Even though arriving a bit later than expected, the welcome by Ali and Nic was warm and heartfelt. We truly enjoyed our stay in their Gibbston room. It was beautiful; the shared area for the guests is a gem of artwork, for each of which Nic or Ali can offer a story. When you leave there is a secret farewell which you need to hear told by Nic.

Thanks Ali and Nic for having us stay at your beautiful lodge. What an amazing place. Views were outstanding. Our suite was just perfect. Breakfast each day was much to look forward to. You are such lovely, thoughtful hosts. The extra mile you went to help us celebrate our anniversary was much appreciated. Loved your knowledge of the area and the interesting stories you had to tell. Nothing was too much trouble!!! Left feeling like we had made new friends

The lodge offers amazing views and comfort! Our room was very spacious and cozy, the bed was also very comfortable. But above all, the hosts, Ali and Nic did an amazing job and that’s a reason to visit again and again!! They welcomed us in a very heartwarming way, they gave us a lot of historic info about the place and suggested us some nice things to do around. We had delicious breakfast everyday. Yummy! They also prepared a great surprise for us which made us feel like we were at home. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!

Cannot fault this property had the most amazing experience and Ali (who runs the lodge) thought of every little detail and welcomed us and nothing was a problem and was so knowledgeable about the surrounding wineries/places to eat etc. We booked the MT Rosa Suite for the three nights, It was beautifully appointed, luxurious and was daily serviced which was kept to a very high standard. The Grapepickers platter was beautifully displayed and was a very generous portion for 2. The daily cook to order breakfast didn't disappoint either. We hired the Rolls Royce for the private wine tour, which was a unique experience we will never forget. A driver took us into town for dinner which we had requested and was very reasonably priced. We can't thank MT Rosa Lodge and team enough for the most memorable stay in the Gibbston valley, we will definitely be back!

As we started the drive up to the lodge we knew this place was going to be special and we weren’t disappointed,,,, Wow what a gem this place . Ali greeted us warmly on arrival , there was a notice board with our names welcoming us and from there it just got better and more special. Our accommodation was stunning , the views from our terrace consisted of mountains, changing sunsets and the rolling vineyards. We stayed 3 nights and spent our last evening with Ali and Nic on their patio , fire roaring , their wine flowing , amazing food platter and lots of laughter,,, wonderful evening creating a special memory. Ali as our host was like being with your mum, sister , daughter or best friend rolled into one ,,, she’s one special lady ,,, and goes out of her way to make your stay there wonderful offering advice and knowledge of places and restaurants to visit. We definitely will return to Mt Rosa Lodge if we are lucky enough to be in that area again.
