GROSS! Would never have stayed here if we had another option. The only reason we stayed here is because we were traveling through town and EVERY hotel was booked because the Boston Marathon was the next day.
Positives: we booked the King Suite (only room left) and it appeared to be slightly less used. I wouldn’t say it was “clean” but I’m sure it was better than a standard room. Also the front desk staff was really nice.
Negatives: it was so unclean. we brought Lysol Wipes to clean all surfaces and door handles upon arrival and let’s just say that those wipes were FILTHY when we were done. The carpet was almost black and we wouldn’t even put our bags on the ground. Of course we didn’t even take socks off either. The halls and outside of the buildings were so worn down and shabby.
Only stay here if you’re desperate

Rooms are not cleaned very well. First room I checked in was infested with fleas, I had to grab all my things and request another room. Second room smelled so bad and the furniture was disgusting with spillings of drinks or something. Finally the 3rd room was good, it was doable. The hotel allows pets so make sure you don't get a room that allows pets otherwise you might have fleas in your room. Cleaning people do a horrible job cleaning the rooms but the staff in the office are helpful. Breakfast is nice as they give you a full breakfast of eggs and potatoes and the works. Hotels needs some upgrading and the really good cleaning.

I had a comfortable stay here. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfy. There was convenient parking available right outside the room, as all the doors were outside. I was impressed with the warm breakfast: waffles, pancakes, various types of toasted bread. All the staff were very kind and helpful.

Staff was friendly during check in and check out. Breakfast choices were good. However, I was a little disappointed in the accommodations. The room was a little run down and could use some attention. Comforter had stains, smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, dresser looked like it was stained and freezer had a huge buildup of ice and something had clearly been spilled in it. Bed was comfortable but walls pretty thin and could hear everything going on. Hope this was a fluke and that other rooms were in better condition.

The room was clean; however the bathroom was in tough shape. The toilet seat was loose and the bathtub was disgusting. The water dripped in the tub leaving colorful residue. We only stayed one night. Would not have stayed another. The beds were small and uncomfortable.
We only chose this hotel because everything else was booked.
People at front desk were pleasant.

I booked a hotel and the date auto-populated without my acknowledgment. I showed up at the hotel and they said they didn’t have a reservation for me. I was dumbfounded. He checked again and said my reservation was for the day before! I asked if there was anything I could do because clearly we did not stay there the night before. Clerk was very unhelpful and told me I could book another room. Because we were from out of state, I went back to my car and booked another room online. I did send an email to the manager of the hotel but didn’t get the courtesy of a response. Avoid this hotel. There are others in the area.

Awesome place! Not like a luxurious hotel but you will find it really comfortable and safe. Front desk staffs are so nice. Breakfast is great! I got scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries, waffles, danishes. Awesome! The bed is soooo soft! If you don’t like soft bed I feel bad for you. I love pillows and I got 4 pillows all for myself! I just wanna to take a bed back home honestly. Definitely will go back again!

No essential worker p/work as per the Covid-19 pandemic, so we couldn’t stay. Perfectly u/standable. The hotel seems to be situated in a convenient location & seemed perfectly clean. The lady at the front desk was kind & helpful, as well.

Hello, Frank! We are grateful for your choosing Quality Inn & Suites in historic Lexington back in late-May of this year. Unfortunately, due to the regulations placed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at that time, we were unable to welcome you for your visit. We very much appreciate your time taken to write this review as well as provide kind words for our Front Desk staff. We all work very hard to keep things as welcoming and helpful as possible for each of our guests - even the ones we had to turn away! We hope you will consider staying with us sometime sooner than later as we are now given slightly more leeway from the State as to who can visit with us. Along those same lines, we were recently able to reopen our hot and healthy breakfast offerings - with modifications - from our grab-and-go breakfast bags of past months. Slowly but surely, we are doing all we can to return to a 'sense of normal' and hope all is well for you and your loved ones, as well. Again, thank you! We hope to see you soon!

I gotta say that Hussein at the front desk went above and beyond when I was checking into this place. Showed me all the local spots to eat at and since I’m not from the area made me right at home! I travel a lot so I notice things like this when someone stands out and does a great job. You guys are lucky to have him!

I have stayed at this property several times but never again!
When the rat ran across my bed in the middle of the night, I decided it was time to take this hotel off my list!
On the plus side, the front desk quickly refunded my money. On the negative side, they didn't even hesitate...as if this may be a know problem????

Hi Maria R,
The shuttle at Quality Inn and Suites operates complimentary within a 5 mile radius, based on driver availability. The Mall is within the 5 mile radius. The shuttle typically runs drop-off service. The Alewife train station is beyond the 5 mile radius, but the desk will be happy to refer or call a taxi company for you. Uber and Lyft also regularly frequent the hotel.
Hope this is helpful!
We do not have a hot tub on property, only a heated pool. However, our guest do have access to the Boston Sports Club right across the street, and they have a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, as well as a modern gym facility.
Sincerely,
Anthony Ayala
