*2 different non-smoking rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke. Both smelled musty, too.
*The shower head is so low that I had to contort to wash my hair. i am only 5'9".
*There were only 2 smallish bath towels provided for a 4 person room. When I asked the woman from housekeeping for more towels, she replied, "I don't know why there are only 2; you'll have to ask the front desk. I just work here." Direct quote!!!
*Advertised for free internet- connection is poor or fair in various locations around DN property. Connectivity is spotty and inconsistent.
* There is no table in either of the double rooms I was in so you must eat on the beds. I did not utilize the continental breakfast included with the room.
* There was a desk with one chair next to the TV. However, there are no power outlets nearby so you have to use your computer either in bed or at the vanity area. I guess that one person could eat there:).
*The room was roughly $65 for one night. Not too bad when compared to Atlanta, but other hotels have better guest friendly rooms.
I live in Atlanta, but was raised in Elberton. This hotel is not anything as I expected and is substandard by any measure. However, Beverly was outstanding and really did try to accommodate, even moving me to a new room when the first one smelled of smoke and the internet was so spotty. She was incredibly nice and compassionate and her attitude never wavered during my interactions with her. She might be the only good thing this place has going for it:)
Not really clean.
