I started my trip with a reservation by calling Susan soft spoken sweet tone on the phone she went over my reservation 3 times because I kept changing things on it (beds, needed a microwave, bottom floor) she even gave me a room number. I arrived 2 days later and it was Susan who checked me in also. I believe it was Susan's mother held the door for us when we was bringing in our belongings. Then..... The next morning I met Linda and her husband. Night and day experiences. Linda's clothes didn't fit no masks very loud her and her husband were fighting in the office. Then to no surprise at all Jamie is her mother. Jamie was supposed to bring me towels and didn't Jamie told me "due to the virus" we aren't not allowed to clean your room during your stay. I asked for new liens I'll do it my self. Never received those either. I'll call next time to see who's on all shifts when I stay there again. Which won't be for awhile!!!!

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. This hotel is old and needs much TLC....speaking of TLC, don't plan on watching your TV the cable was a mess. Spoke to the front desk clerk she gave me some sad song and dance and didn't even offer to fix this issue. So I knew it was an ongoing problem that couldn't be resolved. The lobby was tiny only to be made more cramped by the family who continued to hang around the front desk. They seemed to be related to the staff somehow. Very awkward and unprofessional. I guess you get what you pay for......

Customer service is always great, rooms are good, and its quiet. Great experience every time we come. And pet friendly, restaurants are very close, including walmart, and the high way. Thank you red roof for always being open!

We had to pay close to 180 for a room that was barely worth 40. As other reviews have said, the floors are not cleaned at all. There was hair, food, and general dust and grime across the floor. Hallways smelled of smoke even though it was a nonsmoking hotel. The worst part though was visible stains across the ceiling that could have been anything from blood to water damage to mold. We were traveling with our baby and I felt unsafe in the room. When I asked if there were other rooms available I barely received an apology and they seemed uninterested in addressing the concern. Would never stay here again.

Every review here is correct. Overpriced, dirty, paint peeling, and smelly. First thing we did was check for bugs. Thankfully there were none, but it is still the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Apparently if you travel about 20 minutes out, the hotels get cheaper, but this area is overpriced because of the Ark. I’m annoyed that I learned that after booking.

Horrible. Dirty, musty, run down. Pillows were old and broke down. Cold shower. For a 2 star I wasn’t expecting great but cleanly and hot water and it certainly wasn’t. Tip from last customer left-so they missed that-so if you cleaned how did you miss it? Used q tip in the floor. Children running around with master keys.

Two couples, two children. Room with children smelled terrible. Other room dirty. Bed sheets dirty, dirt, hair. Were given two other rooms. Floors still dirty, mold on shower curtain, bathroom door would not close, could see into hall around door, pieces of flooring sticking up, could have tripped on it. Towels were clean and bed was comfortable.

This hotel is in the worst condition of all the hotels I have stayed in for many years, with the exception of one in NC 40 years ago. The yard / lot was littered. The dumpster was overflowing and had trash heaped all around it. The door in my room was in bad need of re-painting, floor had paint spots that should have been removed, bed was in need of replacement, sloping off towards the wall on one side. The door at the end of the hall leading outside was in dire need of repair and painting. After my first night, I asked that the room need not be cleaned, only that the towels be replaced. The towels were not replaced, nothing at all was done, not even the trash was taken out. The only thing good to report was the friendliness of the staff at check in, and the luke warm coffee in the lobby. After first entering my room, I would not have stayed except that it is the only hotel in the area that accepts pets. I was disgusted with the general condition of the property.

No room on first floor and no elevator. We are seniors and had to haul our stuff upstairs. Corridor smells like smoke. Telephone in room does not work; stairwells not marked as exits; parking lot lights burned out as are both security lights over second entrance opposite lobby. TV is situated on a wall that is off to the side if viewing from bed. If this is representative of Red Roof properties, they are a dump. And, we haven’t even spent the night yet. May have more to write in the morning. 😞

After asking for a cleaner room, we still found it very dirty as if the floor had not been cleaned in a very long time. Pieces of paper and trash left by the maid in window sills and on the floor. The sink was not clean, coffee and tea water Luke warm. We’re done with Red Roof period. They do not inspect their motels!!!
