Most amazing place! We stayed here during our wedding weekend and booked the entire hotel for our guests. The hotel management was spotless from initial and continued communications, great arrangements around the reservations, flexibility with changes, etc. Nikki greeted us with a bottle of champagne and made us feel very welcome. We also experienced excellent service throughout the weekend. The pool and amenities are lovely, location right by the beach and easy and free parking. Both us and our guests loved it! We also hosted a pre-wedding cocktail and post wedding brunch and the hotel was nothing but professional and accommodating, coordinated with all the vendors and made us feel at home. Highly recommend regardless of whether the purpose is a visit to Vero Beach or a special event!…
Our room was among the cleanest we have ever stayed in, and the furnishings were top notch! The area is very quiet and a short walk to the beach. We felt comfortable sitting on all of the furniture, which is rare for us in a high humidity, high traffic environment! It would be nice if there was a more secure way for late check ins and early departures than leaving the keys in the unlocked room and if there was coffee available in the office in the morning (would require the office to be staffed prior to 9AM!). Regardless of these two minor recommendations, loved our stay!
This was our 2nd visit to South Beach Place. We stayed the last week of September to enjoy our anniversary. It was absolutely a wonderful stay - great staff, clean rooms, awesome pool area and grounds - immaculately kept with a perfect location across from the beach and South Beach park and a few minutes walk to a three excellent restaurants plus a small pizzeria and a 5 minute easy drive to the island's business district along Ocean Dr or 10 minutes away from downtown Vero on the mainland. We took advantage of the outdoor grill as well as available tables for a couple of outdoor meals. Also grabbed a couple of beach chairs they have available to enjoy the excellent beach - just across the street through the park. September is a great time to visit - not the winter "season" and not summer vacation time, it was quiet and at times seemed like our own place, especially early mornings when I took advantage of the lap pool alone. We first found South Beach Place last April and our second visit only confirmed we found a Gem. Already planning our next stay in April/May and we're looking forward to another great stay.…
Just charming. Loved the kitschy Old Florida decor. Our sofas were hot pink! Only 18 rooms, with your own exterior door (old motel style) ours was #209 right next to steps which was handy. Delightfully upgraded from the 60’s? Beach right across the street. Sequestered clean refreshing pool with plenty of tables for lunch. If you are staying several days this gives you a “suite” option. Tiny partial kitchen, nicely appointed with all you need. Giant tiled shower where tub had presumably been taken out. Only downside was the window a/c and yet it wouldn’t have been the same atmosphere without it.
My family enjoyed our short stay at South Beach Place. The room was very clean. I found the kitchen to be fully stocked with kitchen supplies and appreciated the dish soap that was supplied. The pool area is great with plenty of seating and shade. They even have pool toys for kids. The location is right across from a public beach access with a few restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
Great experience , as soon as we arrived we could smell the cleanliness. My mom and son stay here, they got small dining room, a sofa, cute studio.beach towels, 2 soaps , microwave, but we really appreciatte was how clean it was comparing to the other hotel we gotbto stay because there was no room in this one ..
I found South Beach Place online while searching for a place to have a girls getaway weekend and I was not disappointed. The room I stayed in looked exactly like the pictures online. My room was spotless and comfortable. For the price, it was a great deal. Yeah, the bed was a little lumpy but not so bad I couldn't sleep. I will definitely return!
We celebrated our family reunion here; occupied 8 of the 18 rooms. Each is decorated differently, bright, clean and plenty of room. Chairs are available right outside the door for overflow. The well-equipped rooms have dishware, pans and utensils. Each unit has a fridge/freezer, microwave and/or oven. There is no communal ice machine. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and create a feeling of isolation even though the beach is a short block away. There are plenty of chairs/umbrellas around the pool. Nikki, the mgr, was great in handling our reservations and making our stay perfect. While the "handicapped" bathroom had guard bars, it is really not equipped for roll in wheelchair access. I'm already looking forward to our next time there. To find a place like this, taken care of so lovingly, was a real treat.…
This place is well maintained, clean, and just across quiet Ocean Drive from a gorgeous and spacious town beach. They've taken an old motel with cinderblock walls and made it stylish. Rooms are one bedroom suites - very roomy and a great value - and are not carpeted which is a plus. A/C is provided by a single bedroom wall unit, so that room ran cold and the others warm. Wifi didn't work, signal was too low. And the bed we had wasn't great - felt lumpy. We rolled with it for a great one night visit - just want others to be aware.
My husband and I, and our 2 small puppies, spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it. The room was quaint, clean and well-outfitted, the location to the beach couldn't have been better, and the grounds were lovely. Check in was easy, even though we arrived after the office had closed, and we were graciously allowed a late check-out. The sweet woman in the office even found my lost earring and is sending it to me! Can't say enough good things about South Beach Place.
