We’ve been here several times and find it outstanding. We go to the theatre and find it affordable and have never had an issue. On our last stay there was a couple from a west coast state that whined and cried about everything. This campground is well located and very enjoyable, if you want a five star hotel, go to SanFrancisco.

We took the family up for the weekend and enjoyed floating the river, waking into town, and relaxing at our campsite. Owners were easy to work with and the campsites were spaced out well with plenty of room. If you want to camp in the Crouch/Graden Valley area, this is the spot! Starlight Theater is next door to the campsite if you want to catch a show at night. Like every campsite in the summer months, mosquitos are an issue so bring the bug spray. Bring a river tube or raft to float the river from town back to the campsite where you can get out and walk to your campsite.

I expected the campground to be primitive for tent camping but couldn't find adequate pictures of the place before my arrival, so I've included several. Most tent spots are mown and cleared tall brush,so you generally have visual privacy for the most part. You drive around, find a spot, set up camp and then check in with George at his fifth wheel trailer near the entrance to pay within 1 hour of arriving. As of June 2016, the price was $11 per tent, paid in cash. There are some spots with very basic fire pits, but not many. And some fire pits are tiny. Much of the campground sits along a pond just off the highway, so mosquitos are a big problem in warmer months. (June in our case) Come prepared. They have some powered rv spots, too, but not a ton. Permanent toilets are near the entrance and a few porta potties a short walk from tent sites. Overall a cheap place to crash.

Our RV campsite and others had several nails all over the ground. Watch your tires! And while the outdoor theater is right next door, if you have been driving all day and want to sleep, don't stay here. The show went until after 11pm on a weeknight. Restrooms are a bunch of portapotties.

O.M.G. YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS ONE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS TRUE!!!! On July 26, 2016, we pulled into Riverpond. We drove thru the entire campground, picked out the site that we wanted to stay at.The owner was not anywhere to be found.Which was o.k.So we followed the instructuions on his "RULE BOARD" for camping, we paid for an entire week in advance. We put our awning out, set up our camp chairs, table, etc. and we locked up our camper. On Friday July 29, we returned to a NIGHTMARE!!!! Our camper had been removed from the camp site!!! It was sitting at the front entrance to the Campground!!! Of course George (owner) is there, and he apologizes to us, and tells us that a returning guest is coming in this weekend, and they have been coming there for 5 years, so guess what????? Owner took it upon himself to hook up to our camper, pack up all of our things and move us out !!!! WHO DOES THIS!!!!!!! We are still considering a police report!!!But, at the very least I want to give fair notice to any future camp goers.Long story short, we went to the campground just to the right of his, Starlight RV and camping, she is the nicest lady, I vented about my expierence, and she put us up in a better site, for much less money!!!! Shame on you Riverpond, if you are going to own a business, I suggest you know what you can do within your legal rights!!!

Ok the RV/camper area was nice enough. The tent area was dirt & brush. May be because it was in September. The brush does allow for more privacy between camping spots. The creek runs right behind the camping area. The area we chose was maybe 50 yards away. Animals in the brush at night gets you close to nature, but nothing bothered us. Bathroom was a portable toilet with no showers or hand washing area. Town was close, but not really walking distance. Honor system in place when we arrived, due to attendant being out. It is very cheap to stay here in a tent, so I still recommend it if your passing through.

We loved our time at Riverpond. George the Owner is a precious man and really looks out for the ladies camping on their own. Our time by the river was great and so close to starlight mtn theater. We sat with chairs in the river for wonderful R&R. There is no sewer hookups and no water at the site but there is a place to fill up . They do have electric at some of the sites. Only porta potty and one pit toilet, no showers. Walking distance to village of Crouch . Our time has always been wonderful as long as you know what to expect.
