My son who is a FIFO worker celebrated his birthday last weekend . Due to the border closures he has been unable to return home during his week off. He has been spending his week off at his home away from home Sanno Marracoonda Airport Hotel. I rang to find out if there was anything the staff could do to make his birthday memorable given he could not return home. They were amazing! Maria said “Leave it with me! “. Sheborganised a cake, a card, chocolates and sparklers to be delivered to his room. Nothing was too much trouble. Sincere thank you!

Booked over the phone for an overnight stay in Perth on our way to Broome. As it was close to the airport with a free shuttle bus with good prices it was ideal. Arrived early evening after the restaurant would have been closed so range ahead and was able to order meals to be there for us the room was comfortable very nice breakfast next morning and the check in and out was made easy by the friendly staff.

The Wall near the bed head had what I can only imagine has to be semen. There was used soap on the sink leading me to ponder the overall cleanliness of the room and bedding . It was a hot night so I needed the aircon going and everytime the thermostat kicked in it was so loud it would wake me up and infact did basically every hour. If I wasn't so tired I would have demanded my money back! Disgusting!

Staff upon arrival and departure were absolutely wonderful, this would absolutely sell the accomodation in itself however, the room was very dated and sparse of furniture (for the size of the room could have had a little lounge or something), went to shower but was absolutely no body wash and I didn’t bring any with me as I expected to have that supplied in the room.
Bedding was nice and clean, pillows comfortable but the bed moved a lot!
TV remote stopped working a few times, probably needed new batteries but not so much an issue.
The location makes it quite noisy where our room was situated right by a main road/highway. Also no sound proofing at all, could hear every door opening closing from next door and car noises to them speaking in their room and outside the window.
Woke my baby constantly through the night had to have the AC on just to help with the noise.
No sheer curtains so unless you’re happy with people looking in to your room you have to have the light on during the day which isn’t as nice as natural light.
Basic tea and coffee provided, no bottled water.
Would stay again if I absolutely had to and only based on the kindness of the staff. otherwise I’d stay somewhere else with better ammenities and proximity to grocery shop etc. Only DFO & Service station/Hungry Jacks close by.

Given the price per night for the room, my expectations were not high and all we really needed after a long flight and an early morning start the next day, was a hot shower, a cup of tea and a comfortable night’s sleep. None of those expectations were met. First impressions of the room was poor - it resembled a sad school camp dorm or an old public housing unit. It also bore no resemblance to any photos on the website which was extremely misleading.
The room was huge, however there was literally only a bed, a bench on the wall and two desk type chairs. No table, no bedside tables, no small arm chair. The TV was suffice to.
Attempted to make a cup of tea, however discovered no milk in the fridge. My husband walked to reception and came back with a handful of milk ‘sachets’. They were either out of date or otherwise tainted. There were lumps and a sticky film over the milk in everyone that we opened. So no cup of tea.
Ok then - onto the shower. Nope. No hot water. Thank god it was a hot Perth night, because a cold shower was actually ok. However, because it was a hot Perth night, a bit of welcome aircon would have been great. Again sadly no. The tiny box air conditioner in the far corner of the room, when cranked to full tilt, hardly made a difference.
Positive note - room appeared and smelt clean. Sheets were crisp and clean and so too the towels.
All in all, if you literally want a place to lay your head for a night after flying, then ok, this hotel would suffice. However, with no hot water, insufficient tea and coffee making facilities or even a hair dryer or alarm clock, then a business traveller would struggle.
This place is in desperate need of a makeover and some attention to traveller’s needs. Yes, it was cheap, but no need to be both cheap and nasty.

1 night stay prior to flying to Sydney, contacted the hotel earlier in the day to ask if we could drop our suitcases off prior to spending the day with relatives- absolutely no problem, also requested ground floor room, already organised (most of the rooms are ground floor).
A little tricky to find the room but once they’re ten out of ten. Very clean super bed & comfy pillows.
Real nice touch as provided with snacks and a small bottle of red wine as well as tea & coffee.
Free shuttle bus to the airport and the driver even returned to airport because I’d stupidly left my mobile phone in the room.
All in all excellent service- WELL DONE

We started our Australian travel in this hotel in Perth. All was good organized, we could call for the pick up at the airport and were welcomed from a really friendly person. He gave us recommendations for our stay in Perth. Our bedroom was really huge and as unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evening we were glad to have snacks and a bottle of wine in our room.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is very well located to the airport with a shuttle service 😀
The rooms have everything that is required. The bed was comfortable and linen clean.
The bathroom grout could do with a extra scrub and the furniture is from the 70's but overall it is exactly what is required before or after a long flight ✈️

The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the airport (about 10 minutes), which was very welcome as we arrived after midnight. A huge plot with motel-style bungalows for the most part. Our room was very large with high barn-like ceilings, a kitchenette area, shower and toilet. Basic furnishings, contract carpet, but all was clean and the bed was comfortable. Definitely could do with some blackout curtains though. Internet was fast and reliable. There were complimentary gifts of a huge cookie, a packet of crisps and a half bottle of red wine. Also complimentary was an hour later checkout at 11am. However, this wasn’t much use, as breakfast finished at 9am! (to be fair, you could have room service, at extra cost). The breakfast menu had a lot of choice - my 3 slices of toast with butter and preserves was €9. There is a (new) station, Radcliffe, about 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel that has trains going to the airport and central Perth.

There is a link on your hotel booking. When you arrive at the airport, click on the link to book the transport. You will need to go to Departures, Bay E & the transport usually arrives in about 20 minutes. Good luck & have a great time.
I am not sure I was only a guest there you could send them an email.
Their shuttle operates 24/7 - just call them if you have an Aussie phone. Otherwise there is payphone right next to the Crafty Swan - I put in 50cents and got thro to their reception using the number given on your reservation. They will ask you to wait at G outside the international terminal (again depending on which terminal you arrive at) and the shuttle - with the big word "MARRACOONDA" - will come by and pick you up.
