Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

While we've stayed in some luxury hotels abroad, this was one of the best hotels we've been to in the US. It's about 5 years old & is next to the Burlington Mall (a plus for shopping & dining). There's free parking, a complimentary breakfast buffet, a heated indoor pool, a fitness center, & a full kitchen. What we appreciated most is that the designers had thought about what would be most convenient for the guests. We had a night table with a drawer at either side of our bed. While it sounds like a little thing, we've stayed at new pricy hotels where there was no drawer (e.g., to put your wallet, medication, etc.). The bathroom had multiple towel racks & hooks, & the shower had 2 ledges & a basket for soap. Again, while this sounds like a small matter, a previous "ritsy" hotel where we stayed had no shelves in the shower. While they had had shower bottles attached to the wall, I had to put my personal toiletries on the shower floor - quite inconvenient. There were available electrical outlets on both sides of the bed as well as throughout the room. There was a lot of counter space to store our luggage & whatever else we wanted. One of the remarkable features was that we had almost instant hot water in the bathroom sink. The furniture was good quality with hung drawers that opened all the way to the back. All was not perfect though. The heating A/C fan was very loud & left a breeze on the bed like an overhead fan. While we also enjoyed the better than average breakfast, it would have been nice to have some whole wheat or multigrain bread as an option. We did appreciate though that there was sufficient breakfast staff who kept the place clean, well organized, & refilled the food when needed. Kudos to the designers who paid attention to function & not just to style!

We stayed here with a friend at her recommendation and we were not at all disappointed. The room was clean, well appointed with the extra benefit of a full kitchen/diner, and very comfortable, especially the bed which granted a very good nights' sleep.
Breakfast is buffet style but it was plentiful with good choices. My favourite was the waffle machine which allowed you to make fresh hot waffles as you wanted them. They even provided take away cartons if you wanted to take food back to your room, or take it away.
Our friend stayed in an ajoining room which was very useful indeed.
We will definitely return should we get the opportunity.

Stayed here for one night while in town on business. The hotel is newer, rooms are spacious (as expected from a Residence Inn) including a kitchen, vanity area, bar and couch/seating area. Staff was friendly and helpful, providing suggestions or recommendations when asked. There are many restaurant options within walking distance - from sit down steak houses to faster places like Chipotle and burger joints. Very convenient to Hanscom AFB (within 4 miles) and about a 30-40 minute drive (without traffic) from Boston International. Only issue was noise heard throughout the night - not sure if it was from an elevator (we were not that close to it) or other equipment, but being on the 2nd floor might have had something to do with it. I'd recommend trying for a higher floor where maybe it would be more quiet.

I had to unclog the shower drain myself - I even had to pry it off with scissors. Then I called the front desk (Stephanie) to tell them how nasty it was and how I had to clean it myself. I then asked to get my room cleaned and Stephanie said no since I hadn't been there 7 days (I've been here 5 days). She refused to have my room cleaned until I finally got upset with them. She never apologized once. When I talked to the general manager, there was never an apology issued even after I showed him the picture of the disgusting amount of hair I had to pull out of the drain and his employee's response. I shouldn't have to clean other people's out of the drain, let alone clean the drain at all.
They claim that they can't clean the room because of COVID but yet they leave a half-used roll of toilet paper and paper towels in the room from the previous guest. Only God knows if they replace the soap, coffee, etc. before the next person checks into the room.
The vent in the room is absolutely filthy. Who knows when the last time it's been cleaned.
Don't expect any kind of real breakfast. Marriott is saving so much money by not providing hot breakfast and house-cleaning yet all you get for breakfast is water, a banana (sometimes) , yogurt and packet of oatmeal that you have to package up yourself after every other guest has touched and breathed on it. It wouldn't be that hard to offer prepackaged breakfast burritos or sandwiches that can be heated up in the room.

Hotels are only as good as the people that clean them. This place is no exception. Even an otherwise nice property can be ruined by uncaring staff. If you happen to get a room near one of the housekeeping storage rooms, be prepared for continuous door slamming. They go in and out all day long for supplies and let the door slam with bone-jarring thuds. Clearly these people have no consideration for the guests who might be trying to sleep or nap, etc. The behavior is annoying and just plain disrespectful.

I'm still at a loss as to why this property continues to book rooms for inconsiderate animals who feel it appropriate to start jumping off beds, screaming and carrying on...AT 03:00 IN THE MORNING!!!

This is the reason I've requested the top floor, so I'm not disturbed when I have to GET UP AND GO TO WORK!

It's always a "roll of the dice" when selecting this property.

Property caters to business travelers? I DON'T THINK SO!!!

Moving forward, I think we shall have to consider alternatives to this location as its just too loud.

My colleague, on a different floor and on the opposite side of the property, experienced the exact same issues.

Recently visited the Burlington/Boston Residence Inn with my granddaughter for a hockey tournament. As a Platinum for Life guest of Marriott I have stayed at more than my share of Residence Inns and expect a clean room, comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Well in this day and age the hot breakfast has been replaced with a brown bag breakfast but the room along with all the common areas was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff very attentive. I noticed where there was a gathering in the lobby the group was reminded by a member of the staff on social gathering and suggested an area where they could meet at a proper social distance an indication that the hotel’s commitment to keeping you safe is more than lip service. The common rest rooms, halls and more important elevators were immaculate. The hotel is located in a business park and adjacent to a mall there are an abundance of eating establishments within walking distance that also have takeout or can have the food delivered to your room. If you are starting to venture out again and will be in the Burlington area, I suggest the Burlington Residence Inn, you will not be disappointed.

Housekeeping walked in on me. Not cool. Most uncomfortable bed ever. Hard like a brick and super high to climb into. Was not given any direction on how cleaning and resupplying works - poor staff communication. Leaky sink and shower. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here.

We were in for My daughter's wedding. Bronson and his staff made our stay very affordable, very safe, very relaxing and they were very helpful. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond. They helped put rose petals on the bed and decorate the bride and groom's room. We were able to ship stuff to the hotel before we got there. That was so handy. Branson was so very easy to work with. We appreciated everything. The communication with Bronson and staff was amazing.

Large room with small kitchen area. Large stall shower and bathroom. Bed a little hard. Breakfast choices were adequate with a few different hot choices daily. Would recommend putting in a ramp curb for those with wheeled suitcases or wheelchairs.
