Detailed Reviews
We had to change our room at least 3 times while we were there. The first night we had to kill a big roach in our room. So, they moved us to another room that was smaller. The next morning, they moved us to a bigger room which was fine except the water pressure in the shower was so low you had to stand so close to the wall and shower, Plus the water was not very warm. I will say that they did have an excellent staff there who were on top of everything there. Also, they had one of the best breakfast that we have ever had they did a great job.

Stayed for 3 nights while attending Notre Dame Graduation July 11 - July 14.
Check in was pleasant, and quick. Aaron had my information waiting when I arrived, and I was in my room within 5 mins. I ran into one housekeeping issue while there, and it was handled promptly and professionally. Front desk was attentive, and helpful.
My room was in the back part of the property and had entry from the parking lot as well as the inside. This was convenient moving belongings to and from the car. I reserved a two-queen room, and that is what I got. The room was clean, and spacious. There was plenty of drawer and closet space. Everything in the room worked. The AC was cold, the water was hot, and the shower had good water pressure. The room was quiet, with the typical sounds of closing doors, and parking lot noises muted to a level below most other properties I have stayed at.
Breakfast was standard and met expectations. I did not have an opportunity to visit the pub but did hear from another guest that it was good.
All of the staff that I had contact with were very friendly and accommodating. I was in the room on the second day when housekeeping came by. Although I told them I was satisfied with a towel exchange, they changed out the bed linen as well, and wanted to make sure that my stay was meeting my expectations.
There are two pools one indoor and one out. The indoor pool was clean and well maintained. The small gym was clean, and the equipment was in good condition.
I have stayed in a number of properties over the years in this area, and for what this property offers at the price point, I will absolutely stay at The Clover when I return to South Bend.

Everyone was very nice continental breakfast was okay rooms were clean. Was disappointed when we called the next day to say our great-granddaughter left her baby doll in the room it wasn't turned into lost and found that was kind of a big disappointment but I guess someone else needed it more than my great-granddaughter.

We had a great stay here for a Notre Dame game. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the bar manager (I believe his name was Mario) looking forward to the kitchen being open at the bar. Would stay again when we come into town for a game

Check-in was good, and the front desk staff at check-in (one person) was very nice and helpful.
The room looks nice and the bed is comfortable.
Very little sitting space. Remote control didn’t work.
The worst part is the noise. This is a very loud hotel, so don’t stay here if you’re someone who needs quiet. Heater is very loud. Doors slam shut, so be ready for that to happen all night. TVs are set deep into the wall, and the walls are paper thin. So, if the room next to you plays their tv loud (say, from 11pm - 1am), you’ll hear everything. Poor design, and the fact that they haven’t fixed this issue is a bad sign. Late-night desk staff was non-existent: a hand-written sign saying “be back in 5 minutes” was up for an hour.
Won’t stay here again.
