Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful grounds, staff was polite and helpful. I will return in the future if I am ever in the area. I would recommend to any fellow travelers. Pool was nice, bathhouse available with laundry and showers.

Would not stay here again. This campground is not designed for a larger camper. Ours was 38ft 5th wheel. Only 5 pull throughs. No sewed hook up. GPS for camp address will direct you up a hill to a cul de sac that is VERY. Tight. We almost were stuck trying to get turned around. Directions on website does not indicate change of address or instructions to take 1st left turn. Off of main road. Do not take a larger trailer here!

We have stayed here several times over the years and I am totally impressed with what the new management has done here already and what they have started to do. They have added WiFi, opened a new office and working on additional space there. The playground has been given a facelift along with the restrooms. They have reopened the hall and are scheduling events there that are open to the public. We will decently be back here and will be checking out some of their other properties on our next trip. Then staff are friendly and helpful too. I believe you will be impressed Oak Creek Campground now also.

The positives: the site was a good length for a pull through. Playground was new a big and swimming pool was lovely. Nice fire pits. Solar lights were great. The negative: pool closed at 8:00 pm ,grass was not cut on site or around the fire pits. Stated in advertising that there was concrete pads. Nope just gravel, but they were level. Sites were close together. With our slide out out, the neighbors could not use their fire pit. Advertising says you can come in at 2:00pm, we arrived at 5:30 pm and a camper that was broke down was in our site. I feel bad for him, but we waited over an hour in 85°heat to fix it so they could move. Crawled in bed nice and cool when we heard a big bang. The power went out. Remember it's over 85° out. Power company came and fixed it. An hour and a half latter we have power again. No air for that length of time. No one answered the phone when we called. Next morning, office would not compensate, they were polite, for any of the inconvenience we had. Would not stay here again.

We saw the reviews before we went…however we couldn’t find another site on short notice, so we booked. Big mistake. Pulled in, office smelled like cigarettes 🤮 then we go to our site, BARELY fit they said it would fit…it did but zero room otherwise , horrible site had to pick up dog poop before we could even park…beside nasty permanent trailers, grass 6 inches high, pool was closed the day we wanted to swim for a “repair”…nasty bathrooms, poop all over stall on floor. Lots of permanent campers here which I think probably contributed to these things. Wi-Fi was iffy. Good for maybe a pull in and sleep option but do not recommend otherwise. I wish I would have taken pictures but we stayed gone so we didn’t have to be there. Other campers were complaining as well. We never right a bad review either. So you know this was bad!

Lots not mowed. Overcharge $70 at night. Fire pits Full I mean Full. Junk in lot. Picnic table filthy and flaking paint. Smells of human feces bc permanent people in woods , they’re filthy and have large wagons full of garbage. All the garbage cans on each lot were full and never dumped the two days there. Creepy residents sit in various spots staring from woods. It’s ridiculous these owners keep their area immaculate and expect to live like filthy animals. But if the wind blows right you’ll smell it. Wires everywhere at boxes

We tried to laugh and have fun with the situation. But it just wasn’t pleasant. The entire tent site is on a hill! You need to park down in front of the bathroom and there is always someone sitting there smoking. The bathrooms were not horrible. But the toilet seat was broken so hole on! And it may eventually cave in because the entire toilet moves. Save your money. Nighttime is rough. Besides feeling like you’re sleeping on a slide, there are several freight trains nearby and your so close to the highway and state rd you can hear all the trucks and motorcycles going by. The playground is nice.

The campground is OK but there is no wifi and it is the most expensive campground we have stayed at. I would look for some place else to stay if you are in the Cincinnati area. There are quite a few permanent campers.

I had made reservations for a 35’ with a towed for a pull through without reading any reviews. This is a far cry from being called an RV Resort it really looks like a ghetto; it has a very narrow and extremely hilly raised 8’ wide asphalt driveway that is close to the full time residents that mostly reside in this park. It only has 5 sites that you can use for an overnight stay; needless to say we didn’t stay after seeing the park. Look elsewhere.

This is the nastiest campground around, they have rotten campers in the back, Fecal matter all over the bathrooms and I’m pretty sure the older man in the office was driving around drunk at night. Rates are horrible and overpriced and you get nothing. Half the washer and dryers don’t work they are from the 90s. We stayed here a last year and this place has gone down hill. Also no trash service. You have to place your bag in this make shift box with trash over flowing out of it. Just straight up nasty!!

We are sorry that you had a less than satisfactory experience. The community is under new ownership and all of the past issues are being addressed. Our restrooms are cleaned everyday, providing fresh paper goods and making sure all is neat and clean. All of the washers and dryers are working, one dryer was serviced recently. We have contacted our supplier again. Please contact our office; we take every complaint very seriously. Thank you.
