Nice amenities in the estate rooms. Wonderful, hardworking staff. Consideration of client needs. Very clean room. Small winery tour, excellent food in the restaurant - have to try the blue burger. Nice wine tasting. Has a nice skeet shoot course. Wife loves the scenic view from the porch of the estate rooms, really everywhere has a great view here.

Elk Creek’s website doesn’t do justice to the beauty of their quaint facilities. You will feel as if you might have made a mistake as you travel out into the middle of nowhere to find this hidden gem. The signage is very unassuming so you literally have to stumble upon the property but, once you realize you are in the right spot, you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the facilities. The Lodge, Vineyard and Hunt Club facilities are amazing. We stayed in the Estate Rooms, which are in a separate building. The exterior of this building is not nearly as attractive as the others but the rooms are quite nice and are supposed to be quieter and more private than those in the Lodge or Inn and, once inside, we were again pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were. Apparently it is very difficult to get reservations because they all stay booked up months in advance. It is necessary to drive between the different buildings. It would be great if they could develop walking paths or paths for golf cart transportation between the guest rooms and the Vineyard. We also wished that they had been selling souvenir and gift items but, at this point, such items are only available at the Hunt Club and they are specific to the Hunt Club instead of the Vineyard. All in all, this is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway but the nightlife at the Vineyard was also active in the evening. The food and service there was good and fast.

I stayed here while visiting family. Totally worth it. Elk Creek is made up of a few different properties. My son and I stayed at The Inn. The Inn is basically a two-story house. My son and I had the two bedrooms on the second floor. The first floor bedroom was unoccupied so we had the whole house to ourselves. The upstairs bedrooms were kind of meh with in-window AC (kept the rooms nice and cool during the heat wave). The first floor was incredible, though. We should have gone grocery shopping and made the house our base camp. Beautiful kitchen. Leather couches and chairs in the living room. Plenty of room to eat or entertain. I felt like I was in an expensive villa property somewhere, not middle of nowhere Kentucky. Oh and they had good wifi in the house which was a shock to me. We felt very welcome there. The staff is very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is not super special. It's the same sort of thing you'd see at a Holiday Inn Express - cereals, bagels, sausage, etc, but you get to eat it in the main lodge which is gorgeous. Elk Creek was a pleasant surprise. This would be a nice getaway if you live in Cinci.

We received a one night stay at Elk Creek from my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas and truly enjoyed the night. We had a wine tasting in the Winery prior to dinner, then had a delicious Panko Crusted Tilapia dinner along with our favorite wine from the tasting, we chose the Riesling although every wine we tasted was excellent. The next morning the continental breakfast at the lodge was much better than we expected with eggs, sausage, bagels, French toast and cereal we couldn't have asked for more, We followed this with a tour of the winery before heading home. We hope to visit again and bring the rest of the family for a fun weekend.

My husband & I wanted to get away for a quick overnight & chose elk creek. We stayed in the estates, it was very peaceful & quiet. Just what we needed! This place is in the middle of nowhere. For us that was a good thing. We enjoyed the onsite winery & relaxed. We did have an issue with the online booking system & when I called to fix it nobody answered. This was very frustrating, someone should be available to reach via phone during normal business hours. I ended up having to call the managers cell phone # I found listed online to fix the issue.

Our visit started with check in at the Lodge. We chose the King room with private bath. The room was clean and cozy, however the stand alone air conditioning unit was noisy. Also with the room being on the main floor, we could hear every movement of the guests accommodating the second floor. The common areas were very spacious and provided views of the skeet sporting range and vineyards. Our tour guide at the winery was Jose. He was knowledgeable of the process of making the wine and the end product itself. He made our tour fun. Was disappointed to find that the cafe in the winery closes at 6pm. Therefore, we had to drive 30 minutes to get dinner. This place would be a great getaway for a group of friends and or family.

Elk Creek Vineyards consists of 3 places to stay. The Inn and Estate set on the main road, the lodge is back a drive behind the Hunt Club and The Winery (where you eat) is on a side road. The lodge which is a beautiful wood home turned into lodging rooms. The Inn which is a two story sided home, that you share with other occupants and the Estate which is private rooms/bath and like a motel. It has shared porch that goes along the entire front and back. I stayed at the Estate and could not have been happier. The bedroom floor is wood, the shower is tiled. The tv is on the wall. The bed had a pillow top and comfortable. The room was very clean. It also comes with a coffee maker and mini fridge. I went through the week and there were couples in the front, but I fortunately was the only one in the back and had the entire porch/rockers to my self. If you stay at the Estates be advised this is only about 25 ft. off a rather busy state road so you get a lot of road noise. In the back, rms 4,5, 6 it is much quieter. I would go back there, but be cautioned this entire property is being sold and new owner/management things could change.

My wife & I visited there for 2 nights for an anniversary trip. We stayed in the Lodge. The grounds were nice and so was the room. It is off the beaten path, which was exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast provided at the winery was nice as well. My only complaints; the rooms didn't provide much in the way of privacy, we could hear other couples talking thru the walls pretty clearly. Also the bathroom in our room had suffered some water damage to the sheetrock that was un-repaired and appeared to have been that way for a while. Not a big deal, but not first class either. We will probably go back. No wi-Fi service.

The Elk Creek Vineyards is a lot more than a winery. It is a bed & breakfast with rooms in 2 different Buildings. My room in the little building was small, but beautifully appointed. The winery building itself is huge & very nice. It can be used for a lot of things like weddings/receptions. It is out in the middle of nowhere, so for dinner we just stayed there & ordered a pizza & sat in the chairs outside our rooms. It was very pleasant. I rated the value as a 3 only because we went there with a coupon/discount thing during the week & it was cheap. I don't know their regular prices.

This is basically a 3 bedroom house for rent. We did use a groupon, we did not realize at the time we were sharing a house with other guests. It was not too bad as 1 downstairs bedroom has a bathroom across the hall and the 2 bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom at the top if the stairs. The kitchen and living room are shared common areas. The coolest thing is you could rent the whole house for $400 m-th and $500 on the weekends which could make a great family get together. The not so coolest thing are the simple small air conditioners placed in the bedrooms. Ours made so much noise (squeaks, clunks, whistles) no matter what setting it was on. It could be replaced easily for under $100, it almost ruined the stay, told staff about problem upon checking out, acted like it was no big deal but it was a big deal, stated they would look at it, I told them it needed replacing and was way beyond repair! Kitchen was supplied with pots/pans and utensils, however after looking at the gas stove, I probably would not use until cleaned more, it had grease all over, looks like someone cooked bacon and it was cleaned the best, however, housecleaning did show and you could tell and smell they cleaned, it was tidy and clean except for the stove. The other issues I had with sharing the house, the other guest never locked the entrance door which led to the common areas and all guests had keys to lock those doors? In addition you could lick ur individual room doors as well. Could use some firewood for the firepit? And some sitting chairs and table on the front porch? Fix the broken porch lights? With a little $$ and attention place could be tip top but it wasn't? Will probably stay here again and rent the whole house and invite family.
