Felt very safe with the Covid precautions implemented. The hotel is conveniently located to everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable, for a longer stay having a kitchenette is really nice. Staff was always nice and receptive. Would definitely recommend!

We were there in November for 2 weeks and was great. We had a small dog and by the time we left so many staffers knew her name. The front desk was wonderful and helpful when we checked in. The breakfast ladies were kind and knew what we wanted every morning. The hotel was clean and the sanitized the rooms then labeled them. You could also tell that they sanitized the elevators also. We were there during the last tropical storm that came in. They were great during this also. If we are back in Tampa would definitely stay here again.

It was filthy!! I booked this room solely based on cleanliness reviews, and was I disappointed. This room had not been cleaned! There was dog hair and sticky stuff, literally Everywhere. The towels and sheets had been changed, that’s it. The floors were sticky, there was food in the microwave and fridge - it was gross.

I was there to have surgery in Tampa and chose this hotel because my surgeon recommend it. I had surgery in Tampa today. Everything went well except the hotels Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites by Hilton, 1155 East Kennedy Blvd, Tampa FL. They started knocking on my door way before checkout time and kept calling to force us to leave before checkout time. Forget about a late check as they will not agree to this. I was in a lot of pain and had nausea, and this constant harassment caused High blood pressure and pain to me. It is located in a bad part of Tampa, FL. If you want to protect your health, stay at a different Hotel.

Hi Prunty_1, I wanted to take the time to thank you for providing your comments about your experience at the hotel. Housekeeping does start at 830-9am daily which is necessary in order to have all of our rooms ready for our guest by 3pm. Housekeepers start with the rooms that have checked out and then once they have completed those rooms they go to the rooms that are due out that day and do not have a "Do Not Disturb Sign" on the door. This is standard operating procedure for all hotels. We would never force someone to leave before check out time, however, we do knock on doors if there is not a sign on the door indicating not to in order to have rooms ready for check-in time. I do apologize if this caused an issue during your stay. If you decide to visit us again in the future, the Do Not Disturb sign is located on the back of your guest room door. You just need to place that on the on your door handle to tell housekeeping not to knock on your door. Lastly, I am shocked to read your comment about the safety of Channel District. This is certainly not an unsafe area and is actually a very family friendly part of town. You see residents of Channel District walking their doors at all hours of the night because of how safe this area is. We do hope to see you again in the future so that we can provide you with a better experience. We hope you are recovering well from your surgery! Kind Regards Stacy R
