes if you have poor mobility it’s probably a no no.
We had hoped to carry our SUPs down this is not an option, you can drive to easier access beaches.
You can easily carry lightweight body boards but nothing of size.
If you book a sea view pitch do not forget your awning storm straps the wind is mega strong even on a calm day.
Do not get caught out by the tide in this bay, when the sea comes in, it comes in quick and what was a shallow stream quickly becomes very deep.
There are lifeguards at main times and the flags are out to help you avoid the rip.
The beach has a take your own rubbish policy so don’t carry lots of bottles etc expecting a bin. Not a problem for us we always take home what we bring and recycle appropriately. Dogs were allowed in the beach which was a plus for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the beach was.

Stayed at 3 cliffs for the weekend before the inevitable lockdown.
Easy to find, warm welcome at the reception/shop, which stocks all kind of local produce, plus nice pizza and coffee. Staff are very nice and friendly, and one way system and maximum number of people at one time in place.
Shown to our electric pitch by a friendly chap, plenty of room on pitch plus a picnic table thrown in.
The grounds are kept immaculately clean and the grass is in great condition even though its end of season and the weather has been rocky to say the least. They direct you to use the same pitch as previous tents so all the surrounding grass stays healthy and green, which really does make the site look lovely.
The shower blocks are the best I have ever seen on a camp site, all ensuite type bathrooms. They also seemed to be constantly being cleaned and were pristine at all times, great washing up room as well, and water points dotted around.
The views of 3 cliffs bay was absolutely stunning from the site, bit of a hike down to the beach but worth it when you got there.
There is a nice mix of people using the site, and a variety of accommodations and pitches, there is a general feeling of laid back friendliness through out. Very quiet after dark, with just veiws of fires dotted about, and very starry sky as little ambient light in the area.
Looking to book for next year, I think most people would return after one visit and I would recommend it to anyone.

We have just returned from two weeks at this lovely campsite.
First of all I want to mention how brilliant the management of this site were throughout all the uncertainty with Covid.
We were originally booked for summer 2020 and the site gave us the opportunity to transfer to 2021 with no fuss whatsoever and kept us updated with all the latest government restrictions through email and also through Tom’s excellent Facebook videos.
On arriving at the site we were warmly welcomed at reception and then greeted by a warden at the entrance to the camping field. He guided us to our pitch and even showed us exactly where our cars should be parked and where our huge tent should be positioned.
Our pitch was massive and in exactly the sheltered area we requested due to our fear of cliff top camping after a particularly frightening night in Dorset a few years ago. ( if you also prefer a sheltered spot rather than the pitches with the stunning sea views ask to be placed in the back field away from the cliff)
The shower and toilet block are probably the best and cleanest we’ve seen. They seem to be cleaned a few times a day rather than just once as is often the case on other sites. Each shower has its own loo and sink and plenty of room to get dressed. There is a mirror and hair dryer or plugs to use your own in the communal part of each shower block.
We found the site to be very quiet overnight - not quite the instant silence at 10pm that the curfew dictates but definitely a noticeable quietening down and then silence by about 11pm most nights. You are more likely to be woken up by the sheep to be honest.
We had a strong storm one night and the cliff top awnings and tents took a bashing but we survived the night in one piece in our more sheltered position. Another storm a week later fully tested our air beams but again we were fine.
The walk down to Three Cliffs Bay is long and steep but so very worth it.
We also enjoyed the beach at Oxwich Bay as you can drive there and park almost on the beach for £6 a day.
A trip to Rhossili and the walk out to Worms Head was a highlight of our trip. ( wear sturdy shoes! )

A lovely campsite. We had the best caravan pitch on the site with an amazing view of the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities were immaculate. Each shower had it's own toilet and hand basin which was brilliant and as there were so many showers we never had to queue even when the site was full. There is a shop which sells the everyday supplies but the only downfall was the prices. They were extortional, especially for alcohol so after being stung on the first day, we chose to shop elsewhere as we felt we had been ripped off.
It's a lovely site if you are a walker but there is really not much else to do in the area unless you want to drive around a lot. Access to the site is very tight, especially with an 8ft wide caravan so you hope you don't meet anything coming the other way.

Thank you for your review we are pleased you generally had a lovely visit. In the on-site shop we have a large range of goods, we do have an emphasis on local produce which can be a little dearer but does support local businesses which makes a huge difference to local businesses and the area, we do carry more widespread brands which are cheaper. 2022 bookings go live 1 Aug 2022

Very impressed, camping fee was excellent value for money given the facilities, setting and standard of service. The showers and loos offer individual privacy, no "male" and "female", a blessing if, like me, you are transgender. The facilities are appointed to a high standard, with modern tiling, decor and very well maintained. Only small grumble is showers get warm, rather than hot.
The premium pitches offer a stunning view of the bay.
Site shop is well stocked with a good variety of items, prices are generally in line with motorway services, so bear this in mind, but I didn't let the convenience premium bother me too much, I felt I bought the items I did as a thank you for a lovely holiday, as there is always the nearest Tesco or similar if you prefer
All in all, I had a great time and highly recommend.

One of the best views we’ve ever had, and so many incredible beaches and beautiful walks nearby. This is a great campsite with everything you need. The shower rooms are spacious and each has a toilet and sink, they’re actually nicer than most people’s bathrooms and have underfloor heating, which was so nice! They were kept very clean, as was the dishwashing room, which has large sinks and hot water. The shop has pretty much everything you might need, and lovely ice cream. Very friendly staff. Our only slight grumble was that a large area at the front of our sea view pitch was cordoned off as the grass had been re-seeded. The poles cord ping off the area interrupted the view and we had to set our tent back, which was a real shame. This won’t affect anyone in a couple weeks though when the grass has grown though. If you book the sea view pitches for tents, be aware that you’re on top of a cliff and the winds are often high. We had to pack up and leave a day early due to strong winds, but the few days that we did have were amazing.
