To begin with, this is not the Hilton or the Marriott so don't expect that. You are paying for a cabin in the mountains and that is what you get.
We had cabin #2 with a kitchenette. It is very dated and the furnishings are old and worn but they all functioned as expected.
It had a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and it was clean. Plenty of hot water. Plenty towels were provided and while they were clean, they were very thin.
The Kitchenette had a full size stove/oven, fridge, coffee pot, microwave, small sink and counter. It all worked and it was so nice to have the full size fridge with a freezer to hold our ice and food. There were also pans to cook in and plates, glasses etc to eat on the little table. There was also an outside table on the front porch of the cabin.
The bed was good and we slept well. Again the quilt and sheets were old and worn but they were clean.
There is also a window unit air conditioner. It was hot, near 100 F every day so that made it very nice inside.
The cabin was clean but could have used a deep clean. The lady that runs it is not there all the time. When we got there she was gone but left a key in an envelope. She offered us new towels when I talked to her but there were plenty in the bathroom when we got there.
I was happy with the cabin for the price we paid. I would stay there again.

My friend and I went to Crouch to explore the hiking trails and hot springs. What a great valley for this! Wander Inn Motel & Cabins was an ideal place to stay. The price couldn't be beat at $55/night. Sits right in the small town, right off the highway. Cute rustic cabins with with great hospitality by Maggie. She gave us a warm country greeting. Provided us with maps, directions, and suggestions to fulfill our adventure interests.
We stayed in cabin #1 that has a small kitchenette and a cute porch with chairs and a little table. We enjoyed an evening night cap and breakfast on the porch. The weather was gorgeous! The cabin was clean and provided what we needed. No blows and whistles, but we didn't come for that. We came for the great outdoors, fresh air, and adventure.
I look forward to going back to Crouch for more hiking and hot springs while staying at Wander Inn Motel & Cabins.

Quaint but excellent value. Old mountain lodge feel. Quaint but clean. Heater/air conditioner unit worked great. No pool or fitness center, this is a mountain motel, not a resort.

Three Bears Inn is by far the best and nicest place to stay in Garden Valley & Crouch. The nicest and cleanest accommodations and great and friendly customer service. My wife and I highly recommend staying at Three Bears Inn. We already booked another trip and will be staying at Three Bears Inn.

Nothing else was available. Horrible smell. Everything in the room was broken or not working. We were afraid to bathe in the rust dripping tub or the filthy shower. The ceiling fan looked dangerous.

From the first time you pull into Crouch, Idaho you notice that you are in a very unique place. A very short distance from Garden Valley but in out view a GREAT spot. The room was clean and had a good smell. Came with TV, microwave, coffee pot, wine bottle opener, refrigerator. All in a very cute cabin in this great place. We stayed several days and never got bored.....too many things to do in the area. Remember, you are in the mountains and as we were looking for was a Great place to lay our heads and relaxing morning out on the deck... We got them both.. Owner is a very nice lady and neither one of us can say anything except Great things about her, keep it up. Personal note lol...Your jalapeños and tomato plants still look better than ours... Inside word to owner.. Hope this helps and that you also enjoy this little Gold mine in Crouch Idaho.. We did and we will be back.... See you soon..

If you are looking to stay at the Hilton, Garden Valley probably isn't for you. If you want to get away for the weekend, do some shopping, and some good eating, head on up, you wont be disappointment. To start, the owner of the wander in was one of the nicest people I have met in a long time. She was very willing to go the extra mile for us, and had lots of information on the surrounding area. She recommended hitting up the snow tube hill which was a blast! We also went up to terrace lakes and swam in their amazing pool. The rooms were what you would expect in a motel, but clean and smelled fine. The beds were a little hard, and the tv was a little small, but for the amount of time we were actually in our room, it was just fine. Overall, nice owner, nice place to sleep, and amazing prices for the area. We will be back.

Maggie, the owner, is extremely nice and helpful with tips re: restaurants etc. We had 2 rooms, #4 & #5. Both had a very musty smell with the odor of urine (presumably dog) and smoke with the attempt to cover up by a perfume smell. The carpet in #5 was extremely stained and dirty. The carpet in #4 was a darker color and less noticeable. The water ran rusty and black hairs were found in both the bathroom and bedding in #5. AC units were mounted in the windows with plywood covering the remainder of the window. The photo on TripAdvisor was obviously not from the Wander Inn in Garden Valley, but we knew that before we left. Sorry I didn't take any pics. Also the cost of $65 was an indicator of you get what you pay for, but we could not find anywhere else to stay for just one night. We were just hoping for a no frills clean spot to sleep. If you're not particular, the management is very friendly and the location is very conveniently located to restaurants, grocery, shops and several outdoor activities. Has potential to be a quaint, rustic place to stay, if the carpet gets pulled, wooden floors installed and upholstered couches replaced with wooden chairs.

We loved our room, actually there were 2 rooms and we loved them both! Didn't get to spend a lot of time in the room because we went swimming, then out to dinner and a walk to the store. Maggie was a wonderful host and she's our first reason for a return engagement. Very clean rooms at an excellent rate. See you soon Maggie!
