We stayed as two couples and booked two rooms. We stayed for one night. One room had a dirty washcloth in a bathroom and crumbs all over the carpet, while another room was a total disaster. Sticky gum and some white substance on a furniture, crumbs on the floor, burned lightbulb. We went to the front desk with the intent to discuss the cleanliness issues, but one of the clerks attire partially showed her breasts, and the total atmosphere just didn't feel right, so we didn't say anything. No one ever asked how our stay was. We would not return, even it's free.
Would not stay here again. Disappointed in the breakfast and the TV. Breakfast was very limited choices. Had to order from someone instead of service yourself. Maybe this is what all hotels are doing...don't know as this was first hotel stay since COVID. But when ordering could not understand the server. Between the mask and broken English it was hard to understand what they were serving. You would think someone would be smart enough to put a sign up with what they were serving. The TV lineup was very limited and the TV would turn off my itself and there was no way to stop it. And it was not the sleep function. On the positive side, the room had a great shower.
This hotel is actually nice and appeared very clean. Unfortunately when we walked in to check in we waited at counter for someone to appear. After a while a young man walked out of a door and said “name”, “need identification and card for incidentals”....if this is the greeting perhaps automated machine check-ins should be installed. We clearly interrupted him doing something he was more interested in. I know this hotel can do better than having him the face of this Fairfield.
Everything was as you want it. Friendly staff, easy check in and out, clean rooms. Only thing really lacking was the breakfast. The eggs and sausage were so salty they were practically inedible. But we just did cereal, muffins and toast instead.
We stayed on two separate nights on our way through the area in September 2020 amid the pandemic so were naturally concerned with the cleanliness of the facility. But there were hand sanitizers around the lobby and breakfast area, and our room appeared clean. They also left 2 single-use sanitizing wipes in the room for cleaning the TV remote. Hotel looks relatively new, like maybe 1 - 2 years old. Both our rooms looked just as pictured - coffee maker, mini fridge, and a microwave. Beds were comfortable and beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower which also has good shower pressure. Clean heated pool and hot tub were opened which we did use one night. Although not the normal continental breakfast we were used to before the pandemic, they still provided lots of items - yogurt, cereal, apple, banana, sausage/turkey breakfast sandwiches and wraps that you could heat up with the microwave there. Tea, coffee, and juice from the dispenser. We will come back again if we are in the area next time.…
