Detailed Reviews
After looking at the nudist and clothing optional places around our area we decided to give Serendipity a try. We enjoyed a great day over the July 4th Weekend and we are glad that we did. Serendipity, or “The Dip” as it’s nicknamed, is a great nudist destination and I emphasize nudist because every person there was appropriately (un)dressed. Of course first timers can test their nerve but beyond that, nudity is the norm. There were no “clothed eyes” to make anyone feel uncomfortable and we really appreciate that! We can’t wait to go back. If you are looking for a nice getaway for a day or longer you should check out this place!

My first visit was in August of 2017. This was exactly what I was looking for. Rustic, laid back, woods all around, great amenities, and friendly folks. After my first hour, I bought a membership, and now I live full time in this little piece of Heaven.

This is a place that is very out of the way and the staff and fellow nudist are soooo very friendly you won't ever want to leave. The cabins are wonderful. The A/C is sooooo cold you will wish you were wearing clothes, but during the heat of the day it was great. They have hiking trails and the pools is very very relaxing. IF you have ever wanted to try hanging out in the buff this is a great place to give it a whirl. The birds and butterflies are everywhere. I am so glad we gave it a try and don't let the hick-a-billie photo scare you off.... thanks for the great week!

This resort is very friendly and relaxing family atmosphere our whole family enjoys a visit we have stayed in several of the accommodations this wasn’t our first visit we did notice that the mattress in any of the overnight accommodations we’ve tried were quite obviously cheap not to be picky but between the plastic wrap noises which is understandable and the lack of any cushion on the mattress it is hard to get comfortable maybe bring a comforter to help with that and I don’t understand what’s going on with the couches in the places we have tried it’s almost like they are broke no support at all for your back or bottom. I’m not exaggerating either. They just need to upgrade the furniture I’ve never seen anything like all this uncomfortable furniture even donated furniture would help doesn’t need to be fancy at all. We enjoy the activities and the management is awesome very friendly always plenty of things to do. You won’t regret your day visits just don’t expect too much as far as overnight comforts.

We stopped in to check it out and were severely disappointed. Don't waste your money or time. I witnessed the male half of a interracial couple rudeness toward an overweight woman. Later the same couple were in the pool ignoring their small kids while they ran wild. Really bad behavior all around.
Amenities are rustic, but that's okay if that's what you're looking for. There's no cell reception or wifi in the park.
What was really weird is that most nudist parks are very strict about cameras. This place doesn't seem to care. There were people out with movie cameras. My wife and I were uncomfortable and left.

Serendipity is a very family friendly nudist resort. From the moment you check in and until you leave everyone is very friendly and welcoming. You may enter as a stranger but you will be family when you leave. Actually you will not want to leave. Everything is very convenient here. The cafe, hot tub, gym, and pool. There are activities that you can participate in or if you just want to relax you can do that as well. There is so much more to say that I don't have enough room so my recommendation is you just need to come and experience this place. You won't be disappointed.

We spent a week here in April 2016. We accepted the seven nights for the price of six offer. It was good to have a clothes optional place to stay and we spent all our time here nude.
Although we arrived after the office had closed we were welcomed and shown to our poolside cabin, which was small but perfectly adequate, without any fuss. From our little verandah we had a view across the pool to the large clubhouse, the café, the hot tub room and the gym.
Part of the site is wooded and includes a well-maintained path that goes down to the little creek that forms the boundary on that side. Free wi-fi is available in the clubhouse and around the pool area.
We enjoyed our stay here, but we did not like seeing the many dogs walking about without leads. Of the dozen or more that we saw, only two were on leads.

This was the first time ever for me and my wife going to a nudist resort. Everyone that we was in contact with was the nicest, friendly, helpful, they made us feel so very welcomed. We tent camped and had so much fun that we didn't want to leave.

We spent the holiday at Serendipity Park, one of many visits. The people and food were great. Most of the staff will do what it takes to make sure you are having a great time. We only had couple of issues, a drunk owner running the office, the roads looked to be freshly worked looked like a child would have done, a very rude maintenance man. Went into the office and the owner was slurring and having a hard time walking, I have seen this on every visit. The roads very poor along with pipes showing in the roads from wash off. As for the maintenance man, worst ever. He did not have any problem getting mad and loud about issues brought to him to do. During our visit in May he yelled at his help for cleaning the dirt out of the pool. His helper still went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. So besides the owner Paul, Maintenance Rick and the roads, the rest of the staff and members are great.

Sort of a backwoods place but very friendly people. Friday night karaoke and Saturday night dances were fun. Daytime was fun with water volleyball, pétanque, ladder golf, and other goings on. Would have liked better roads since they are muddy red dirt and we were afraid to get stuck.

I completely understand your concern and question. I too am a widow and had visited this place before deciding to go full time. Everyone there was so welcoming and friendly it was beyond my expectations. There are several men and women there in your age group as well that like you are very active. We are having our 20 year and Fourth of July celebration coming up. But if you would like to come before the I can guarantee you'll be back. It has helped me tremendously.
