Discovered Tacaro looking for a B&B to take my mother to as a little get away after the death of my father. Our two night stay couldn’t have been nicer. The Tacaro estate is impeccably decorated and sits on top of a hillside overlooking the Chesapeake. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool and going to North Beach in the evenings for dinner and live music. The hosts, Susan and Luca, made us feel like we were family. I’ve been to many B&B’s but none with more hospitable hosts or a better breakfast. The apple Dutch baby and avocado toast were beyond scrumptious! Thank you, Susan & Luca, for a wonderful time!

My husband and I spent 5 memorable days at this magnificant retreat. The decor captures the elegance of a bygone era with many fireplaces, exquisite woodwork and a historical speakeasy. Our spacious suite was tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable and the views were spectacular. Breakfast was nothing short of superb. Best of all was the gracious hospitality of Luciano, Susan, Candy, Louisa and John. We felt our experience was custom made especially for us, as well as our dachshund! Everything exceeded our expectations. We came home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We are already planning our next visit.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. Luca Luciano gave us warmed welcome. We stayed in Caroline's Suite. The master bedroom was very spacious as well as clean and polished as described in the website. The private terrace was also nicely organized with chairs. The scenic view from the terrace was so nice and refreshing. The view of the great lawn from our windows was so charming. At night, we loved to spend our time in front of the fireplace. The room was so artistically decorated. The king bed was very comfortbale. The restroom was well organized. In the next morning, Luciano and Susan wished us for anniversary with fresh flowers. In the morning, we had expericend a fine-dining breakfast during our stay. My wife and I wanted to mentioned about their freshly baked croissants with blueberry jam. The french omelets, pacakes and avocado toast were also delicious and freshly cooked from the kitchen. My wife is a picky eater but she ate everything! Both Susan and Luciano is very personable and made us feel loved and welcomed. We felt so homely. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. We loved the way both of our host treated us. There are some nice restaurents near this inn. We tried couple of them and loved their food also specially Baiya-italian restaurent suggested by Luciano. We found nice antique and boutique shops to visit during our stay. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay here. If any couple or group are looking for a nice getaway far from urban crowd with fresh air and homemade food; I would highly recommend this inn.

My daughter and I were eager to stay at the Inn and expected exceptional service and accommodations. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. The owner/reception staff bought us to two different rooms only to tell us they were not our room. The third room we ended up in had plugs and wires hanging out of the wall, poor drainage in the bathroom, very hard beds, very loud air conditioning unit, and no hairdryer. Neither of us could sleep. For the price point, we would have expected some special touches, like access to a cup of tea, cocoa or wine, cookies or snacks, While the breakfast was exceptional and the view of the bay from the patio was lovely, there are many kinks this B&B need to work out as they get established.

My apologies, Kim, that you did not enjoy your stay. We were training a brand new manager that very day and things got a bit confused. The wires hanging out were not active, but are part of the 1940 intercom system that the original owners used, so we kept them as a relic. However, we have now removed them at your suggestion. We have also replaced the mattress in that room with a much more comfortable one. We have Lavazza coffee makers in each room as well as coffee and tea upon request downstairs at all times throughout the day, as well as a glass of complimentary wine every afternoon for all of our guests. I'm not sure how you didn't see the coffeemaker. If you had said something during your stay about any discomforts or missing amenities, we would have addressed it right away or put you in a more comfortable room. I do hope you will come back and give us another try. I know you come out to Tracys Landing occasionally to work at weddings, so I can assure you you will not be dissappointed! We had a truly relaxing stay at the Inn. The entire B&B is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the grounds are stunning. Our room was both comfortable and spacious, the bed and bedding first class. The breakfasts, served in the dining room with a lovely view of the parklands leading down to the bay, were substantial and absolutely delicious: fresh berries, eggs cooked to order, home-baked croissants, latte (with oat milk as I requested). In every way this was superb hospitality: we will definitely return to Tacaro Inn next time we need a relaxing weekend of luxury.

We have admired Tacaro for years. Soon as we knew it was a B&B we got reservations to enjoy a Valentine celebration with long time friends and we fully immersed ourselves in the Tacaro environment. The estate is extraordinary. Susan and Lucia are prefect hosts at their spectacular Inn. This get-away went far beyond our expectations. 1000/10 Such a beautiful estate! Everything has been designed with attention to detail. All the furnishings were perfectly curated, this place will transport you straight to the south of France. As Impressive as the estate is, what really stuck out to me was the hospitality. I felt like I was staying at a friends vacation home, the staff is so welcoming and accommodating. You will feel like absolute royalty. Even the pool is heated! I went on a 6am swim as the sun was rising and the pool temperature was very comfortable. I can’t wait to return in the fall and winter. One of my favorite stays in the USA.

My wife Mary and I stayed at the Inn at Tacaro Estate last weekend while we attended our friend's wedding nearby. The facility is as gorgeous as the pictures on the website, and Luca & his staff are amazing. The breakfast each day was worthy of a Micheline Star, and food never seemed to stop coming. We can't wait to find a reason to come back!!!

We stayed the weekend to celebrate our 31st anniversary. We had such a wonderful time. Absolutely loved the estate, we stayed in the Martin Bird room it was perfect. We also had the opportunity to tour all the rooms in the estate and you cannot go wrong with any of them. He breakfast was great, I wish we could eat there every morning. Luca and Susan are wonderful hosts and we absolutely loved them, it was fun to learn about all they have done a the estate. We will definitely be coming back for another stay and we highly recommend The Inn at Tacaro Estate.

John and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at The Inn at Tacaro Estate and absolutely loved it! The inn is gorgeous and our room was wonderful! The hospitality of our hosts Susan & Luciano went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfasts were one of the best we have experienced since we started going to bed and breakfasts. The pool and hot tub only added to what was a very memorable weekend for us! We will definitely be back!
