Friendly staff above average service with warm and cosy comfortable well appointed villas The Restaurant food and service was of high standard, although there was some confusion over a second coffee order at breakfast on our last morning. One point we thought the property had a policy excluding children under 12 years of age, a major reason for booking, but on this occasion it seems to have been waived for a family. Just our luck but the children occupied the villa next door to ours and as is often found in children of this age they were quite noisy. This wasn’t quite what we expected although not sufficiently irritating to require a room change never the less their noisy behaviour was intermittently annoying. Next time we will enquire about the existing child and noise policy before making a booking.

Could not fault this place. The accommodation is top class - each villa is very well appointed and very private; the resort is relaxing and the landscaping is beautiful. We wanted to make the most of our time there so didn’t venture too far away. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and the Lodge very generously left us a beautiful bottle of Gibbston Red wine and chocolates in our room. So thoughtful, thank you. The restaurant was absolutely exquisite and couldn’t be faulted. All the dysfunctional we met were very friendly and helpful. Will defo go back - and can’t wait. 😀

Stunning venue and cuisine and excellent service from a small professional and helpful team. The villas are very generous in size and beautifully appointed. This rates as one of our top value high quality experiences in the South Pacific and will certainly be making this our go to venue when in the region again

We were lucky enough to get a last minute room and spa treatment while in the region for our wedding anniversary. The service, space, rooms, beautiful surroundings made it feel incredibly special. It was such a treat to be there. The food and wine were divine. We will definitely be back.

The staff made this place! Every single staff member was polite, welcoming and extremely accomodating, friendly, professional but at the same time casual to make you feel relaxed and at ease. The rooms are spotless and relaxing, the food…… my gosh, freaking amazing!! We could of eaten all weekend but that wouldn’t of left enough room for the delicious wine! I have never drink and enjoyed so much wine. Thanks to the incredible staff, we know a bit about wine - we would highly recommend this place and we will be back - a slice of paradise, quiet, relaxing, pure bliss - thank you so much for creating such a divine lodge and in such stunning location to top it all off
