I was pleased that they could accomodate my request for the handicap room on first floor. We could not have stayed here otherwise due to stairs required to get to 2nd floor rooms. We were disappointed with the odor of the room. It possibly was caused by the open refrig. which had a tray full of water under the freezer. Maybe it had germy water? The room was larger than average and had numerous electric sockets which was handy for charging devices. Nice clear tv with plenty of channels. Great-looking pool which we didn't use.

Well...disappointing. I've stayed here 2 or 3 times in the past and overall thought it was fine for a Motel 6. The front desk staff has always been very nice and the room has been adequate. My last stay on June 28 was very disappointing and not at all restful, though. I stay at Motel 6 because they accept pets and I travel with 2 dogs. I did not realize they accepted baby elephants, though. I can only assume that it was a baby elephant stomping back and forth in the room above mine until 1 a.m. I think they should require elephants to stay in first floor rooms so guests in the 1st floor rooms can sleep, Of course I'm joking about the elephant part, but whoever it was up above my room kept me awake for a long time. The worst part of the stay was that when the room above mine used their toilet, water leaked through the ceiling vent onto my toilet. I found that out at 1 a.m. while I was sitting on it. That was pretty unpleasant and not at all conducive to getting to sleep as I thought about what had been dripping on me. In the morning I was relieved to see that the drops of water on my toilet seat were clear, not yellow, but still. Euw... I told the clerk at the front desk about it when I checked out but based on his response I'm not sure that information went any farther. I also wrote to Motel 6 management a few days ago and haven't heard anything back from them. I'd normally stay at this motel for my return trip to Maryland, but um... I'm thinking not. Beware Room 104

This place is a dive. It reeks of smoke and apparently they have no quiet hours for guests who want to sleep! Midnight had small children running the halls screaming, running and playing, parents screaming at them! I love dogs but this dog was placed in the middle of the hallway instead of the end! Seriously not worth the money! No sleep at all that night!

This is about 50 miles from where we've been living for the last three months. It has been cold and rainy for days and days and days but with a very hot and humid midpoint of the day for a few hours. But during all of our free time, it's cold and wet and miserable. So, we looked online for a hotel with an indoor pool and found this one. We CALLED FIRST to verify that they had a pool and that it was currently open -- they told us that it definitely was open. We made some stops in St. Louis... grabbed our bags; we even carried in pool towels and the clerk didn't say a word. We dumped our stuff off in the room and quickly changed... We went to pool area and the door was locked and then we saw that there was no water in the pool and there were a couple of tools around. We understand that pools need maintenance but this has happened to us before -- so, we always call first if we have other options --- there were cheaper motels but like I said, we chose this one specifically for the pool. Yeah, we were very upset. We went to our room, dressed, and went out for dinner. We came back... that's when we saw that our bed linens were disgusting... there were spots and stains and hairs on the bed. The bottom of the shower was pretty nasty too. I ripped off the sheet and top blanked to take a picture of the SOILED SHEET and there was A PAIR OF SOCKS in the bed. Yes, a guy's pair of dirty socks. We grabbed our stuff and asked for a refund. The clerk said we'd have to wait until the next day to speak to the manager. We left. We're going to call the manager and our credit card company tomorrow. This place is disgusting.

The rooms are spacious and clean. All of the staff are friendly and good at their job. Even the housekeepers. I love that it has an indoor pool and hot tub. It is right next to two great restaurants too. This is also the lowest priced motel that allows pets and has truck parking. I LOVE IT!!! I would definitely stay here again.
