We had a very pleasant stay at this SpringHill Suites. As of January 2022, the property feels brand new. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
I agree with other reviewers that the frosted glass on the bathroom is impractical. It provides a nice ambient glow during the day, but at night you can’t use the bathroom light without illuminating the entire room. Tricky, especially with kids. And the location of the TV is awkward when multiple people are watching from the couch and the bed.
But overall, it’s a lovely property in a great location. We would stay here again.

My family had an extraordinary experience at this beautiful, new hotel. The spacious and impeccably furnished suite was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed the delicious and plentiful breakfast buffet in the enormous, modern lobby. The large gym was awesome with a ton of new cardio machines, free weights and stretching equipment. Manager Manisa Ortiz and the incredible staff were warm, kind and professional. They consistently went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and getting the best value and quality experience. I highly recommend Springhill Suites Winter Park.

Were told upon arrival our room would be serviced every other day. Our stay was 5 nites. After 3 days no one came to clean the room and had to ask to have it cleaned. we were told we were on the schedule. After no cleaning, we again requested service, finally on our last day, towels were picked up and trash was emptied. Its a shame the service was poor because the hotel was otherwise nice. Probably won't go back

Configuration of room: sliding barn door with glass insert separates bathroom from bed area. If you get up at night, need to turn on light, it shines in eyes of sleeping people in bed. Asked for a nightlight but they didn't have one. Also smoke detector positions so it shines in your eyes if sleeping, it lights every few minutes. Toilet seat lid fell off. Disappointing to have little things mar a new hotel. The only thing "hot" on breakfast bar was the coffee. There were vending machine type sausage egg cheese biscuits or burritos you could microwave. Very unappealing. One side of 4 slot toaster didn't work, so had to wait in line to heat up a muffin. The staff could have walked to a close WalMart and bought a toaster in 5 minutes! Very disappointing.

My husband and I stayed at the Winter Park SpringHill Suites on New Year’s Eve. We chose that hotel because it was close to the event we were attending that evening. The room was clean, everything looked updated and fresh. I loved having the desk area of the suite to do my make up at while I was getting ready. Derek, at the Front Desk, was lovely at both check in and check out. There was always someone imminently available at the front desk no matter the time of day or night ready to assist with positive energy. After or NYE event it was awesome to be able to purchase a couple of snacks to enjoy back in the room for a little late night snack. Also did I mention I absolutely loved their bed, so comfy, and the black out curtain set up was incredible, at almost 10 in the morning, it felt like it was still 5am, deliciously dark in the room. If the need arises we will definitely stay here again and very much look forward to it. Thank you for making our little stay more than just a convenience but an excellent experience.

We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of check in, the friendliness of the staff, and when we opened our room door, we felt so comfortable. There was so much room and the lighting is perfect. Our shower was one of the best ever. Cleanliness was perfection. The hotel complimentary breakfast was full of nice surprise touches and a lot of thought was put into providing a good experience at all areas of this hotel. We will go back to this hotel. The only negative was we had to pay $12 for parking.

SpringHill Suites Winter Park is a new hotel that opened in November 2021. I had the initial pleasure of meeting Front Desk Agent, Shanita. She was engaging from the minute I entered the establishment. Moreover, she was knowledgeable about Marriott's products/services along with the surrounding Winter Park area. Every morning I was greeted with a warm smile and was consistently asked if I was enjoying my stay and if i had any questions/concerns. I would definitely recommend this hotel and advise connecting with Shanita upon arrival.

Stay Period: I stayed in the hotel from the 9.21.22 till the 9.26.22. Location: 10/10 great location with lot of food outlets nearby in an upscale area. Cleanness: inside/outside the hotel and room service cleaning is 10/10. Breakfast : good variety with a great senior aged lady working, cleaning and managing the breakfast area, she is a star, she talks to people, she refills, she cleans by the minute, she was a great example of super customer service. Front desk team: 3 males, 2 females doing a great job covering the afternoon and late night shift, however the front desk manager and her friend covering the morning shift are rude, unprofessional and aggressive and above that the lack basic customer service skills setting a clear example for horrible customer service. I spent 98 nights in hotels so far this year, and say that these 5 days have been the most lowest customer service I have received this year by far at this hotel.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Springhill Suites in Winter Park. It was okay for one night but for almost $200/night, it was pricey for what was not a “suite” – it was a standard no-frills hotel room.
Check-in was okay. The lobby was modern with a medium size lounge area and breakfast area. We did not feel comfortable leaving our car in the low-lit parking lot that seemed separate from the hotel.
The room was okay - sofa, desk with an odd glass divider, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and large brightly lit bathroom with walk-in shower. But there wasn’t much storage (very small closet, 2 drawer bureau), no safe and cheap laminate furniture. Everything was still in good shape for this new-ish hotel but the cheap furnishings may not age well.
The AC was also a problem - we had to choose between a very cold noisy room or turning off the AC. Also - unless the shower door is tightly closed, water pools on the floor outside the shower door.

The food was poor quality especially the hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs The bacon very undercooked and greasy. Out of coffee with long wait periods to get a hot coffee refills. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
