The stay and condo were amazing !!! What made me not give five stars was the entiled blond waitress in the morning if mother's day!! She was the rudest person I had met!! She completely ignored me at the counter after she had just rang someone up. Left after she helped them like if I wasnt standing there! Didn't even a knowledge me! I wonder if it's discriminating since I was mexican!!!! I mean I know u are short staffed but to really keep people thay run off your customers like that. She never asked me if I needed anything or even tried to pretend to see me. If she was working for me she wouldnt have a job anymore. I as a manger or owner would rather work it than have people like that represent me!!!

The Terrace Lakes Resort golf course, thermally heated swimming pool & restaurant are lovely. Don't be tempted though to stay across the street at this small motel unless a teeny room in a 1960's modular building with ticky tacky wall decorations, bad lighting, worn towels, sparse bedding, etc is appealing to you. I borrowed sheets & a towel from a friend rather than use those in the room which appeared to have been inadequately washed since I found hairs on the sheets & washcloths. The plastic lampshade was melted on one side. The thermostat for the electric heaters malfunctioned, first overheating the room & then letting it get so cold I woke up several times in the night to adjust the settings.
Do ask to stay in the cabins or condos also available from Terrace Lake Resort Motel management. Others in my business group stayed in these & found everything just fine.
Do enjoy the mountain setting, quiet nights that this facility in Garden Valley (Crouch, actually) Idaho offers. Spectacular scenery, great little shops & eateries; fantastic new community library/activity center. Starlight Mountain Theatre offers spectacular outdoor theatrical entertainment during the summer months.
An alternative place to stay would be the Garden Mountain B&B at 41 Anderson Creek Rd. I met the new owner & had a tour of her facility. All top notch.

This was my first visit. The staff was very friendly. When we pulled up to the motel we didn't know where we could park because there weren't any parking spots and a bunch of rocks all over the place. The motel is a double wide trailer made into 8 "rooms." The room had a queen size bed and a side table with a lamp on it, and a 7inch tv mounted on the wall. They wouldn't be able to fit anything else in the room if they tried. Our over head lighting did not turn on. The room was clean for the most part but had a dead bug in the bathroom. I tried to shower but I couldn't get to water to be warm. It would either be scolding hot or ice cold. I ended up washing my hair in the sink. We could also hear people in the other rooms. I know this is normal with hotels but we could have conversation with the couple staying next to us. It was pointless to even have the walls in between the rooms. The pool was very nice but the changing/restrooms needed some cleaning. The bar located above the restaurant was awesome. Great live music and it had a great vibe. I would come back to Terrace Lakes again to enjoy the pool and bar but will find somewhere to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in Cabin #10 and enjoyed the self-contained privacy of this cute, rustic ensuite queen room. The bed was soft and the heater worked well. We enjoyed the numerous TV channels available as well as the plentiful hot water for the shower. We'll be back for sure!

There are several types of accommodations here as well as private rentals. I stayed at a private home, but the resort offers many things to do and the golf course, hot springs pool, restaurant, bar and other features are open to the public. You need to buy a day use pass to the hot springs pool, which is warm and open year round. Obviously have to pay for golf too, but the area offers many things to do for families and is near white water outfitters in Banks, and the city of Crouch.

Sight unseen we unfortunately were too late on the road to try to stay elsewhere.
I booked a “room with kitchenette” thinking it might be a larger room ( it wasn’t) and amenities (there wasn’t even one paper plate or plastic spoon nor dish soap). The walls on all sides are paper thin do we heard a lot through three walls. It might be okay that the natural spring pool smells like sulphur, but the tap water shouldn’t.... The nearest neighboring homes/shacks/trailers are disgusting and quite frankly, scary.
Wine and dinner on the balcony was quite good with pleasant service.
Not worth the trip there; maybe the pool or golf course is okay. We didn’t stick around....

Other than the restaurant and desk staff seeming a bit harried, the cabin we stayed in was warm and comfortable. It had a fridge and a coffee pot, a nice shower (more efficient than spacious), and a very small TV. Be aware that there’s no WiFi in the cabins and that cell signal is spotty. But if you’re looking to get away this’ll do it!

Can’t think of any socially redeeming thing to say about the place. Run, don’t walk to somewhere else. Room was EXTREMELY small, beat up, couldn’t use the water because o very suspect odor & taste! “ Kitchenette “ was devoid of ANY kitchen amenities like dishes, silverware, glasses or dish towels & soap.

I love Terrace Lakes Resort. The golf course, pool, bar, restaurant are great but the so called motel across the street is terrible. They are comprised of an old mobile home divided into sections. You can hear everything going on with your neighbors. Don't stay here.

We bought a "Play-n-Stay Resort" package off the radio. We paid extra for a cabin, and they put us in the smaller of the two cabins available, even though we were the only guests that night. I'm not sure what the picture is on this site, but it is not the motel or cabins. The cabin was poorly constructed, sparsely furnished and very unclean. There was no landscaping or parking spaces around the cabins or motel, just a lot of dirt, weeds and trash. When we checked in, no one knew what our deal contained, as the voucher had no information on it. The staff finally decided, after many phone calls, to give us a $20 food credit for our meal. Meals ranged from $13-$25 for dinner. The food was so terrible, we drove into the little town to eat breakfast the next day. Definitely not worth the money they are charging. The golf course was great on the back nine, but just okay on the front nine. The views from the course were wonderful. Overall, I would say, enjoy the golf, but find someplace else to eat and stay. This is not a "Resort" experience, so buyer beware!
