We stayed here the last week in July and we all had an amazing time! Our room was on the bottom floor , opening to the kids’ pool area. So convenient! And also quieter than expected . Walls r very sound proof and pool shut down around 8 I believe , so the daytime pool activities never affected our room choice.
Our room was immaculate, beautifully decorated , and so well laid out, as was the entire hotel. We loved the convenience of being on the ocean for playing in the sand, nighttime beach walks but also being able to walk just a few steps to the pool area, which had very attentive servers selling food and drink…all of which was delicious!
Loved all of the additional kids activities as well: cascading Carlos, lollipop the clown, magic show , mermaid fun in the water, which helped to make this a true resort style vacation.
Thank u to the hotel for complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and bday card waiting for us when we arrived, as we were celebrating my husbands bday during our stay. They were delicious!
I especially loved the complimentary fruit and veggie infused water in the lobby along with a Starbucks !
This is a more expensive Hilton hotel, but it’s completely worth the price as they have perfected the art of catering to both the kids and adults in one venue which many other hotels miss the mark on. The kids pool is very fun w a lot of water features. The adult pool (kids r allowed) is a bit warmer and has a swim up bar! So fun!
Lastly , the full kitchen allowed to cook … sausage and onions, pasta, etc . The stocked cabinets and appliances allowed us to eat in as often as we ate out!!
Hotels is only 10 min drive to the boardwalk and across the street from jolly Roger’s!
We’re already planning our trip back next year!!! Loved it!

This is our go to home in Ocean City, MD. We come in the summer and were able to return this weekend. We love that all the rooms are direct ocean front, living room, full sized refrigerator, oven, microwave and plates and pans. The bathrooms have double sinks and jacuzzi tubs and rain showers. The spacious bedroom has a very large deck with table and 4 chairs. Every suite is over 800 square feet.
This hotel is full service from the bell hops that work from 8 AM to midnight. A restaurant that operates all day. We have the best breakfasts there. Housekeeping is the best of the best of the best and the front desk is the best at any Hilton that we have ever gone to.
With one Children’s pool with water slides and an adult swim up bar this Hilton is welcoming to adults and families alike.
Three of our favorite people here are Uncle Frank and Mari at the concierge who are truly at the top of their game and we spend a lot of time swapping stories there.
But the Assistant General Manager takes the lead with his team and guests. You will see him doing what ever is needed to help his team, interacting and laughing with guests.
There are many hotels, motels and rentals available in Ocean City, MD but no true resorts, backed by the Hilton brand and the Harrison Group of this spectacular property.

Even with a sincere explanation, they wouldn't let us cancel without a penalty of paying the first night's reservation. We had placed the reservation within the 3-day timeframe to cancel, so apparently there was no cancellation window at all. Then they wouldn't let us check out a day early without the same kind of penalty. However, beach location was amazing, restaurant staff and cleanliness were excellent, and pools were very nice. Room had positives and negatives: upholstery had seen much better days and I spent a lot of energy keeping these covered with towels, sofa bed was not comfortable, but the ocean view from the balcony, the serene hallways, and easy to come and go parking, driving from hotel to nearby places was nice. I have to say though that I enjoyed this hotel restaurant the most. Of all the places we dined at in Ocean City, it was by far the most tranquil and cleanest.

This is not a 4-star hotel. Nothing about this hotel is nice. As other reviewers have aptly and recently noted, this is not luxury nor is it a resort. Simply a beachfront hotel that has the Hilton name. Conditions are deplorable and unsanitary. The pools are dirty and unusable with floating hair, rooms smelled like urine, fixtures and features are outdated and threadbare. There seems to be only one beach shower which is sporadically used, causing the pools to fill with sand.Staff is disinterested (at best). The sliding door to the worn balcony was broken and the shower was an afterthought. Shower head Is awkwardly stuck in the middle of the ceiling. At one point, our keys were deactivated and we had to go to the front desk to get new keys. At no point did the staff behind the counter ask for any type of identification before issuing new room keys. Seems to be a huge security risk. We ended up checking out of the hotel two days early and incurring a significant penalty just to get away from the property. When we checked out, the staff member asked if we enjoyed our stay. Our reply was “no”. We informed her that we were transferring to another property because our stay had not been good. At no time did she ask us the reasons why.

