I loved the quiet location of this hotel overlooking the ocean. There is a regular bus service to take you the Lido but you can walk this in twenty minutes and enjoy the real authentic architecture and people on the way. Has a nice breakfast.
We stayed here as part of our Tour. Situated on the Lido, so it is in a very quiet location. The Hotel is an older one but it does have some interesting character about it.We had a large room with a double bed and single...More

We travelwd by train from Florence. From the train station in Venice we took a water taxi to Lido. It was not expensive and the boatride was lovely. Once in Lido, we went across the street from the pier and took the local bus to the hotel. There are cabs available once off the water taxi but the best feature of riding the bus was that we were able to see other neighborhoods in Lido on our way to the hotel. I realize that this sounds complicated but it was remarkably easy for even the member of our group with mobility challenges. Good luck.
