The team were helpful right from the get go. It was my year to organise our anniversary. I emailed the team and asked if they could assist me with an itinerary for our stay for two nights. The team took the stress out of everything for me. We had platters, meals, wine tours, massages, movies etc all organised for us......we just had to turn up. If the times didn't end up suiting the team re arranged timing for us. Meals were superb, accommodation excellent. We could not fault anything. Really felt relaxed. I would like to give a special thanks to Ann-marie for organising the itinerary and working with us to make our weekend special. Another big thanks to Eric for his humor and lee for the wine tour. Arman was awesome too

Excellent service, divine food, beautifully appointed suites, and discreet, but friendly staff that are always there to help. We will definitely return on our next visit to Queenstown. We could not have asked for better.

Wonderful stay - stunning location, food and wine. - The service was exceptional - All of the staff need to be congratulated- professional courteous and friendly - the best I have encountered on my trip South this year. Highly recommend the trust the chef food and wine pairing dinner in the private cellar for a group - it was perfect only wished we could have thanked the chef personally as it was so good ! The best of Otago, don’t miss the chance to visit … summer or winter - We (and our entire group) will be back !

Stayed for the weekend. Had wine tasting and complimentary bottle of bubbly first night. Fantastic meal. Hired some mountain bikes/e-bikes and toured around the many bike tracks. Went over a very high swing bridge (slowly and swearing). Husband came a cropper on his bike and was kindly brought back to the lodge by the wine maker of the region. Lots of TLC given by the staff, who couldn't do any more to show how caring they were. Loved it.

We have stayed at The Gibbston Valley twice now and we must say we love it. From the beautifully designed and spotless villas to the gorgeous food and please don’t forget the amazing wine. Also a shout out to all the staff, they are so helpful and friendly without being intrusive, perfect balance. The Gibbston is our happy place and will return again and again. Excellent from top to bottom.

We were there to celebrate our honeymoon - staff were all very friendly throughout the lodge, spa and winery. We did a wine and cheese tour, had dinner and drinks in the lodge, lunch in the winery and visited the spa. Lovely space and we loved our villa! Thank you

We had a lovely time stay at the Gibbston Valley Lodge. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was ever too much trouble. Dinner in the lodge restaurant was delicious. The rooms are private and very comfortable and the setting is just magical. We had a fantastic time on the e-bikes riding the local trail and overall a lovely stay that was just the time out that we’d hoped for.

Customer service is second to none. Location and facilities are top class. On site spa and restaurants make this the perfect venue to relax and unwind. The villa had all the facilities you would want and was nice and private and quiet. The restaurant food, wines and service were top class. Thank you Anne-Marie for your warm and engaging hospitality. We will be back! Karen and Greg

I just visited Gibbston Valley lodge and spa for the first time today for a 60 minute massage with Lorene. The venue was beautiful, but the hospitality and the treatment I received from Lorene was on another level. If you like a firm massage she is your lady. I left there floating on air. I cannot rate the experience enough. I most certainly will be back.

We stayed two nights in the early part of the New Year and stayed in what can only be described as luxury accommodation set within the vines. The lodge and surroundings are quite superb and exceptional value for money. The private studio room is spacious and appointed to a very high standard with every amenity one might expect and is a short walk to the main lodge itself that again is designed and fitted to a very high standard. We enjoyed exceptional breakfasts and evening meals on both days and an interesting complimentary wine tasting. We found all of the staff to be attentive, helpful and friendly. The lodge benefits from two private hot tubs and a gym and is a short walk to the winery and the start of the bike trail. This lodge has been created for the high end overseas
