Nice location and the Quality Inn and Econo Lodge are in the same building. You will also pay the same price I imagine for both. We got a good value on a suite and the sign said the hotel had recently been renovated. The room was clean but some of the furniture was older. Nice staff and breakfast was continental at this time due to COVID-19.

After checking in, I tried to connect to the internet, never did work. Tried using a laptop and two different phones, none connected unless I left the room and went around the corner. Clerk was not very helpful in resolving. Fortunately, the cell signal is strong here for my att phone and the wife's Verizon.
The entry door was very dirty as seen in the photo. I cleaned it with some soap and a wash cloth, a job housekeeping should have done. My wife had clean some in the bathroom and ended up with a very dirty washcloth too. The toilet seat is loose too.
The bed seems ok and the a/c and the fridge worked well.
Fix the internet dead spots and improve your cleaning and the place is ok.

Bring your own internet device, I have stayed in 4 different hotels in Thomasville and all of them blow. Different configurations on how you connect but in each case it is a horror to connect and stay connected. I run a couple of networks in St. Augustine at hotels and RV parks and I don't get calls or have problems. I keep it Simple / Stupid. This one was simple / stupid the stupid part was that once you connected you could not get anywhere. It is like Hooray you understand how to connect to a network. Congrats! Oh you want to get to the internet. I don't know how to help you with that.
Bring your own internet device as a for sure backup plan.

Total check in time about 50 minutes.
First room 417 had a quiet AC but no light bulbs in the lamps. How can cleaning miss the light bulbs. Also, no refrigerator. Switched room to 419.
Loud AC
Hot water was a few degrees over warm. I had it all the way on hot and still needed it a lot hotter.
Room looked clean but was not. Photo of wash cloth after I wiped headboard. (attached)
Feet were black on bottom after walking bare foot for about 20 minutes. Took shower and saw black water running down the drain.
Put socks on. Left them in the room black when I left.
Big gap under the door. Hot air coming in. (I put 2 pillows down to block it)
Trash all over the back parking lot.
3AM when I left because of the outside light coming into the room causing me not to sleep, parking lot was quite busy. Cars coming in and out. 3 people sitting on their car drinking.

First, your notice that the hotel is a 100% smoke-free facility is an outright fabrication. I checked in on 5/3 and was given room 304 which REEKED of cigarette smoke, not to mention the cigarette butt that was under one of the beds. I was moved to room 302 which also smelled of stale cigarettes but not as strongly as the other room. May I also add that I'm hypersensitive to cigarette smoke? Anyway, upon moving to the second room, there was no iron, not enough towels, and a non-functional smoke alarm that seemed to have been vandalized. If I did not have my mother and child with me, I would have slept in my car. I felt dirty sleeping in that bed and am very upset that I'm paying anything for this. Thankfully it was only for one night. I almost forgot to mention as well, that one of the bed coverings had several holes in it that looked like they were made from cigarettes. It is totally unsanitary. I mentioned there was no iron, well there was an ironing board, and to iron my clothes for the function I drove five hours to attend, I had to borrow one from the adjoining Quality Inn. There was a hole in the bathroom wall, and the drain for the bathtub looked disgusting. I saw a man "cleaning" and he was in and out of the rooms with a cigarette hanging from his lips. Ugh!
I'm thoroughly disgusted, I will never stay in an Econo Lodge again, and I will be posting about my experience on every social media outlet I can find.

My husband and I decided to take a weekend break in Thomasville,to visit antique place look at their roses etc. We drove around to different motels and hotels, then as we had made a stop at Walmart noticed Econolodge,so we went it, greeted with a smile, and very courteous desk clerk. Asked what we were looking for. What a change from the other places!! Told us we could check out the area and the rooms which we did. Pool area and garden is just beautiful, we were hooked. Decided to check in. Nothing but extreme courteous. Went to our room. near the pool, very clean, bathroom looked as if it had just be redone. PERFECT. We had planned on overnight, but place was so nice we stayed an extra night. Staff is great, pool and garden area is great, room very clean. What more can you ask for....We would highly recommend this location, forgot to mention that their rate was very comparable even cheaper than a lot of the others. Keep up the good work Econolodge.Thank you for a wonderful Mothers Day weekend for me.

Far from being a luxury hotel, it was well worth the $50 per night we paid. Although the room could have used some regular maintenance, the staff was incredibly nice, the housekeeper was charming, and the room was clean. If you are just looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head at the end of the night, it is a great choice.

Was in town on business, and chose this hotel for the price. Clean room, great, spacious suite, and amenities. The best part of the evening, was Rene's welcome wit and sense of humor. While being very professional, her natural ability to talk to a guest in a personable manner, is something missing in today's society. If I find my way back to the area, this will be my home away from home.
