I rented 2 rooms to share with my family. The hotel has a great location, close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The service was very good. the employees were very nice and friendly. The rooms, pool and resting areas were clean. The parking lot is very small and if there is not enough spaces to park. You need to park across the street or park behind your family member's car (if you are in a group). The a/c in my room was very noisy and it was very hard to sleep at night. The lights on the hall are not turn off at night and there is no curtains on the windows, just blinds and there're not good enough to cover the light. Between the a/c and the lights from outside was very hard to fall asleep. I had better expectations for the price I paid for them.
We just returned from our stay at The Milloy. We loved having our own kitchen and enough space to spread out. The beach is a short stroll, and chairs are provided to guests. A variety of restaurants are close-by. We'll be staying there again!
We just returned from a wonderful vacation at The Molloy. It was the perfect quaint beach cottage on the gulf. The staff are all so friendly and want to make your visit the best it can be. They make you feel like family. The outdoor areas were our favorite. We enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks and Adirondack chairs each evening.
We went on a weekend trip with our son, my mom, and sister. The rooms were so accomodating, spacious, and had everything we could have asked for. The proximity to the beach allowed us to walk back and forth from the pool to the beach. They provide towels, beach toys, beach chairs, but to be honest the property is so beautiful you won't wanna venture out too long. We enjoyed how close everything was, parking on site was a little crowded but that wasn't a huge deal as there was a lot across the street that we were able to use. We will be coming back to the Molloy any chance we get.
The first thing were the positives.....VERY nice people checking us in...I do not want this to reflect on them. Air conditioning blew cold. Walking distance to Publix. Free umbrellas to those staying there and chairs. This is a beach front hotel but the water is 200 yards from hotel just so people know Now the rest. Terrible parking not enough spaces for those staying there...there is space across the street in a shut down hotel parking lot..then you have to walk across a busy street. You do get a "Molloy" parking pass but no one regulates cars parked there. No on site staff after before 10am or after 10pm so no one to monitor the 9am to 9pm pool times...people were screaming outside our room (in the pool) until past 11 pm Bed was super loud (Sounded very crunchy every move you made) Shade was broken on window facing the pool so people walking by could see in (was reported when we first arrived)…
This was our second time at The Malloy for our family vacation. We have a group of ten and rented two rooms. We always have the best time when we stay here. The staff is so, so nice and are always quick to get you what you need. The view is absolutely beautiful. The beach is just a couple steps away. We love this place and will be coming back year after year.
Loved this place! We stayed in the gulf view cottage, room #4. Would definitely recommend the cottages! They’re #3 and #4. They are a little more private with a nice outdoor area and view right to the beach. They have a great option to place your linens in a laundry basket outside your door and they’ll refresh them and you can request beach towels as well! The staff was amazing and accommodating!!! The only tips we have: our room had no iron if that matters to you and the laundry machines are free but busy so might need to time that right! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, a Publix and a Walgreens which is a plus for no car.
As we’ve gone many places in the past, we decided upon The Molloy this year! We had a party of about 20 family members, (from Ohio, Florida & California) and several rooms to accommodate us comfortably! The property was nice and had some nice amenities, (clean towels nightly, washer/dryer access, chairs & umbrellas for the beach) close proximity to the beach and although smaller, the pool was refreshing and enjoyable! I can’t say enough great things about the staff! They were all very helpful, from the front desk to the maintenance and grounds man, they were all so nice and accommodating! They went above and beyond and it was VERY much appreciated! We ventured out to St John’s Pass one day and walked down the beach one evening to Caddy’s for dinner, both within a short jaunt, and easy to get to. We also had tacos delivered by by circle on the beach and about 12 of us went down an inflatable water slide down the beach too! We had a very memorable vacation, with lots of pictures and fun and will let everyone we know all about The Molloy, because it is definitely worth coming back! Thank you to The Molloy, and the amazing staff! We appreciate you for making our vacation a GREAT one this year! The ‘Costello’ Crew…
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! Restaurants within walking distance, as well as a grocery store. The beach was amazing and so close! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The Molloy is a great place to stay.
I have been vacationing at The Molloy for 52 years and it is wonderful. The team has done a great job upgrading and maintaining The Molloy. Great people, great fun and great food! The seating areas are great for visiting in the morning with coffee and friends.
