We stayed in the Inn, we had a small room with a double bed and shared bathroom. The inn is cozy, the staff is friendly, the room and bathrooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I loved having the luxury of a bed and...More
Stopped in to the pub section of the resort for supper after hiking Mount Katahdin. Very casual atmosphere, large bar available and a good amount of seating. Food was very good and draft beer was cold, the perfect end to a full day of hiking....More

We love hosting all our hiking friends! Hope to see you next year!
Big Moose is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed, without being intrusive. They deliver what they promise. Very nice breakfast starting at 5 am. I stayed both in a single room with shared baths off the hall and a two bed suite....More

I do believe this is the closest Inn to the park. We stay here to go white water rafting also seeing how this is the hub for most of the rafting companies. Great food, drinks, location and accommodations. Two restaurants on site and a convenience store/ gas station on location. Fuel is expensive out here so your best bet would be to fill up in town. A lake on either side of the road to soak your feet in after a good hike.
There are campgrounds closer to the park. But after a long day of play we like to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the quaint Inn.
