This hotel was a little disappointing. First night we arrived, front desk associate was very friendly and helpful, didn’t get her name, but she was really very outgoing and helpful. Breakfast was terrible! Website said waffles, and there were signs advertising them but there was not a waffle maker, very poor choices, got there at 9:30 the first morning and they were already clearing food, I was lucky enough to get a muffin. Second morning, we went to breakfast at 8:30, the employee was sitting in a corner booth on her phone, there were no bagels or English muffins out, fork and spoon containers were empty, we had to ask her to refill and she seemed very put out. Employees were parked in the handicap parking spaces closest to entrance, no handicap tags or placards were displayed, I am a handicapped individual and had to park further away and it was pouring rain! I mentioned it to the front desk and she just ignored me. (I know they were employees because I saw one go to her car to get something). We booked for 4 ppl, there were only two towels in the room. Conditioner bottle was completely empty and dirty cups were left in our room. We were also overcharged for our rooms, they did correct that after I showed where I booked at a cheaper price. Most of the staff was very friendly, only a couple were a little unpleasant. We were really hoping this would be a great place to stay as we have family very close and need a convenient place to stay when visiting. I know it is new, we might give it another try, but we were definitely not very impressed on our first visit.…
What a great hotel... never tried staying at a Tru Hilton property before this one. The room was so clean, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was perfect. I was so impressed with this property. We will definitely stay at another Tru property in the future.
The front desk people are not friendly at all. The hotel is fairly new so it is clean. I like the modern design of the rooms. We stay here sometimes when checking on the construction of our new home. I would give it much higher marks if the employees were friendly.
Save your money and time and look elsewhere..After booking hotel for 2 nights we didnt reach till next day due to husband job.Denied our room, service or even a care by the no help front desk associate. She informed us we went in as a no show and charge both nights even though hotel looked completely empty with employees sitting in guest area. Never book with them again. Wanted to charge us for the same night that already paid for. Left and went to another hotel, the site I booked with even called and siad they couldnt believe level of customer slackness..
We were greeted by Laverne. Excellent customer service!! She is a gem! Second, the room was super clean and beds comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again. I never make reviews but thought I’d take the time to do a shout out!