Unbelievably filthy carpet. Blackened socks in 10 minutes. Not tan, but black with filth. IDK how the government doesn’t get involved
Also if you want to go to the beach at this beachfront hour, you are on your own. Bring you own towel because the hotel disallows pool towels whenever a towel person decides randomly. and have cash because the umbrella and chair people are not connected to the hotel and you can’t charge it to your room.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. This hotel doesn’t reflect the standard Hilton service you’d get around the world.
Really old rundown building and not well maintained. For the price, it is definitely not worth it. The appliances are rusty, extremely loud fan in the restroom, bathroom door doesn’t close properly and the list goes on. The room we were given got extremely cold and I woke up with a headache every day even though the temperature outside was 74F and we didn’t even have the AC on. According to them, they have reduced cleaning service but in reality it’s basically no service during your whole stay unless you’re staying for more than 5 nights. Every time you need fresh towel or toiletries, you’d have to go down and get it yourself. The indoor pool water temperature was really cold and we couldn’t stay there for long and I spoke with few other families there and they all didn’t stay in the pool for long because of the same reason. They have two outdoor pools, one for adults and one for the family. A bunch of kids were crying and screaming on the adult pool and no hotel staff was there to monitor enforce it. The Starbucks downstairs literally tastes like vanilla flavored coffee you get at 7/11 or gas station machines, pretty awful. Even the front desk or housekeeping staff weren’t very friendly or helpful.
The only good thing was staff at the restaurant, really nice and food was decent. We booked it expecting the standard facilities and services we get at Hilton around the country and around the world but we were extremely disappointed and was not worth the high price they charge. Even some of the motels in Ocean city has better service and price than this hotel. I’d not recommend this hotel and highly unlikely to return.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly; however, showed up 2 hours early and went to desk to notify we are in town for 4:00 o'clock arrival. I was told the room would be ready. We went to lunch and grocery store. I came back to the desk to let them know and are room was not ready at 4:00 and we had to wait additional 1/2 hour. The restaurant The Palm has good meals. The pools are cleaned, but the guests went in the pool area at 6:30 when staff was cleaning the area to safe seats when the pool didn't open until 9:00 a.m. which the rules need to be enforced by the staff. The parking was open to all who knew there was free parking as I noticed many cars in the lot didn't have a pass in the window, so the guests couldn't find parking. The pool for adults had children and even though the pool had a rope for the pool bar sign which stated 21 and over there where kids in that area with drinks. The view from ocean front rooms was excellent and I noticed there was a person sitting by the pool to hand out towels the guests weren't check in at the pool to see if you still hand a room. Overall the stay was good and the guests couldn't get a cart to take luggage to the room as you had to use the guest service attendant to do this or carry your own bags without a cart. Also, kitchen was nice, but it didn't provide any cooking utensils to use for the pots or pans only eating utensils. I prefer to stay at HIlton hotels, but this is the first time I actually had to write a review.

Definitely a true Hilton, and certainly the best of any beachfront hotel we’ve ever visited. We were there with our 10yo granddaughter and everything about the room, pools, and all of the rest of the place met with her approval! We had an ocean view room on the 11th floor and it was spotless,well, equipped, and very well maintained with the exception of some rust on the screen to the balcony slider. There is a full kitchen, with fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher, and even a blender and toaster..plenty of glassware, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. There is a small coffeemaker with supplies too. A large bath with jacuzzi, front room with tv and pull out couch, nice large bedroom with another tv, and balcony with chairs and a table. The most impressive was the staff. From the front desk to the maid to the servers at the pools everyone was pleasant and accommodating. One of the best features was the ability to arrive early, and while waiting to check in we were given an “amenity card” and wristbands that got us full access to parking, the pools, and some very nice changing rooms and showers next to the indoor pool. That was also repeated when we checked out and we took full advantage since we had a lte ferry reservation and had time to kill after the 11am check out. Overall just a great experience…highly recommend.

We had a special long weekend with our 4-year-old granddaughter. We arrived early and found a parking space within feet of the parking garage interior doors. The front desk was friendly and welcomed us as Hilton Honor members. Our room wasn't done, and we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful weather until the phone call came that our room was available. We were immediately greeted by a bell person that helped us with our luggage and took us to our beautiful room. The room, bathroom, and kitchen area were clean and spacious. The carpet, appliances, and couch appeared to be new. Yes, the drawer pulls were rusty. It's an oceanfront hotel with salt air.
Other reviews talked about black gunk coming out of the jets. Little one wanted to take a bubble bath. We learned 20 years ago when we owned rental beach property with jetted tubs, what our cleaning folks did. As soon as we walked into the room, we began filling the tub above the jets and threw in 2 dishwasher detergent packets. Ran the jets for less than 15 minutes and there was no black gunk. We then ran cold water through twice. We personally are not jetted tub people, but travel with dishwasher detergent when traveling with the grandkids.
The pool and the pool area were clean, we were there the weekend after Labor Day and the hotel occupancy was probably pretty high. The pool area wasn't busy the day we didn't go to the beach, at least 75% of the folks at the pool were not wearing the bracelet given at check in to be worn at the pool. We've been in Hilton's outside the USA and employees and their families are permitted to use the amenities at the hotel. Not a problem unless many guests want to use the pool and the chairs are occupied.
The view was beautiful, everyone friendly and we would definitely return for apeaceful stay.

Another great stay at the Hilton Oceanfront Suites! There were 5 of us for this stay, including our 92 1/2 year old mother! Uncle Frank and Mari took great care of us, including great dinner reservations, and made our mother feel very special! One recommendation would be that you allow the continued use of the pool area (not for swimming, but for sitting and socializing) through the month of October. We had several beautiful sunny days, but there was no place on your property to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon. Go ahead and close and drain the pool, but leave some chairs and tables in the pool area through the end of October (and set chairs up in mid-April in the pool area!). We've already confirmed our reservations (thanks Boz!) for our next two stays!
