The rooms are newly remodeled and very clean. The shower was awesome with the water pressure. Very quiet and comfortable. The property was close to everything and the amenities they offered such as laundry rooms was very handy. The staff was always available and helpful.

Recently booked a room for my husband for a scouting trip and he said it was great. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The best part about it is how incredible the customer experience was. Erin was so amazing at accommodating a last minute trip, and she even went above and beyond and called to let us know that items were left in the room and she would get them back to us. Amazing people, awesome service. Highly recommend!

This may be an older style motel, however, don’t let this dissuade you from staying here.
Rooms have been completely renovated. Everything is new. Comfortable and quiet. The only time I heard anything is when the truck parked next to my room started, but still wasn’t very loud.
Staff - Erin was fantastic. I had arrived when she was away from the desk. The number was on the door to call. I did and I was able to get a room immediately. Thank you Erin!

This is a more basic hotel but very clean. It had a great shower and the whitest, fluffiest towels I’ve ever had in a hotel. The location was in a beautiful spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s apparent that the property is well cared for. Thanks for the great stay.

Thank you so much for your review! Since you last visited, we have done a complete renovation on all of the rooms! If you thought the new towels were nice, come and see the new beds, bedding, and decor! We would love to see you again this summer.

If you are traveling with pets, this little motel is very pet-friendly! Rooms have a refrigerator & coffee maker. Only negative were massive stains on the carpet in our room. The carpet in my parents' room (they were travelling with us) was o.k. Very good breakfast next door at the Hwy Cafe and food was moderately priced. Motel was perhaps a little over-priced, but was less than others in the area. Cascade is north of Boise and about 26 miles south of McCall. Beautiful area!

I've stayed twice in the last 2 weeks. I've stayed here many times in the past. But I was pleasantly surprised recently to see that Justin (new owner) has replaced the beds and mattresses. He's working on upgrading every room. Cascade has limited accommodations, and it's difficult to get a room sometimes. But the Alpine Lodge and Motel has always found room for me and my pets. All the rooms have a mic, coffee, TV, 'fridge, and great service. Call Justin at (208) 352-4948 and book your room, if you need a kitchenette, with pots, pans, plates and utensils, ask Justin, if not spoken for, he'll get you fixed up. Fish On!!!

I have to say that the Pinewood Lodge Motel was a great place to have your honeymoon because it was quiet. The management made our stay very welcoming. The staff was very kind and willing to help if there was anything we needed. The room was very clean and the room smelled fresh. The outside of the motel was very tidy and kept up and lit well at night. I would refer people to stay at the Pinewood Lodge Motel any day. Thank you

Pinewood Motel is an unexpected pleasant CLEAN economical surprise at the entrance of Cascade from the southside. Excellent signage alerts you right away of a solid motel. Dave, the owner and manager, is as good as it gets for lodging business. He is fastidious with the cleanliness of the rooms and wants to make sure you are as comfortable as can be when home away from home. I have to say it is the first hotel/motel room I've ever entered and not smelled that "smell" of hotels/motels if you know what I mean. I just smell "clean". Is it luxurious? No but it is definitely comfortable, quiet and peaceful. He goes as far as to disinfect the doorknobs, remotes and any other highly used item of the room. You are staying in the heart of beautiful mountains and having a motel with personable service, great price and all the amenities to meet your needs is a rare find indeed! I highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay there next time I venture to the heart of Idaho.

We greatly appreciate the nice comments. As this review mentions, we do our very best to make sure that your stay is comfortable. Regarding cleanliness, this is at the top of our list. As we all know, when we are on the road and staying at motels or hotels, we have no idea what is clean, and what is not. Considering this, we go to great extent making sure everything is freshly washed and disinfected. This would include towels, tubs, toilets, linens, pillow cases, and the list goes on. Yes... we also disinfect the remote control, door handles, and light switches. On top of this, we make sure the rooms smell nice. To me, nothing is worse than a bad odor when you enter a room for the night. We are doing our best to keep rates low, so come by and spend a night or two. We are very close to town, with the Payette River and Cascade Lake very nearby.

We loved our two night stay at the Pinewood Lodge. The owner and his brother were so friendly and helpful, and the room was super clean. Great amenities: refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and a decent number of TV channels. They didn't have an icemaker, so the owner buys bags of ice so that he can provide ice for his guests. Extremely dog friendly, and the RV park behind the motel is a great place to walk your dog. They waived the $10 pet fee for the second night, even though we warned them that our dog had tracked in some dirt. Loved this place!

We do our best to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. At your request, we will supply extra towels, coffee, etc. All rooms are supplied with a small refrigerator, a microwave, coffee pot and coffe, cable tv, heat and air conditioning. You will also find a couple bars of soap, along with some shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion. At your request, we can also fill your ice bucket, which is located in every room. We do accept well trained pets, and rest assured, after each check-out, we clean each room as if there were never a pet in the room. This is the reason we charge the $10 fee per pet.... to make sure we can spend the extra time on the room removing any hair and so forth. We look forward to each and every guest.... and greatly appreciate the business.

We stopped at the Pinewood by chance. We met Dave the new owner. Dave said the motel had been neglected in the past and that he is renovating the property room by room. The room we stayed in was clean (Dave even disinfects the TV remotes), convenient, and priced well. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We had our two dogs with us and they were welcome at the Pinewood. We enjoyed our stay and went back for a 2 day stay 2 weeks later. Even though the motel is highway adjacent, the room was quiet and we slept well. The Pinewood reminded us of small town America, chairs in front of the rooms, we sat and chatted with other guests. We will be back.
