Very clean. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about area. Front desk staff went out of the way to find an address for me to get parts for my Rig and hours of operation for the business. Food is good price a in line for area. Room was clean and up tp date.

I wanted to visit the Hard Rock Casino but refused to pay Hard Rock hotel prices. This Fairfield Inn was a good choice for us. Free shuttle on the hour to/from the casino until midnight. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. This Fairfield Inn has coffee and ice water available for guests in the lobby at all times. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning which included scrambled eggs, sausages, bagels, English muffins, waffles, some fresh fruit, etc.

This hotel must be new to the Marriott family. Check in is the most important because it is the first impression. I work for a 4 Star Marriott property and being a Fairfield Inn I had low standards and somehow they still came up short. At check in she asked my last name, checked my I.D. Than gave me my keys. No welcome, thank you or anything. The room was not vacuumed and the walls had an outside stucco like texture. The ad stated remodeled in 2017 but I couldn’t tell where. Breakfast was horrible and the only hot options (eggs and sausage) were not edible. Seemed to be microwaved. I guess you get what you pay for but being a Marriott property I expected better. They were lucky my visit wasn’t for a brand audit.

Stayed here one night prior to cruise. Price was substantially below comparable hotels in Ybor City. Ybor is closer to port and restaurants but twice the price. Fairfield is comfortable and offers a reasonably priced shuttle to the cruise ship
