This is a decent budget motel. It's not in an especially appealing area, but our room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The one gripe we had was that they'd closed the breakfast room and weren't offering the advertised complementary breakfast. Only coffee. They said it was because of COVID safety concerns. I appreciate the concern, but every other motel we stayed at on this trip at least managed to put out some fruit and granola bars out by the front desk. They should have set something like that up here. It felt like they were just using COVID as an excuse to save money on the breakfasts.

Stayed one night, older hotel, priced right. I look for a clean, quiet room in a hotel where the people are friendly, the TV and WiFi works. The proprietor was accommodating with my room assignment. I go out for breakfast so I cannot comment on what they did or didn’t serve during this COVID-19 period. Everyone was wearing a mask including the guests, no idiots. No street noises heard from my room. Would recommend for an economical stay. If you expect 5 star you will be disappointed.

I wish i could write a good review but this hotel wasn't so great. The man that checked us in was super nice so I wanted to like it. The room was pretty clean but the toilet definitely was not clean. The price was very reasonable. I wish it was cleaner.

Just perfect rest stop enroute to Carlisle, Pa. Warm greeting on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Great rate. " King Gyros" next door does a great job for sandwich and soda. The TV worked just fine. The facility was quiet, the bed was good, room was warm and a good nights sleep was to be had. Up bright and early, coffee & muffin in lobby, good wishes for a safe trip at check out and off to I-80 east. Yes , I would stay here again.

I needed a place to stay for three nights in a row. Chose this location for the price and proximity to campus. Well that old adage you get what you pay for is not a cliche. The owner was weird and peeked around at the guests eating breakfast as if to say "Don't take another roll." The coffee was weaker than a newborn fawn. I am still trying to figure out where did he get it.
In the room, you could actually see the dust hanging on the shades and drapes. The carpet was musty, shower tub was nasty, everything nasty. The heating unit was also too hot and loud; needs a cycling shutoff. I would not recommend this location.

I was recommended by a friend to stay with Rick at Americas Best Value Inn when coming to Notre Dame and I am glad I took his advice. The hotel is clean, Rick treats you like family, and for what little time I'm actually in the room it fits the bill perfectly. I missed one home game this past fall, but stayed here every other time surrounded by Irish fans, and was just there this past weekend for the Blue-Gold game and this place meets all my needs. I'm not looking to sit in the hotel lounge or by the pool when I'm back at Notre Dame, so why pay those prices? I want some place that is clean and convenient to campus, without paying an arm and a leg for the few hours we are actually in the room. Rick and staff provide this for me, and I have no qualms staying there again or recommending it to my friends. Ryan R.

The hotel was clean, a commfy bed and pillows and had a decent breakfast. Rick & the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to us. Great value for the price.

My husband and son went to a Notre Dame game and stayed here. They said it was very clean and the staff was very nice,especially Rick. The price was also right considering what others were asking. Didn't have the breakfast but it looked ok.

Very personable staff--had a pleasant conversation with the person checking me in and out. The room and hotel were very clean. Amenities close by. Quiet. The person checking people in appeared to start with rooms closest to the exits--so that meant I was close to my car and didn't have to walk too far with luggage. I was surprised by the quality for the price--had stayed at another hotel (different chain) in the area for a similar price and it was well worn and no where near as nice as this. Thank you!

Stayed here for a friends wedding the manager was super friendly . Very accommodating , no hassles checked in and out with no hassle at all the place was clean and non of that funky moldy smell so many hotels have I'd stay here again no doubt!
