We were reluctant to try this new chain, but were very pleased. It is an IHG property, brand new. We liked the format and the price. The rooms were small, but well done. We had a desk, an office chair, nice covers and pillows, free wifi, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, a refrigerator, continental breakfast from 6 to 10 am. a pool and hot tub, a workout room.at it What it did NOT have: a coffee maker in the room (machine in the lobby to grind beans and make fresh coffee by the cup 24/7), a microwave (one is available in the lobby), no ice bucket.....ever wondered when those things were cleaned last? There is an ice maker in the lobby with a stack of tubs that look like the popcorn tubs at the movie...all fresh and new, sitting beside it. No closet, but a luggage rack and hooks along the wall to hang stuff on. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our refrigerator wasn't cold enough so the night clerk came to the room, pulled the fridge out and adjusted the control on the back.This is a great place for a good night's sleep and back on the road or work. With the modest price, we no doubt will do it again.

My family and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through to visit some friends in Augusta Georgia. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel! The Avid hotel was a game changer, so refreshing! Very open with great new concepts. Very clean and organized. The staff was exceptional and so friendly and welcoming! I'd have to say my favorite things would be the bathroom and the breakfast. The bathrooms had the higher-end concept of Glassdoor showers and backlit mirror. The breakfast was delicious and practical with the best part being the fresh ground coffee beans. I give this hotel a five out of five and would look for an Avid Hotel to stay at in the future.

The rooms aren't big but there's enough room. The beds were really comfortable. No microwave, but one is downstairs and there is a fridge. WiFi works great, pillows were great, big tv, bathrooms clean. We really liked it. I can't comment on the breakfast because I am assuming it will change when Covid 19 lightens its grip on the country. But what was there was individually wrapped and fine - bagels, turkey sausage egg and cheese, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, toast, fruit, and juice. There aren't any dressers at least not in our room but a desk and chair. We were perfectly happy and would definitely come back. It's right across from a Walmart and plaza so if you forgor anything or hungry, no worries.

Overall, not a bad property. The room had 2 queen beds. The rooms are small. Very little room to move around. If you are only there to sleep, shower or dress, no problem. I would not recommend this type of place for toddlers.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked. My wife complained that the AC turning on and off throughout the night disturbed her. She is a light sleeper. I did not hear them. The room was well insulated from outside noise.
They have shampoo, conditioner and body wash anchored the wall in the shower and bathroom. No small bottles or bar soaps. I prefer bar soaps. The shampoo was a little more flowery fragrance than I would have preferred. So, bring your own guys.
All of this was fine. My reason for a rating of 3 is breakfast. Simply awful. They had pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches served hot, but they were lousy. The rest is individual serving packaged cereal, oatmeal, granola bars. A juice machine had 3 kinds of juice. They did have bananas for fresh fruit. I get that this is a budget property but the breakfast really is nasty. There is a Waffle House, Starbucks and a couple other places near by. I should have spent the money and done one of those.
So, for the room and service at the price point, I would be willing to stay again, but I would go elsewhere for breakfast.

Well I haven't written a review in a while, I apologize for that. This needs to be said though. We checked into our hotel and almost immediately had to go to our venue. After we arrived back at the hotel, on our way back to our room there was an awful smell in the hallway, UGH!! O.k. strike one, smell wasn't there when we first arrived. Pulled down the bedding to go to sleep and OMG the sheets were DIRTY and obviously they were not changed after the previous guests left. Should have taken a picture!! Called management and the evening registration gentleman brought clean sheets Not pillowcases and changed the sheets. Advised us to tell the manager in the morning when we checked out. Of course he apologized and gave us a credit....$10.00 off the bill. HOW Generous of him. Guess we will not be staying there again!

We booked here based on it being an IHG property and were pleasantly surprised with the modern and clean atmosphere. coffee, tea and water is complementary, and the grab & go breakfast is quite decent. Well worth it

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if not for what we felt like was a lack of attention to cleaning. The desk clerk told me this hotel opened in Jan 2020, so pretty new. The tile in the bathroom is dark, so dirt doesn't show, so I guess it doesn't get mopped. We spilled a little water on the bathroom floor and used a towel to dry it. The towel was filthy after wiping the floor. The breakfast area floor was so sticky, my shoes were stuck to it and that was at opening time for breakfast. I do like the concept of this new chain with no carpet in the room. I also like the nice blackout shades that really do keep out all light. The staff was friendly and the wifi worked well. The shower was large with a nice large shower door instead of a curtain. There is no tub, if that matters to you with small kids. The room is fairly compact with only a desk chair and a bench for seating. There are lots of places to eat nearby and a Walmart across the street. I would stay here again but would also wear shoes in the room.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It’s very clean and comfortable. It seems brand new. . I thought the breakfast would be very simple, but they had veggie omelettes, sausage egg bites and a variety Jimmy Dean biscuit sandwiches. The staff were very nice. There were some very loud teens jumping and banging doors at midnight, so my husband had to tell them to settle down. But great place over all.

This is a new construction, clean and in a good area. But the rooms lack closet space or ANY place to put your belongings, you get hooks on the walls! Breakfast is horrible, no laundry room as well. This place was obviously built with cost number one concern, customers obviously somewhere else. My organization will definitely be staying somewhere else in the future.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at this Avid location. The customer service was fantastic (very friendly and helpful staff!); the rooms were immaculate (comfy bed, Dove products in the bathroom, fridge, iron, and hairdryer); and the breakfast was exactly what I needed to start my day (bagels, breakfast sandwiches, egg white omelets, cereal, etc.). I really loved the market, which includes snack and drink items to purchase, as well as the free coffee/tea bar which is available 24/7. Great location, too! Will definitely come back again.
